Izaskun Gipuzkoa (May 1st, 1398) represents the first generation of Hezuri racers born after independence. Following the completion of her military service with honors, she signed with the HML (Hezur Motorlanak) civilian engineering division in 1420, and became their second competitive racer in the summer of 1421. A combination of her youth, lauded military record, level head under pressure and the notability of her family have made her Hezur’s most high profile figure in motorsport. She now takes her first steps upon the Esferosi world stage, drawing attention to her military record and connections. Gipuzkoa currently drives for Lantza, the international division of domestic manufacturer HML.

The Ring of Gaztelu (Gazteluko Eraztuna) is built into the heart of the treacherously rocky cliffside capital of its name. An urban course built into an ancient city, the circuit is notoriously narrow and unforgiving, with only two points at the DRS detection zones where drivers can reliably overtake one another. Technical skill is key to victory, and drivers have suffered frequent, horrific crashes due to Gaztelu's temperamental climate and the track's grueling length.

Team Lantza (Talde Lantza) has seen tremendous public support in Hezur's recent entrance into international motorsport. A fiercely nationalistic and proud nation, Hezur approaches sporting as passionately as any other display of their development following independence from Aukera. Lantza's primary sponsorship comes from state industry itself, as its parent company is none other than Hezur Motorlanak - the centerpiece of Hezuri military engineering and production. Most of Team Lantza's members arrive directly from decorated military careers, and the sport has become a popular with former pilots.

Religious and personal freedoms are sacrosanct in spite of the small nation's heavy militarization.
