  3. Anticapitalist party: A minor party created in 1415 taking from the ideals of the NSR, it is highly unpopular nationwide and are seen as inconsequential in Mallorcan politics.

    Left-Right Spectrum: FAR-LEFT

    Globalist-Isolationist Spectrum: EXTREME ISOLATIONISM

Earth: Minor party formed in 1394 who think the ecological reforms of the SMMR have not gone far enough (despite the being the most eco-friendly nation in Doll Guldur). Although they have some form of support in certain states, such as in the state of Oceic, where they are the second largest party, they are not very influent in Mallorcan politics.

    Left-Right Spectrum: LEFT

    Globalist-Isolationist Spectrum: GLOBALIST

Mallorcan Socialist Party: One of the 3 main Mallorcan parties, the MSP governs alongside Marble Mallorca Together. The MSP furthers Socialist policies that they have implemented in Mallorca, such as a large UBI and the drafting of the bipartisan Healthcare for All Bill. However, as MMT has somewhat shifted to the left, taking some potential voters, they are not as strong as before going into the elections.

    Left-Right Spectrum: LEFT

    Globalist-Isolationist Spectrum: GLOBALIST

Marble Mallorca Together: The current largest party in Mallorca, Marble Mallorca Together has dominated the political scene for the last 12 years, and it is likely to remain so. Lately, MMT has been somewhat shifting to the left due to the influence of Nico Unordille, embracing the ideals of Social Democracy. In the last 7 years, they have governed alongside the MSP, leaving the Socialists lead foreign relationship while the MMT took care of nationwide issues.

    Left-Right Spectrum: LEFT, CENTRE-LEFT

    Globalist-Isolationist Spectrum: MODERATE GLOBALIST

National Party: One of Mallorca’s 3 main parties. The National Party has shifted towards Centrism lately. This angered many of the more right-wing/Conservative party members, leading to around 35% of party members leaving the National Party to form We Are Mallorca in 1419, greatly weakening the National Party, who had planned to become the first Mallorcan political party in this election, which now seems impossible. The more conservative figures having left the party, they have now much more centrist than before.

    Left-Right Spectrum: CENTRIST/CENTRE-RIGHT

    Globalist-Isolationist Spectrum: GLOBALIST

We Are Mallorca: The most recent party in Mallorca, WAM was formed in 1418, after numerous members of the National Party departed over political differences. WAM has been heavily critical of all Mallorcan parties and hopes to join the three main parties as a major player in Mallorcan politics, they are wildly regarded as the Wildcard in this elections, especially after they announced they would refuse forming a coalition with the National party, even if it would allow them to gain the majority in the Spheric Senate.

    Left-Right Spectrum: RIGHT

Globalist-Isolationist Spectrum: MODERATE ISOLATIONIST/ NO OPINION

Marble Liberty Union: One of the oldest parties in Mallorcan, the Marble Liberty Union is an anarcho-libertarian party. Despite existing since the foundation of the Marble Mallorcan Republic, outside of a few strongholds on Baocao and Blaja states, the party wields little influence, they had once been the 3rd largest party at one point in history (1402-1408, behind the National Party and MMT), yet this was extremely circumstantial and are now a pretty minor party.

    Left-Right Spectrum: RIGHT

    Globalist-Isolationist Spectrum: EXTREME ISOLATIONISM

One Marble: Another recent party in Mallorcan politics which was formed during the break-up of the National Party, with the extreme-nationalists choosing not to join WAM, instead, they formed their own party. Due to general distrust in extremism in Mallorcan society, One Marble is extremely unpopular, and polls have shown it as the most unpopular party in Mallorca (91% of the population views the party negatively) and all 3 major parties (MSP, MMT, NP) have stated they would refuse to govern with One Marble.

  4. MARBLYMPICS, EVENT 3, FUNNEL ENDURANCE, PART 2

Greg Woods: Obviously, now that group A is completed, we now move on to group B on the funnel tower, with the line-up being the following:

    1. Vespa Horne (Hornets)

    2. Kinnowin Or-An-ger (O'Rangers)

    3. Wespy Midwisia (Midnight Wisps)

    4. Clutter Baocao (Balls of Chaos)

    5. Rezzy Rasprace (Raspberry Racers)

    6. Smoggy Hazeren (Hazers)

    7. Cyan Eye Craceye (Crazy Cat's Eyes)

    8. Shock Thubol (Thunderbolts)

    And here we go!

gate opens and all come crashing down into the first funnel

    10 SECONDS IN

    SMOGGY: FUNNEL 1

    CLUTTER, CYANEYE, WESPY: FUNNEL 2

VESPA, KINNOWIN, REZZY, SHOCK: FUNNEL 3

And right off the bat, something differentiating group A from group B is the fact that 10 seconds in, we still have one athlete, Smoggy, remaining in funnel 1! Also, much more people remaining in funnel 2 than last time! Kinnowin, down in funnel 3, since the Minty Maniacs have already qualified for the final, they need a top performance in order to close the gap between the two teams. Same goes for Cyan Eye, Rezzy and Wespy, who are 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively and are all together in group B, so this probably will  be a tougher group this time.

    20 SECONDS IN

WESPY, REZZY, CYANEYE, CLUTTER: FUNNEL 3

    SMOGGY, SHOCK, KINNOWIN: FUNNEL 4

    VESPA: FUNNEL 5

Oh, and it all comes undone for Smoggy, who had been off to such a good start, comes crashing down 3 funnels all the way down with Shock and Kinnowin! Just goes to show you that your performance inside the funnel itself doesn't mean anything if you're unable to maintain yourself after falling down, even if you're ahead of the pack, you must stick the landing. However, this is good news for those up in funnel 3. Nonetheless, the one who really is in the hottest as of now is Vespa, who is going to drop into the lower funnels any time now.

    30 SECONDS IN

    CYANEYE: FUNNEL 3

    KINNOWIN, CLUTTER: FUNNEL 4

    REZZY, WESPY: FUNNEL 5

    SHOCK, SMOGGY, VESPA: FUNNEL 6

Oh my, it seems like group B is the polar opposite of group A! While group A had everyone group up in funnel 6, the group B competitors are now spread across 4 different funnels, with Cyaneye from the Crazy Cat's Eyes being the only one to stay in funnel 3! The Crazy Cat's Eyes, this team had proven their Funnel Endurance Strength back in 1419, where they had performed exceptionally. Kinnowin, also staying in his initial funnel and has been joined by none else than Clutter! Finally, Smoggy continues his drop downwards.

    40 SECONDS IN

    CYANEYE, CLUTTER, KINNOWIN: FUNNEL 5

REZZY, WESPY, SHOCK, SMOGGY, VESPA: FUNNEL 6

Perhaps I spoke too soon about funnel 6, as we know have 5 Marblympians in there, it will be down to who is closest to the hole in the funnel and it is currently Smoggy, Shock and Vespa who are in danger of dropping down into funnel 7 soon. Remember, being close to the hole doesn't guarantee the drop. It is very possible to stay in the funnel while taking profit of the people around you. Anyways, Cyan Eye joins Clutter and Kinnowin as they are the only ones still on the upper half of the tower.

    50 SECONDS IN

CYANEYE, CLUTTER, KINNOWIN, REZZY, WESPY, SMOGGY: FUNNEL 6

    SHOCK, VESPA: FUNNEL 7

Smoggy, able to elude the attacks from Shock and Vespa long enough to see Cyan Eye and the others drop down into the larger funnels but is now, along with Rezzy and Wespy, about to fall into funnel 7. Shock, at this point, isn't entirely on funnel 7 but more on the ramp conducting him to funnel 7, so both are pretty much solidly locked in funnel 7 for the next 20 seconds or so.

    60 SECONDS IN

    CLUTTER, CYANEYE, KINNOWIN: FUNNEL 6

SHOCK, VESPA, SMOGGY, WESPY: FUNNEL 7

    REZZY: FUNNEL 8

Things simply do not seem to go well for Rezzy, who has, in 10 seconds dropped down two large funnels! Never seen before! A complete upset unfolding before our eyes as we pass the one minute mark. The top three seem pretty solidly established up on top, but it only takes one upset for this superiority to turn into a complete disaster. As we reach one minute, you may notice that group B is slightly higher than group A when they were 60 seconds in. In group A, only one, Ducky, was still in funnel 6 and we had a whopping 5 athletes down in funnel 8, much more than now.

    70 SECONDS IN

    CLUTTER, CYANEYE, KINNOWIN: FUNNEL 7

SHOCK, VESPA, SMOGGY, WESPY, REZZY: FUNNEL 8

Very consistent and gradual descent from everyone, everyone except Rezzy falling down one funnel. Although these 8 athletes are technically ahead of the 8 before them, it doesn't really matter here, as it isn't the top 8 times, but the top 4 times from each group that move on, a move that has sparked quite a bit controversy lately. Right now, Shock seems in position to drop down first, but we must not neglect Rezzy, whom his exposed left flank could make it possible for others to make him drop down.

    80 SECONDS IN

    KINNOWIN: FUNNEL 7

CLUTTER, CYANEYE, SHOCK, VESPA, SMOGGY, WESPY, REZZY: FUNNEL 8

Kind of a calm before the storm right here, with only Clutter and Cyan Eye dropping down a funnel. Speaking of dropping down, you're going to want to be careful not to have too much speed going into the next funnel. In this year's qualifiers, Hop from the Jungle Jumpers made that same mistake and careened off the funnel and fell off. Doing so, they lost two points in the qualifiers and missed qualifying by just one point, so you're going o want to be extra careful there.

    90 SECONDS IN

KINNOWIN, SHOCK, SMOGGY, WESPY, REZZY: FUNNEL 8

    CLUTTER, VESPA, CYANEYE: FUNNEL 9

Oh, and another upset as Clutter and Cyaneye are now in funnel 9, they were doing so well just a few moments ago and are now at great risk of elimination, they're going to have to play very strategically if they want to bounce back from this. Vespa keeps descending through the funnels and has consistently been lower than the rest of the group. On the other hand, Smoggy, who had had a terrible fall from grace at the start of the game, has been gradually improving, just like Rezzy who's managed to keep it together at the last moment.

    100 SECONDS IN

KINNOWIN, SHOCK, SMOGGY, WESPY, REZZY: FUNNEL 9

    CLUTTER, VESPA, CYANEYE: FUNNEL 10

Everyone has dropped precisely by one funnel and we now have three in the final funnel with 5 in the penultimate one. Things aren't looking good for the bottom three, although Shock, Smoggy and Rezzy are about to go down into funnel 10 while they do have a substantial margin, they must make an upset here and now. Although it's safe to say Kinnowin and Wespy will be qualifying, the 4 qualified could potentially be anyone. And since we're at a time where Mo had already dropped down, the game will probably drag on longer than group A.

    110 SECONDS IN

    KINNOWIN: FUNNEL 9

SHOCK, SMOGGY, WESPY, REZZY, CLUTTER, VESPA, CYANEYE: FUNNEL 10

And just like last game, it comes down to the final funnel, only a few seconds later. And you know what this means, it means those moving on to the final will have to prove it on the last funnel and it all seems unbelievably close, all seven at a moderate distance from the hole, the game will probably move over 2 minutes in fact. Smoggy, Wespy and Vespa on the left-hand side of the funnel and Cyan Eye, Clutter, Rezzy and Shock on the left-hand side. Who will qualify?!

    120 SECONDS IN

KINNOWIN, SHOCK, SMOGGY, WESPY, REZZY, CLUTTER, CYANEYE: FUNNEL 10

    VESPA - ELIMINATED (1:59.52)

And it is still going! Vespa ending up in 8th and missing out on the 2 minutes mark by only half a second and ending up in 12th. Now everyone, including Kinnowin, is on the last funnel, but all six other are a mere centimetres away from the end hole, it is now anyone's game, Kinnowin is practically insured qualification but Wespy seems to have been caught up by the flow and in now with the others and in fact, might be the second one to fall, what a game, everybody.

FUNNEL ENDURANCE. RESULTS - GROUP B

    QUALIFIED:

    KINNOWIN - 2:15.12

    CYAN EYE - 2:06.66

    CLUTTER - 2:06.22

    SHOCK - 2:05.51

    ELIMINATED:

    REZZY - 2:04.30

    SMOGGY - 2:03.71

    WESPY - 2:01.69

    VESPA - 1:59.52

And Kinnowin gets the win with a 2:15.12! Cyan Eye and Clutter have managed to qualify by staying in the last funnel for a full 26 seconds while Shock discreetly takes 4th place and qualifies the Thunderbolts. Shock, really flying under the radar the whole time, in fact, I only mentioned him 6 times! Smoggy, unfortunately, would be the third to drop out and end up in 6th and get only 6 points for that, Wespy is the biggest upset though, he had been able to stay at the top for quite some time only to drop the ball at the last moment. However, I must say, I was really expecting Rezzy to qualify instead of Shock, who performed surprisingly well in the last couple of seconds, well enough to barely qualify. Vespa, again, missing the 2 minute mark, after her performance at the St Josalyn olympics, people expected better.

Which means we now have our line-up, for the finals.

  5. MARBLYMPICS, EVENT 3, FUNNEL ENDURANCE

Greg Woods: Tonight, we will be having both our first individual event and a look into local sports as we prepare for the funnel endurance. Tonight, each team will send one of their members to the funnel tower, where them and seven other competitors will attempt to stay the longest in the tower before dropping down, there will be 10 funnels in total, and there are various strategies to maximise your time in these funnels. King Stardust, ever the good sport, is currently on the funnel tower as of this moment. Anyways, two groups of 8, where the top 4 of each group will move on to the final, where the three athletes remaining will be our medalists. A little cold today, as you would expect it by the time of the season. Here's the line-up for group one:

    1. HONEY BUBALI (BUMBLEBEES)

    2. DUCKY GREDUCI (GREEN DUCKS)

    3. YELLUP MEYELLA (MELLOW YELLOW)

    4. MINTY DRIZZEL MINMA (MINTY MANIACS)

    5.WHIZZY SAVSPED (SAVAGE SPEEDERS)

    6. ASTRON TEGAL (TEAM GALACTIC)

    7. MO TEMOMA (TEAM MOMO)

    8. AQUA OCEIC (OCEANICS)

We will be reporting what will be happening in those funnels thanks to the many cameras installed in the tower, so without further a do, here they go!

gate opens and all 8 come into the first funnel

    10 SECONDS IN

And only ten seconds into the event, all competitors have dropped down at least into the second funnel, with Ducky and Minty Drizzel being the only two who aren't in the 3rd funnel yet. This is quite common, as the no one tends to stay very long in the first funnel when you see how many are inside it simultaneously. Remember, these extremely steep funnels only have a 6 meter diameter for the higher funnels, with a hole in the center for you to fall down into the next funnel. The Minty Maniacs, who are currently on top of the standings, off to a good start.

    20 SECONDS IN

    WHIZZY, ASTRON: FUNNEL 3

YELLUP, MO, DUCKY, MINTY DRIZZEL: FUNNEL 4

    HONEY, AQUA: FUNNEL 5

Whizzy and Astron are successful at maintaining themselves in the third funnel, which isn't the case of Minty Drizzel and Ducky who fall down to Yellup and Mo's level on funnel 4 while Honey and Aqua are on the verge of leaving the top half of the funnel tower. From the outside, this does seem like a wacky sport, but all those who have already practiced it will guarantee you, Funnel Endurance is such a demanding event, where you fight tooth and claw to gain only a second or two...add that to fighting off 7 other top grade athletes, it makes you realise the skill level demanded to be in the Marblympics.

    30 SECONDS IN

    YELLUP: FUNNEL 4

    MO, ASTRON, DUCKY: FUNNEL 5

AQUA, MINTY DRIZZEL, WHIZZY, HONEY: FUNNEL 6

It will now be Yellup's turn to stay in his original funnel, giving him the provisional lead, meanwhile, Aqua, Minty Drizzel, Whizzy and Honey have arrived in the lower half of the funnel tower, with larger, flatter funnels that will make the competitors last longer, this has been added to respect the slightly alternate Funnel Endurance practiced in Tegal. Now, the situation is looking pretty dire for Aqua and Honey, since for now 30 seconds, they have stayed in the bottom of the pack, that is not what you want halfway through the funnels.

    40 SECONDS IN

    DUCKY: FUNNEL 5

YELLUP, MO, ASTRON, AQUA, MINTY DRIZZEL, WHIZZY, HONEY: FUNNEL 6

And we are viewing a radical evening of the field in funnel 6! As only Ducky manages to stay in the higher half of the tower, all others are now neck-and-neck, meaning that whoever is the closest to the exit hole at this point will probably be the next to fall off, I believe Whizzy, Mo and Aqua are currently in that dangerous position, let's see how this will turn out. Really, the brand new funnels do add a whole new dimension to the sport and encourage confrontation between others.

    50 SECONDS IN

    DUCKY, HONEY, WHIZZY: FUNNEL 6

YELLUP, MO, ASTRON, AQUA, MINTY DRIZZEL: FUNNEL 7

Quite surprisingly, Whizzy has managed to stay afloat in funnel 6 alongside Ducky and Honey, everyone else, though in now getting ever so close to the end of their run and their hopes of medaling. However, props to Honey for being able to only drop down one funnel in 30 seconds, this could maybe give him the edge in this match-up. On the opposite, Mo, who had started in the lead, has consistently been falling down one funnel every 10 seconds-ish, at this rate, he will be eliminated in about 40 seconds, Team Momo better watch out.

    60 SECONDS IN

    DUCKY: FUNNEL 6

    HONEY, WHIZZY: FUNNEL 7

YELLUP, MO, ASTRON, AQUA, MINTY DRIZZEL: FUNNEL 8

As we cross the minute threshold, everyone except Ducky (who looks like he will be dropping in a few seconds), has lowered down one funnel in the tower. For all competing, the fatigue does look like it's starting to kick in. It may only be a minute, but they will tell you, in there, it seems like eternity! As we look at how far away the participants are from the hole leading to funnel 9, they all seem to be at a respectable distance from it, although Astron does seem like he's slightly drifting towards it.

    70 SECONDS IN

    DUCKY: FUNNEL 7

HONEY, WHIZZY, YELLUP, MO, ASTRON, AQUA, MINTY DRIZZEL: FUNNEL 8

There you go, we have, for the second time, almost everyone gathered in the same funnel, as I said, the new funnels give a whole new scope and underlines the importance and danger of wether you're close to middle, and therefore the hole, or not, and it seems here like Astron, Yellup and Aqua are indeed on the verge of dropping down.

    80 SECONDS IN

    MINTY DRIZZEL, DUCKY: FUNNEL 8

HONEY, WHIZZY, YELLUP, MO, ASTRON, AQUA: FUNNEL 9

It has been now almost a minute and a half and Minty Drizzel arises as winner from the battle in funnel 8, since everyone except him has dropped down, Ducky, steering clear of everyone else, as long as he doesn't have a monumental failure, he should qualify fairly easily, while down below, everyone is starting to realise how close they are from elimination, for them, only dropping two funnels would kill their chances, so they're all playing it carefully, cautious not to engage in a skirmish with anyone...

    90 SECONDS IN

    DUCKY: FUNNEL 8

    HONEY, MINTY DRIZZEL: FUNNEL 9

WHIZZY, YELLUP, MO, ASTRON, AQUA: FUNNEL 10

And it all comes down to this. Ducky has booted Minty Drizzel down into funnel nine, but almost everyone who was there has since then departed, we know that since 4 will qualify for the final, one of the athletes in funnel 10 will qualify, maybe even more than that, but the question on everyone's lips is, who will it be? Who will move on to the final, who will drop out of the funnel tower first and let their team down, the conclusion of group one in funnel endurance is upon us...

    100 SECONDS IN

    DUCKY: FUNNEL 9

HONEY, MINTY DRIZZEL, WHIZZY, YELLUP, ASTRON, AQUA: FUNNEL 10

    MO, ELIMINATED (1:38.92)

And Mo is eliminated! 6 athletes in the final funnel using up their last forces to simply not fall down that hole in the funnel, Aqua, Astron, Minty Drizzel and Yellup in particular are dangerously close, this will probably be decided within a few seconds...

    FUNNEL ENDURANCE RESULTS: GROUP A

    QUALIFIED:

    DUCKY - 2:06.99

    WHIZZY - 1:51.85

    MINTY DRIZZEL - 1:48.88

    HONEY - 1:47.95

    ELIMINATED:

    AQUA - 1:46.09

    ASTRON - 1:45.42

    YELLUP - 1:44.05

    MO - 1:38.92

Greg Woods: And Minty Drizzel qualifies!!! Mo, Yellup, Astron and Aqua will not move on to the final while Honey, Minty Drizzel, Whizzy and Ducky will move on and will have a chance to win a medal! See how Ducky and Whizzy are largely ahead of the pack, due to the lack of competitors able to "throw" them into the hole and out of the funnel tower. Ducky, with a 2 minutes and 6 seconds...a full 15 seconds ahead, that's just showing off at that point chuckles. Also, look at Mo's performance, hey, I called that one, I said he would probably be eliminated in 40 seconds, he was taken out in 48 seconds! Honey, with the advantage she had going into the last funnel, you maybe would've expected her to do a little better, might cast doubt on her finals performance. This is also a good moment for Whizzy of the Savage Speeders, who are sitting in dead last in the overall standing with just 3 points, a top 8 (and therefore at least 8 points) performance will certainly give the team a breath of fresh air. But the game's not over yet, as group B still has to roll in!

  6. MARBLYMPICS, EVENT 2, HALFPIPE, PART 2

Greg Woods: Welcome back to the Halfpipe, this morning, we have seen the teams go in the halfpipe for the first time this morning, where the O'Rangers, Crazy Cat's Eyes and Minty Maniacs came on top, but we are back for more, and we are ready to see who will win gold today, so without further ado, this afternoon's first match-up: Mellow Yellow vs Team Galactic!

    MELLOW YELLOW: (5.79s) - 6.42s - 7.72s - 12.58s : 26.72 SECONDS

    TEAM GALACTIC: (5.24s) - 9.61s - 10.65s - 11.48s : 31.74 SECONDS

Team Galactic gets the win with a 31.74. A big difference from this morning's 25.80, giving them the provisional first place. Raspberry Racers and Minty Maniacs now.

    MINTY MANIACS: (3.70s) - 6.56s - 9.54s - 6.58s : 25.68 SECONDS

    RASPBERRY RACERS : (6.95s) - 7.85s - 10.37s - 11.86s : 30.08 SECONDS

Not a great second round performance from the Maniacs, however, their record breaking first run does guarantee them first place for now, yet they will have to hope for mediocre performances from the other top 6 teams to get gold. Meanwhile the Racers get a 4 second improvement compared to they first run. Green Ducks vs Balls of Chaos, BoC, in particular needs at least a 34.28 to overtake the Maniacs.

    GREEN DUCKS: (4.61s) - 5.27s - 8.61s - 12.48s : 26.36 SECONDS

    BALLS OF CHAOS: (4.92s) - 8.12s - 8.69s - 11.31s : 28.12 SECONDS

Despite one of the team members getting above 12 seconds, the Green Ducks fail to beat the BoC in this round. However, they lose the battle but win the war as the cumulated scores give the Green Ducks a 54.00 against a 53.27 from the Balls of Chaos, yet both seem to be set for a disappointing finish. That is not the case of the Midnight Wisps and Hazers, both in striking distance of the podium.

    HAZERS: (4.85s) - 5.34s - 8.55s - 11.10s - 24.99 SECONDS

    MIDNIGHT WISPS: (6.84s) - 8.92s - 10.87s - 11.33s : 31.12 SECONDS

It seems as the Midnight Wisps will win both this run and the overall battle, placing them second out of 8 (both runs combined). On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Hazers, barely missing out on the 25 seconds, making it the worst run this afternoon. Although it seems like the Minty Maniacs will be happy, as they have eliminated two of their three main rivals in the race for the podium, meaning the results halfway through the second part of the Halfpipe the following:

    1. Team Galactic 31.74

    2. Midnight Wisps 31.12

    3. Raspberry Racers 30.08

    4. Balls of Chaos 28.12

    5. Mellow Yellow 26.72

    6. Green Ducks 26.36

    7. Minty Maniacs 25.68

    8. Hazers 24.99

Team Galactic is certainly earning its redemption with their 31.74, the Midnight Wisps stay consistent, but are just short of the Minty Maniacs, who's top-three run this morning keeps on top of the standings, whereas the Hazers are probably going to lose a few stops after that disastrous performance. And now, the current record, the O'Rangers, holders are about to clash once again with the Savage Speeders in order to maybe secure their first place.

    SAVAGE SPEEDERS: (5.86s) - 7.16s - 11.05 - 11.27s : 29.48 SECONDS

    O'RANGERS: (4.17s) - 8.57s- 10.58s - 11.27 : 31.51 SECONDS

And it is another victory for the O'Rangers with the greatest cumulative run and second best individual run, at this point, only the Crazy Cat's Eyes and maybe the Bumblebees can dream of dethroning them. The Savage Speeders neatly improve their score with a 29.48 but stay 10th/10. Speaking of which, the Crazy Cat's Eyes, who will need a 31.67 seconds to beat the O'Rangers, are about to showdown with the Hornets!

    HORNETS: (6.28s) - 7.04s - 8.44s - 10.15s : 25.63 SECONDS

    CRAZY CAT'S EYES: (4.41s) - 7.74s - 9.88s - 12.54s : 30.16 SECONDS

And although this is a solid performance from the Cat's Eyes, it will be unfortunately not enough to beat the O'Rangers, and settle for second, although the event is not over, 4 teams are yet to run, and one could very easily overtake them, however, they are second for now, and the Hornets, are left with a slightly less admirable 6th. We now move on to our second to last duel: Oceanics vs Team Momo, both could snatch a couple of spots, provided they perform well

    OCEANICS: (5.55s) - 5.75s - 7.02s - 9.43s : 22.20 SECONDS

    TEAM MOMO: (4.46s) - 8.93s - 10.74s - 10.99s : 30.66 SECONDS

And there you go, right after saying that, Team Momo, stomps the Oceanics by over 8 seconds and go from 11/16 to 6/14, meanwhile the Oceanics, with their 22.20 fall down to dead last, and are guaranteed to be in the bottom three, really two extremes from two ends of the halfpipe. We arrive now at our very last run: Bumblebees vs Thunderbolts: one will be trying to burst ahead to win a medal today, while the other will desperately try to do well enough to -maybe- move into the top 10.

    THUNDERBOLTS: (6.14s) - 7.24s - 8.07s - 12.59s : 27.90 SECONDS

    BUMBLEBEES: (5.96s) - 6.54s - 8.38s - 10.36s : 25.28 SECONDS

And unfortunately, none of those dreams materialise, two performances under the median time this afternoon will crush the Bumblebees dreams and throw them down into 10th place, while the Thunderbolts, despite one member surpassing the 12 seconds bar in beautiful performance, will be unable to move places and will stay in 14th overall. Which means we can now show the current results for this afternoon

    1. Team Galactic 31.74

    2. O'Rangers 31.51

    3. Midnight Wisps 31.12

    4. Team Momo 30.66

    5. Crazy Cat's Eyes 30.16

    6. Raspberry Racers 30.08

    7. Savage Speeders 29.48

    8. Balls of Chaos 28.12

    9. Thunderbolts 27.90

    10. Mellow Yellow 26.72

    11. Green Ducks 26.36

    12. Minty Maniacs 25.68

    13. Hornets 25.63

    14. Bumblebees 25.28

    15. Hazers 24.99

    16. Oceanics 22.20

Greg Woods: All in all, a much more compact and even field compared to this morning, no real gaps between the standing and lower top performances, as the O'Rangers, Minty Maniacs and Crazy Cat's Eyes had all done better this morning than Team Galactic this afternoon. But remember, it is a two-round event, so we will see how do the Halfpipe results reflect this:

    1st. O'Rangers, 66.00,              25pts

    2nd. Crazy Cat's Eyes, 64.49,  20pts

    3rd. Minty Maniacs, 59.43,      15pts

    4th. Midnight Wisps, 59.34,     12pts

    5th. Team Galactic, 57.54,       11pts

    6th. Team Momo, 57.21,          10pts

    7th. Hornets, 56.61,                   9pts

    8th. Hazers, 56.34,                     8pts

    9th. Raspberry Racers, 56.32,  7pts

    10th. Bumblebees, 56.10,         6pts

    11th. Mellow Yellow, 54.70,      5pts

    12th. Green Ducks, 54.00,         4pts

    13th. Balls of Chaos, 53.27,      3pts

    14th. Thunderbolts, 53.15,        2pts

    15th. Savage Speeders, 51.50, 1pt

    16th. Oceanics, 49.21,                0pt

However, this means, that the O'Rangers will win the second gold medal in the 1420 Marblympics, Halfpipe, the Crazy Cat's Eyes will settle for silver and the Minty Maniacs keep their first place overall with a bronze, the Midnight Wisps, disappointed, will win 12 points with their 4th place , barely missing out. Interestingly, the Oceanics are the only team not to have reached 50 seconds in the halfpipe, an absolute volley of teams beating the old record, with 12 runs alone getting above 30 seconds, just goes to show you the performance bar for the Marblympics just keeps getting higher, anyways, here are the overall standing after 2 events:

    1. Minty Maniacs (+0)          40pts

    2. O'Rangers (+8)                  31

    3. Crazy Cat's Eyes (+2)       31

    4. Raspberry Racers (-2)      27

    5. Midnight Wisps (-2)         27

    6. Team Momo (+0)             20

    7. Hazers (+0).                      17

    8. Balls of Chaos (-4)           15

    9. Bumblebees (-1)               14

    10. Hornets (+2)                   13

    11. Team Galactic (+4)        12

    12. Green Ducks (-3)            11

    13. Oceanics (-2)                  6

    14. Mellow Yellow (+2)        5

    15. Thunderbolts (-2)           5

    16. Savage Speeders (-2)    3

The Minty Maniacs still hold the overall lead in the standings, but the O'Rangers jump up 8 spots while the Balls of Chaos drop down 4 spots. There seems to be a gap of 7 points forming behind the top 5, who are pretty close to one another, as the silver and bronze medalists of Team Gymnastics, the Raspberry Racers, both drop down 2 spots. Team Momo and the Hazers round up the top 7 with 20 and 17 points each, where from there we see a decrease in one point in the standings for the Balls of Chaos (15 points), Bumblebees (14), Hornets (13), Team Galactic, who recovers from Tuesday's disaster (12) and the Green Ducks (11 points) we then arrive at the single-digit quarter, where the Oceanics drop down to 13th after their last place today, ahead only of Mellow Yellow and the Thunderbolts, tied at 5 points each, and the Savage Speeders, whose team seem to be in shambles as our 1416 winners manage to secure 3 points going into Funnel Endurance.

THANK YOU FOR WATCHING THE 1420 MARBLE LEAGUE, AND I WILL SEE YOU ON SATURDAY

  7. MARBLYMPICS EVENT 2, HALFPIPE

Greg Woods: After a short delay caused by meteorologic conditions, the Marblympics are back with the Halfpipe, where two teams of 4, will jolt into the halfpipe and battle each other to become the team to stay the longest in the halfpipe. The time of the first athlete to finish will not be counted, only the times of the latter three. Each teams will go on the halfpipe twice and their score will be calculated by auditioning the two times. The current Marblympics record (for one run) is 29.49 and as usual, Team Stardust will demonstrate how the halfpipe works:

King Stardust and his team demonstrates the Halfpipe.

Thank you king Stardust, now for our first match-up: Mellow Yellow vs Team Galactic

    TEAM GALACTIC : (5.22s) - 6.51s - 8.76s - 10.53s : 25.80 SECONDS

    MELLOW YELLOW : (6.05s) - 7.84s - 8.78s - 11.36s : 27.98 SECONDS

Both of these teams are sitting at the bottom of the Marblympics standings after the first event and desperately need a good finish to come back in the higher end of the standings, how will these performances turn out? Now for the Minty Maniacs vs Raspberry Racers

    RASPBERRY RACERS: (6.44s) - 7.35s - 8.95s - 9.94s : 26.24 SECONDS

    MINTY MANIACS: (6.38s) - 8.61s - 11.91s - 13.23s : 33.75 SECONDS - NEW MARBLYMPICS RECORD

AND IT'S A NEW RECORD FOR THE MANIACS! They had already won gold in the first event and have crushed the Raspberry Racers! The Minty Maniacs are on a roll this year! On form, to star the Marblympics, it will be up to the Balls of Chaos and the Green Ducks to step up to that level

    BALLS OF CHAOS : (5.70s) - 5.97s - 6.25s - 12.93s : 25.15 SECONDS

    GREEN DUCKS : (5.16s) - 8.71s - 9.33s - 9.60s : 27.64 SECONDS

Despite that trailing marble from the BoC, the Green Ducks get the win and third place overall, as its seems like consistency was key for them. You can really see that the averages performances. have sharply increased since 1418, the last time Halfpipe was in the Marblympics, I don't know if it's about new strategies or... Anyways, Hazers vs Midnight Wisps, both are within striking distance from first place, a quarter of the way through the runs.

    MIDNIGHT WISPS : (5.46s) - 7.77s - 8.88s - 11.57s : 28.22 SECONDS

    HAZERS : (4.07s) - 8.67s - 10.48s - 12.20s : 31.35 SECONDS

A great performance from the Hazers, earning them second place, you can see that they sacrificed that first member, who's time wouldn't count, in profit of a better time for the three other athletes. Midnight Wisps, last event's bronze medalist, gets a solid third place out of 8, meaning the current standings are...

    1. Minty Maniacs: 33.75

    2. Hazers 31.35

    3. Midnight Wisps 28.22

    4. Mellow Yellow 27.98

    5. Green Ducks 27.64

    6. Raspberry Racers 26.24

    7. Team Galactic 25.80

    8. Balls of Chaos 25.15

Two teams have already broken last year's record, meanwhile Team Galactic's performance, as hosts, continues to be disappointing. We know have a fight of the titans, bitter rivals that some consider the best teams in the Marblympics, it is: O'Rangers vs Savage Speeders!

    O'RANGERS : (7.06s) - 10.80s - 11.32s - 12.37s : 34.49 SECONDS - NEW MARBLYMPICS RECORD

    SAVAGE SPEEDERS : (3.98s) - 5.77s - 8.11s - 8.14s : 22.02 SECONDS

It's a decisive victory for the O'Rangers! So much, that they take the Marblympics record! Meanwhile, a disaster for the Savage Speeders, who fall down to last! Look at that, all four Speeders have already finished when the second O'Ranger arrives at the finishing gate! A 34.49! Meanwhile, first Speeder member finishing under 4 seconds! Compared to these two performances, the Crazy Cat's Eyes and the Hornets will have a lot to do to make themselves noticed.

    CRAZY CAT'S EYES :  (6.22s) - 10.30s - 11.68s - 12.35 : 34.33 SECONDS

    HORNETS : (4.49s) - 8.70s - 10.34s - 11.94s : 30.98 SECONDS

Wow, and just as I say that, the Crazy Cat's Eyes take second place, narrowly missing out on resetting the ML record three times in one event! The last time that happened was in 1419 Team Gymnastics, where they also took the ML record after the Thunderbolts and the Green Ducks had taken it. Starting to notice a trend here, heh heh. Meanwhile the Hornets, with a >30 seconds performance, take a respectable 5th place. We are nearing the end of the first runs, and what a roller coaster it had been, will the duel between Team Momo and the Oceanics be as exciting?

    TEAM MOMO : (4.51s) - 5.60s - 9.70s - 11.25s : 26.55 SECONDS

    OCEANICS : (6.22s) - 7.86s - 9.44 - 9.71s : 27.01 SECOONDS

Well, you can certainly say it was a close game, but you are missing the explosive finished and disastrous performances, the Oceanics and Team Momo will take 9th and 10th respectively out of 14, not what they were hoping for teams the were pretty average last event. Now, our last matchup for our first runs: Bumblebees vs Thunderbolts!

    BUBMBLEBEES : (4.49s) - 7.62s - 10.84s - 12.36s : 30.82 SECONDS

    THUNDERBOLTS : (5.90s) - 6.14s - 8.42s - 10.69 : 25.85 SECONDS

In 1418, it would've been a new record, but here, against teams with so much various strategies, 30.82 seconds isn't enough: 6th place for the Bumblebees, who get a solid win over the Thunderbolts, who rank 14th. So here are the standings after each team's first run:

    1. O'Rangers 34.49

    2. Crazy Cat's Eyes 34.33

    3. Minty Maniacs 33.75

    4. Hazers 31.35

    5. Hornets 30.98

    6. Bumblebees 30.82

    7. Midnight Wisps 28.22

    8. Mellow Yellow 27.98

    9. Green Ducks 27.64

    10. Oceanics 27.01

    11. Team Momo 26.55

    12. Raspberry Racers 26.24

    13. Team Galactic 25.80

    14. Thunderbolts 25.25

    15. Balls of Chaos 25.15

    16. Savage Speeders 22.02

Greg Woods: Now remember, this isn't the final standings, as every team still has to go a second time. As you can see,  every one of the top 6 teams has broken last year's record, with the record itself having increased by 5 full seconds, you can also see a clear gap of 2.60 seconds between the top 6 teams and everyone else, while everyone mathematically still has a chance, it is clear the the overall winner will come from there. Furthermore, the O'Rangers seem to have come out of nowhere to snatch that record, they had done mediocre in the 1418 halfpipe and had been put up against their bitter rivals the Savage Speeders, speaking of witch, are over three seconds behind the Balls of Chaos, an unexplainable failure from them, what could this spell for the team and future events? Finally, we have the CCE (Crazy Cat's Eyes) who are only 16 hundredths of a second behind the O'Rangers, and could very well snatch first place this afternoon for the team's second run in the halfpipe, I'll see you there.

  8. MARBLYMPICS EVENT 1, TEAM GYMNASTICS

The rules are simple, as a team of four, get on the beam and do the best figure you got to impress the judges. Each competitor will get a number of points going from 0 to 130, which will be cumulated into a final score, as King Stardust and his team will demonstrate.

To everyone's surprise, king Stardust of Tegal and a team of helpers perform a demonstration.

The current Marblympics record is 438pts, a record, that was broken 3 times last year after holding on since 1416 and is currently held by the Crazy Cat's Eyes, can they repeat last year's performance, we will see...Team Galactic, the hosts, are to perform first, as tradition goes.

    TEAM GALACTIC: 27-36-50-78: 191 POINTS

Not quite what they had hoped right off the bat, as he sits in the Andromedome, king Stardust looks a little worried. The Raspberry Racers now! Last year's champions, what can they give us?

    RASPBERRY RACERS: 44-61-120-130: 355 POINTS

That's pretty good! The Racers, two mediocre performances with two high end finishes, able to get one with maximum points. The Green Ducks, second in 1419, what will it look like?

    GREEN DUCKS: 31-50-57-130: 268 POINTS

A marvellous performance at the end with a flawless execution, just a 268 though, not what the Green Ducks had hoped for. The Hazers, bronze in last year's Marblympics, down they come!

    HAZERS: 7-53-130-130: 320 POINTS

It started all in shambles but a great recovery grants them two top marks, just a 320 though, placing them in second place, look how much that 7 stunts it.

The Raspberry Racers hold the top spot, but a legend of the Marblympics approaches, the Savage Speeders, winners of the inaugural season in 1416, second place in 1417 and 1418, and champion of the qualifiers, however, Gymnastics has never been their strong fit.

    SAVAGE SPEEDERS: 38-43-46-106: 233 POINTS

This just goes to prove it, it's almost like the crowded each other, but this is the first event, anything can still happen, they place 4th, what can the Crazy Cat's Eyes, the holder of the record, do?

    CRAZY CAT'S EYES: 36-58-107-130: 331 POINTS

Oh, that was a close one, it all seemed to go so well for them, but lacked synchronisation at the last moment, placing the behind the Racers, still, not bad. The Oceanics! They hosted in 1419, and placed dead last and are looking for redemption...

    OCEANICS: 42-44-49-130: 265 POINTS

Chasing a 355, everyone can excuse them for not being first, yet 3 out of the 4 members failing to reach 50 places them in 5th, barely saved by one great performance. The Thunderbolts are up as we arrive half way through the event.

    THUNDERBOLTS: 30-49-52-130: 261 POINTS

This seems to be quite similar to the Oceanics, placing only 4 points behind them, it seemed like they put all their eggs in one basket as one seemed to jolt ahead during the performance for a better result.

    STANDINGS AT HALFWAY:

    1. RASPEBERRY RACERS     2. CRAZY CAT'S EYES     3. HAZERS     4. GREEN DUCKS     5. OCEANICS     6. THUNDERBOLTS     7. SAVAGE SPEEDERS     8. TEAM GALACTIC

    How about Mellow Yellow here?

    MELLOW YELLOW: 25-37-45-49: 156 POINTS

Oh my. That was way too mellow. 156, what on Earth happened there? None of that looked composed! Let's hope the Minty Maniacs have a better showing...

    MINTY MANIACS: 21-109-120-130: 380 POINTS

Great teamwork there and a beautiful performance placing the in first! The Minty Maniacs, a great story of the Marblympics, were there in 1418, had retired in the meantime, had to come back through the B-League and are now in first! The Balls of Chaos will have a lot of work to do to beat that

BALLS OF CHAOS: 24-65-118-130: 337 POINTS

Not as grandiloquent as the Minty Maniacs, yet a fairly good performance, placing them in 3rd out of 11, they missed that little nudge to give them the win right there...They set a good example for the Midnight Wisps, winners of the 1418 edition, but had done fairly average last year and are in need of something good.

    MIDNIGHT WISPS: 34-59-130-130: 353 POINTS

A great run from the Wisps, with two full scores, and missing the Racers by only two points! Our 1418 champions notch in a 353.

STANDINGS AFTER 12 RUNS: 1. MINTY MANIACS     2. RASPBERRY RACERS     3. MIDNIGHT WISPS     4. BALLS OF CHAOS     5. CRAZY CAT'S EYES     6. HAZERS     7. GREEN DUCKS     8. OCEANICS     9. THUNDERBOLTS     10. SAVAGE SPEEDERS     11. TEAM GALACTIC     12. MELLOW YELLOW.

Just four yet to run, you can feel the difficulty really ramping up from here, as you need at least at 350 to place in the top 3, so what can our 1417 champions, the O'Rangers do?

    O'RANGERS: 28-50-57-130: 265 POINTS

Rather disappointing for our champions, one of them will save the team and place them at the same level as the Oceanics, but probably not what they wished for. Three to go. The Hornets:

    HORNETS: 21-39-74-130: 264 POINTS

Ouch! Just one down from the O'Rangers and Oceanics, the lack of clear balance shows and places them in the bottom half. Team Momo, now, in the spotlight, them and the Bumblebees had a lot of trouble clearing the qualifiers, ending up with a four-way tie that they against Team Primary and the Jungle Jumpers that they barely won in the tiebreaker, they have yet to truly prove themselves.

    TEAM MOMO: 29-33-130-130: 322 POINTS

Despite a hesitant debut, Team Momo manages to break the 300 points bar and place themselves in a comfortable 6th place. Unless the Bumblebees come and snatch their spot, this should end good for them. The Bumblebees, last one to go in the gymnastics event, it is time for them to be sure this last-minute qualification was not in vain.

    BUMBLEBEES: 51-60-77-82: 270 POINTS

And that seems to be a perfectly average finish and performance, ending the event in 8th.

However, it will mean that the Minty Maniacs, with a 380, have won the first gold of the 1420 Marblympics! Raspberry Racers pick up the silver, and the Midnight Wisps the bronze and the standings are as following!

    1st. Minty Maniacs, 380,             25pts

    2nd. Raspberry Racers, 355,      20pts

    3rd. Midnight Wisps, 353,          15pts

    4th. Balls of Chaos, 337,             12pts

    5th. Crazy Cat'sEyes, 331,           11pts

    6th. Team Momo, 322,                10pts

    7th. Hazers, 320,                           9pts

    8th. Bumblebees, 270,                 8pts

    9th. Green Ducks, 268,                7pts

    10th (tied). O'Rangers, 265,        6pts

    10th (tied). Oceanics, 265,         5pts

    12th. Hornets, 264,                      4pts

    13th. Thunderbolts, 261,            3pts

    14th. Savage Speeders, 233,     2pts

    15th. Team Galactic, 191,          1pt

    16th. Mellow Yellow, 156,          0pt

THANK YOU FOR WATCHING THE 1420 MARBLE LEAGUE, AND I WILL SEE YOU ON TUESDAY

  9. Hello everybody, I'm Rick O'Shea Or-an-ger, from Mallorca Now, and the Marblympics are finally here! I am live from the Andromedome, the marblympic stadium, ready to report on all the events that will be occurring for the whole month! The country has been eagerly awaiting for this year's event, and it seems like the stadium is packed! And boy, I don't know about you, but this year's edition has some high expectations, mostly due to the sponsorship and funds from billionaire investor and philanthropist John Rolliver Indista, who has concluded a ground-breaking deal with the MLC (Marble League Committee)

Of course, John Rolliver isn't the only celebrity present at the Andromedome, as the presence of Nico Unordille Rojrol, our head of state, King Stardust of Tegal and the entirety of the MLC are also present!

Rick O'Shea Or-an-ger returns on screen

Now, the opening ceremony will be happening in a few minutes, meaning, I am going to have to go to my reporter booth, between Greg Woods Shinswe, the official commentator of the Marblympics, and Dan Orboole Oceic, my hated rival from The Marble Report, so I will see you in a moment!

  10. MALLORCAN DELEGATION ENDS THE OLYMPICS IN STYLE.

Ladies and gentlemen, what a heart-pounding week this has been! At Saint-Josalyn, we have seen thrilling bursts of excitement, fast-paced events, close finishes, victory and defeat, and in the end, marble Mallorca departs with a grand total of 10 medals! (4 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze)! So, without further a do, I say we look at all the events and mishaps that happened during the fantastic week!

    DAY ONE

Day one will be reminded by its incredible opening ceremony, other than Mallorca's incredibly spheric ceremony, so many events are to be remembered I don't even have time to name them all, yet my personal favorites would be Prince Marcarius triumphant arrival, Zoran's opening ceremony, that one could call "explosive" and finally Novasamita's infamous release of chickens upon their arrival! However, an opening ceremony is but a fraction of what happened at the olympics, now on with the events! The games started off with the 4x200 medley swim, where the Mallorcan team, composed of Rapidly Savsped, Choc Choclatè, Wospy Midwisia and Kinnowin Or-An-Ger, successfully qualified for the final and, although, they might only have achieved 5th place, what truly was remembered there was the cooperation between two rival athletes of two rival states: Kinnowin and Rapidly. Though Hop Jujum only got 15th in Archery, he probably will be seeking for redemption in the Marblympics 1420, which, however, will not be the case of Blizzard Gligali, who had announced its retirement in 1418 but had come back only for the olympics. Alongside Blizzard, on the other hand, was Smoggy Hazeren, who we could call the biggest disappointment of the games, who arrived 33rd out or 34, in the 400 meter run. It does seem like running events was not our team's strongest fit as Spade Blaja also, failed to notice himself with his 15th place in the 1500 meter. One athlete, however, did gain attention after his 6th place in the Canoe Slalom, Mallard Greduci, who will be competing in the ML alongside the other Green Ducks members.Meanwhile in Badminton, Echo and Fearo Teplas cruised their way through the first two round of badminton doubles unopposed.

    DAY TWO

The second day of the olympics started with a sense of disappointment due to Rojodos Rojrol missing the high jump final by only one spot. This disappointment was further amplified when Bombay Greduci obtained the dreaded 4th spot in the one-person dinghy race. However, this culminating sense of "MAM isn't gonna win any medals" was washed away when Echo and Fearo stepped on the second step of the podium, thus gaining Mallorca their first medal of the game.

    DAY THREE

Day three and four was the start of a new turn for the Mallorcan team, with the arrival on the field of Mallorca's most competent athletes as well as, of course, the arrival of Mallorca's leader, Nico Unordille, in the fencing event. The fencing event also saw the first-round defeat of Mandarin Or-An-Ger by none other than Glen Woods, who appeared to be the most competent athlete in fencing (at would later gain silver) whereas Unordille won all three matches, propulsing him into the semi-finals, three rounds further than anyone expected for someone who's full-time job is sitting in a parliament and making speeches. Finally, the arrival of Roy Rasprec, winner of the 1419 Marblelympics, along with Taffy Jabreku, into the semifinals of Tennis doubles revived the hope of Mallorcans in their national team.

    DAY FOUR

Day four is the day with the most medals gained, with 40% of the total medals earned at the halfway mark of the olympics. However, if the day had been the same as how it started, it probably wouldn't be the case. With the disappointing finishes of Yelley Meyella (3 meter springboard diving-13th), the unfortunate 5th place in the 4x100 relay and the double defeats of Spade Blaja and Quickly Savsped in the marathon, the medal count on day 4 was looking pretty dire. However, the whole situation shifted when the long jump started, with Cocoa Choclatè and Wospy Midwisia (ML 1418 winner) respectively gained silver and bronze, with Cocoa missing gold by only 0.02 m! (Bolty Thubol was also there but he got 16th so F). Mallorca's next surprise was in fencing, where underdog/head of state Nico Unordille gaining the first gold of the games in an action-packed final against none other than Glen Woods, who had notoriously defeated Mandarin the day before, after an incredible comeback in the fencing final (3-6 ---> 8-7)! Mallorca's 4th medal came in the colour of bronze after our beloved tennis double crushed T&C's tennis double in the game for third place. Also, despite not winning any medals, the performances of Clutter Baocao and Tangerin Or-An-Ger is truly one to be remembered.

    DAY FIVE

When come to think of it, day five was quite similar to day four, if only you replace the head of state winning a medal by a criminal condemned to 12 years in prison winning one (we'll come to that later). Day five, just like the day before started in disappointments, with (another) defeat of Yelley Meyella as well as the 5th place of Shore Oceic in the 10m diving platform, losing at the gates of the podium. But the disappointment did not stop there, after the14th place of Choc Choclatè in the 10k swim, the second medaless top five of the Green Ducks in the Canoeing 2-person 1000m sprint and the 5th place of Foggy Hazeren in the hurdles, it seemed like to morale and fate rested on three of the top athletes in the country: Starry Tegal, the literal face of Marble Sports in Mallorca, had gained the most points in ML 1417 by 20pts and still is in the top 3 for points gained all ML combined, Wuspy Midwisia, part of the Midnight Wisps, who emerged victors of the ML 1418 after an unthinkable comeback and Razzy Rasprec, were now side by side in the hurdles starting bloc. When seeing them together is when I realised: Mallorca had not given up yet. If it wasn't for Will Nankov (HEJ), they would have won the top three slots in the heat, yet what truly was marking was Starry's sub-13 seconds performance, giving him, after he had only gotten fifth in the 4x100m relay, an uncontested gold. The final medalist on day 5 was not the one people expected, out of the dozens of athlete present in Saint-Josalyn, no one probably expected the orchestrer of the largest digital robbery in the West Pacific's history, yet this is what happened after Vespa Horne, who had single-handedly hacked the 5 largest banks in Marble Mallorca, and was sentenced to 12 years (abbreviated to 10) in 1409, to win bronze in the Javelin throw, just goes to show you anything can happen in the olympics...

Be reassured Vespa was kept under strict surveillance by police officers during her stay Reçueçn, and kept away from any digital devices, yet still managed to hack the Reçueçn government website with the help of the connected device that was used to release the marble during the opening ceremony, and was noticed right afterwards, no harm was done.

    DAY SIX

The sixth day of the olympics saw to medals be added to the Mallorcan collection, we could only mention these two, but we wouldn't be Mallorca's top news source if we didn't go over every single one of them. The day started off with Choc's (third) defeat in the 1500m freestyle swim followed by Choc's (fourth) defeat in the 200m backstroke swim, but that time at least, Wospy Midwisia (ML 1418 champion) and Kinnowin Or-An-Ger (ML 1417 champion, second most points won in the ML) made it to the final, where Wospy swam to second, only behind Selu Quidedaduya from Zoran, this was then followed with the performance of Mallorca's youngest athlete Cruch Turslid, who made it to the second phase of hammer throwing only at 18 years old! However, with only a handful of events remaining and "only" seven medals to their name, the Mallorcan team was starting to get desperate to achieve their goal of 10 medals and needed a gold to go up in the standings, and this time, help would come from where it was needed most: on their fourth attempt, and with the team finally assembled and complete, the Green Ducks boating team launched itself against the event that made its reputation: the Rowing coxless fours. After what one could call a hesitant start, the green ducks sailed to victory in rowing, by winning the third gold of the competitions!

    DAY SEVEN

Day seven, however was another day without a medal, and since we are getting very short on time to film this I will do this quickly. The 200m freestyle swim having Quacky Greduci and Hazzy Hazeren qualifying but failing to get a medal while Rapidly Savsped and-

    Stops speaking

    Looks at script

    Looks at camera

GOD DAMN IT CHOC HOW MANY TIMES ARE YOU GOING TO FAIL IN THESE OLYMPICS, I SWEAR TO GOD...HOW DID YOU EVEN GET SELECTED FOR ALL OF THESE I CANT EVEN...

    Camera cuts

Ahem, please excuse me for my sudden burst. Anyways, moving on, we then had Ducky Greduci go up on the rowing single sculls, yet it appears it is only united that the Green Ducks reach their full potential as he ended up 19th. Finally, in the last two events for Mallorca that day, both fighting events, Tumult Baocao and Diego Indista sure did put up an excellent performance. However, only Diego managed to pass the the quarter finals.

    DAY EIGHT

In the olympics penultimate day, Yellup Meyella represented our national colours in the final water event, the incredibly complex 200m butterfly swim. Sadly, he missed the finals by only one spot and a mere 5 hundreds of a second. This was the final straw for the Mallorcan team, they were still missing one medal to achieve their goal and Vespa was still in custody due to het hacking of the governmental website. With only four disciplines left for them and only two were they really stood a chance, every athlete gathered to watch the most emblematic event of the olympics: the 100m. Mallorca had gone all in for the event and sent four athletes for the races: Greeneye Craceye, Smoggy Hazeren, Yellah Meyella and Quickly Savsped (ML 1416 champion). In heat 2, Greeneye got 3rd while Smoggy placed dead last, none of those were enouhgh to make it to the final. Meanwhile in heat 3, Yellah ended 5th. Quickly, however, dashed to the finish line, over taking Kyle Senning (NTA) and James Bolt (LXA) by one hundredth of a second each, placing him in second and giving him the seventh out of 10 qualifying spots. Now alone in the final, Quickly had to do the best running of his life to win a medal. During the race, him and Venuska Benesch (TLN) drifted in front of the other 8 runners (who all ended within a tenth of a second of each other). However, the gold medal was up in the air until the final five meters, where Quickly finally managed to over take Benesch and win Mallorca's tenth medal and fourth golds by 4 hundreds of a second! The games were pretty much over at this point, but some performances, such as Diego Indista's 4th place in Wrestling as well as our athletes in the single tennis event : Mintyflav Minma, Roy Rasprec and Taffy Jabreku and Leap Jujum in the 10m air shooting

I would like to talk about the ML1420 coming tomorrow and how all our athletes are scrambling to get to Galactic city before it starts since approximately a third of athletes present in the ML were one continent away yesterday, sadly, my time is up for this news report, this was Rick O'Shea, for the Rollout news, until next time!

  11. MALLORCAN DELEGATION NEARS 10 MEDALS AS WE EDGE TOWARDS THE END OF THE OLYMPICS

Hello Mallorcans! As you may know the last three days of the olympics have been full of heart-felt victories, com-from-behind performances and thrilling finals, but over in Mallorca, two victories have a special place in everybody's mind! First Starry Tegal's notorious sub-13 seconds hurdle performance, giving Marble Mallorca's second gold, but also Mallorca's national boating team, the Green Ducks who, after missing the podium in the 2-person canoeing sprint by merely one spot and two tenths of a second! However, as the original team assembled for their last event, the coxless fours, the Green Ducks quacked away to victory and joined Starry as well as Unordille in the "gold medal club". Though gold medals is not everything in these olympics, and we would fail to bring you the news if we didn't mention every other medaled athlete! First off of course is Vespa Horne, who won bronze in the Javelin throw. An excellent touch for this ex-convict in a truly breath-taking performance! We then of course have Wospy Midwisia who came second in the backstroke swim only to Sell Quiddedaduya of Zoran. And finally, although he has not yet won any medal, I think we can look forward to the karate performances of Diego Indista, who is now in the semi-finals for karate, only time will tell if he gets gold or not...

This was Rick O'Shea, for Rollout news, until next time!

  12. MARBLE MALLORCA GAINS 4 MEDALS IN DAY 4 OF THE ST. JOSALYN OLYMPICS

After a hesitant first 3 days in the olympics, where the Mallorcan delegation nearly avoided failing to earn any medal thanks to the effort of Echo and Fear Teplas and their silver medal in badminton. However, the trend changed in day 4 with the arrival on the stage of Mallorca's most competent athletes as well as the surprising victory of our own head of state, Unordille, in fencing. What we could call "The Marble Counter-Attack" starts in the infamous high jump event, where Cocoa Choclatè and Wospy Midwisia respectively won silver and bronze in the high jump, only missing the gold medal by a 2cm average! Later that day, Unordille defeated Glen Woods (who had notably defeated Mandarin Or-an-Ger in the first round) in a close 8-7 victory in the individual foil, creating worldwide surprise as to how a head of state who had not trained in two years before the olympics had managed to achieve the highest title for fencing in TWP. Finally,  Roy Rasprec and Taffy Jabreku ended this 4th day of the olympics by winning bronze in the tennis doubles.

When interviewed, Nico Unordille was quite happy concerning  his victory and jokingly affirmed "I now know what I'll be doing in my retirement!"

This was Rick O'Shea, for the Rollout news, until next time!

  13. MALLORCAN DELEGATION ATTENDS THE SAINT-JOSALYN OPENING CEREMONY WITH STYLE

Hello Mallorcans, this is Rick O'Shea for Rollout news

Yesterday evening, the Mallorcan olympic team arrived to the Olympic stadium to perform their opening ceremony in style. Wether it was the 49 individual athletes and 6 official Marble Mallorcan teams arriving simultaneously or the 40 000 marbles released on the ramp right before their entrance, that evening will surely be one to remember! Of course, the greatest names of Mallorcan sports are all assembled in Saint-Josalyn for a week of different sports from all categories! Among the most famous marbles present we of course have the national football team, who was defeated in the round of 16 in their latest football competition who would expect to achieve redemption this week, Yellow Meyella and Kinnowin Or-An-Ger, the two athletes to have scored the most points in the Marblelympics as well as Starry Tegal, the most medalled athlete in, once again, the Marblympics. All these athletes will of course be present in this year's Marblelympics (opening ceremony the 18th of June), as last year's ML beginnings had been watched by 12 million people, it makes us wonder if the Olympics viewership will be matched or surpassed in Mallorca. Another concern: is the short lapse of time between the Olympics and the ML extenuate some athletes, only time will tell An unexpected athlete has also showed up for the olympics: none other than the head of state of the Spheric Marble Mallorcan Republic: the representative chancellor himself: Nico Unordille! Few people know this but before going into politics, he had won the Rojrol Fencing Cup (RFC) and will be competing alongside Mandarin Or-An-Ger in the individual foil. With such a platter of promising athletes, we can hope to be bringing back several medals in these olympics with 8 medals being handed out today!
