Region Inc is withdrawing, and the NSR Secretary of Defense, Shadowtech has had to resign as a result (he's from Region Inc).

Heretics (RMB Spammers, trolls, anyone that says anything back about TWP or the Delegate....) may face the wrath of The Inquisitor who is charged with maintaining the purity of heart of the region.... (think RP)

The Pacific once had the Ordo Hereticus. Heretics from ingame (often RMB spammers) would be put on trial, and their 'god' was ADMIN (NS Adminstration).

Quite alright, I've talked to him and to Yy about it, but made no annoucement yet. I need to talk to him again anyway. If the legal/law/judiciary side interests you, we can see about getting you involved there. But it's usually a position for long time player to hang around and have a title while only having to do something once a year or so. Unless we have some Nazi show trials.......or have the Judiciary also be our State Religion (which can also be interesting).

I've never been interested in the NS forum. But then, I remember it from the pre-Jolt days when it would take 20 minutes to load a thread.

Yeah, if we get to the point where we have that level of participation, it's certainly something to consider.

I like having it as the 'lead' of the Cultural forums. The Department Head/Secretary/Minister can serve as Moderator of those forums, and can be responsible for organizing and maintaining games/events/role plays. Although some regions have separate individuals that maintain the Role Plays. While we have no need for recruitment to bring nations to the region, I'm interested in adding the concept of recruitment, in order to draw talented players to TWP from wherever they may be across NS.

I think the only region that I've seen have success with a Party system is 10000 Islands. Which is of course guided by it's Founder, Grub. I like the idea in concept, but agree with Dark that it isn't practical for TWP's situation.

It depends upon how the Judiciary ends up being designed, which is something we can work on. A Chief Justice is generally a Judge that leads the Judiciary. There can also be Associate Justices to create a panel of Judges. We could also have additional positions such as Prosecutor General and Public Defender. Some regions also create jury pools, usually choosen by some method from their legislature. Though any type of Judiciary needs to fit the size of the active community. It's also usually a position that rarely comes into play.

I am fond of Monarchy in NS. It tends to be stable, makes room for everyone that wants a part, and can pick a direction and purpose without taking months to debate. A Constitutional Monarchy with a democratic legislature. *disclaimer: I was King of Equilism and Crimson King of the Crimson Order/TNP once upon a time, so I am biased.*

That's true, Interior is usually part of the government and often includes duties such as mentoring and recruiting. First time I served as an Interior Mininster in '04, I was also responsible for sending tg's to all inregion nations every few days to keep them up on happenings (and attempt to lure more of them to the forum). Sure wish we had mass tg's back then
