The Galactic Order is a Raider Region with a strong hand in government and role-play through the leadership of our Sovereign, Empress Rachael Arche-VerinGuard and with the help of her husband, Emperor William VerinGuard. After a solid month and a half of regional instability in leadership, The Galactic Order is finally taking steps in the right direction. The Galactic Order contains an elected Senate, where citizens who are elected my submit and discuss legislation on the forum. The Galactic Order contains a Moff Council which oversees the executive government through appointing ambassadors, recruiters, integrators, creates role-plays, and any recreational regional activities. The Galactic Order contains three justices who oversee the Judiciary Branch. The Galactic Order contains a Royal Family which is the House of Arche. Below is a detailed rundown of what all has happened since the abdication of Emperor Scott VerinGuard at the end of November. Future updates will not be as detailed unless a request is submitted to the Grand Moff for more information. All questions and concerns should be directed to the Grand Moff AND the Sovereign.

UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF THE SOVEREIGN

November 29, 2017
The abdication of Emperor Scott VerinGuard. Emperor Ren VerinGuard ascended the throne with Empress Bunny VerinGuard at his side. Crown Princess Rachael Arche-VerinGuard as his successor.
December 2, 2017
Emperor Ren saw it in the best interest of the region to take an indefinite Leave of Absence. Empress Bunny VerinGuard became temporary Sovereign.
December 14-18, 2017
Empress Bunny VerinGuard takes a private Leave of Absence, leaving Crown Princess Rachael Arche-VerinGuard to oversee the region until the Empress returns. There is no public record of this on our forum and it was widely unknown to the majority of the region.
December 19, 2017
Discussion of what the region to do in the event Empress Bunny VerinGuard does not return. Between this date and December 23, 2017, Empress Bunny Veringuard deleted her forum account and moved her main nation out of the Galactic Order. Rumors began from those who knew her outside of TGO that the Empress had quit NationStates entirely.

After many discussions where all options were discussed as to what to do without the Empress present, the region's current leaders and advisors to the Empress collectively decided that it should be assumed that our Empress abdicated the throne, which made Crown Princess Rachael Arche-VerinGuard the new Sovereign of The Galactic Order. 
Empress Rachael Arche-VerinGuard ascended the throne with Emperor William VerinGuard by her side and Crown Prince Smith Liam VerinGuard as her successor.

Empress Rachael Arche-VerinGuard is currently on a Leave of Absence. She has appointed her Successor, Crown Prince Smith Liam VerinGuard, as Regent until her return on January 13th, 2018.

Smith VerinGuard resigned as Grand Moff and appointed Lady Madeline VerinGuard to serve as Grand Moff until the election for the next Grand Moff would occur.

Emperor William VerinGuard resigned as Chancellor and opened the floor for declarations for Chancellor.
December 27, 2017 - December 28, 2017
Elections for Chancellor occurred with Rikki Arche rising as the victor. 
December 31, 2017 - January 1, 2018
Elections for Grand Moff occurred with Lady Madeline VerinGuard rising as the victor.

Grand Moff Smith VerinGuard appointed Lady Madeline VerinGuard as Moff of Propaganda, replacing Darth Einas of Bespin.
December 31, 2017
In accordance with the new constitution, Moff of Propaganda was renamed to Moff of Recruitment.
January 1, 2018
Grand Moff Madeline VerinGuard removed Farlandiay as Moff of External Affairs and oversees the department herself.
January 4, 2018
The Moff of Culture announced the new regional role-play to take place in the designated discord. A second role-play was announced privately to be in the works to take place on the forum. All previous regional role-plays were scrapped in order to unify the role-players of the region. An interregional role-play still exists.
January 5, 2018
Integration applications were reopened with an updated application to account for integration through the NationStates site. All previous integrators were required to reapply in order to allow for consistency in all positions.

December 28, 2017
Grand Moff Madeline VerinGuard submitted the appointment of Vac Mercer and Lord Caesar VerinGuard as Justices for the Senate to approve.
December 29, 2017
Supreme Justice Darth Leopold Arche resigned.
December 30, 2017
Vac Mercer and Lord Caesar VerinGuard were appointed the Justices of the Galactic Order.
Zaphkael Frostguard was appointed the Supreme Justice of the Galactic Order.

UPDATE ON THE SENATE

January 1, 2017
Supreme Chancellor Rikki Arche placed all legislation on HOLD until the election of a proper Senate occurred in accordance with the Constitution. Several threads were opened in order to address missing information within the Constitution and suggest amendments to rectify the problems.
A thread was opened on the forum for citizens interested in running for the Senate to declare and post platforms.
January 4, 2017
Elections for the Senate to fill in 4 of 5 available seats opened.
January 7, 2018
Elections for the Senate concluded where Howard, Lord Caesar VerinGuard, Princess Amber VerinGuard, and Darth Eilnas of Bespin along with their Supreme Chancellor Rikki Arche became the official Senators of the Galactic Order to submit and pass legislation.
January 8, 2018
The Senate opened a poll to gain opinions on the new Court Procedure.

Voting began on which Constitution would become official in the eyes of The Galactic Order.

Vote closed on the Constitution and the new Constitution became the one submitted by Farlandiay.
January 1, 2018 - Present
Discussion on amendments for the Constitution and potential Acts in addition to amendments began. Many discussions include the recognition and legalization of the regional military, regional security bureau, Grand Moff as holder of Delegate, Sith Cults, and more to come!

The Galactic Order is a Raider Region with a strong hand in government and role-play through the leadership of our Sovereign, Empress Rachael Arche-VerinGuard and with the help of her husband, Emperor William VerinGuard. The past month has been rather successful for the region of The Galactic Order. With the last remnants of recruited inactive nations of the past CTEing, The Galactic Order has stood strong at between 245 and 255 nations and more active than it has ever been before!

 

 

UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF THE SOVEREIGN

 

The Sovereign took a short Leave of Absence at the beginning of the month to allow for personal life to become less hectic and allow for the Crown Prince and future Sovereign of The Galactic Order a taste of what it feels to be involved in a region as the leader.

The Administrative Council was formed in accordance with the Constitution. The Council is made up of 5 individuals chosen by the Sovereign to handle logistics concerning methods of communication across all platforms in relation to The Galactic Order. The Administrative Council has since the formation updated the regional forum to allow for better use of the forum to encourage both citizens and visitors to get involved in the region! A header for the forum is in the works and should be completed soon to allow for even quicker access to all the important documents and information regarding The Galactic Order!

 

 

UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF THE GOVERNMENT

 

Over the past month, two Senators have resigned due to personal reasons. The first resigned two weeks ago and since then has been replaced. The second resigned February 1st. The declaring period and the campaigning period for a replacement has begun! All legislation within the Senate able to be put to a vote has been suspended until a fifth seat is decided upon.

The Moff Council has been completed with a Moff of External Affairs, Lord Caesar VerinGuard, and Moff of Recruitment, Sir Pigwig, both being appointed by the Grand Moff. The Moff Council compiled and finalized new policies for embassies to ensure prosperous interregional work. The Moff of Culture has taken a Leave of Absence and it is unknown as to when he shall return. The Council is handling the affairs of Culture until a proper replacement is declared.

Supreme Justice Zaphkael took a Leave of Absence and returns February 5th.

 

 

UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF THE MILITARY

The Galactic Navy was renamed to The Imperial Fleet to fit lore purposes of The Galactic Order.

Grand Admiral Florida handed in his resignation and was then replaced by Grand Admiral Naj. The Grand Admiral, with assistance from Officers and Troopers, will begin small ops to assist in brushing everyone up on the basics of raiding so that we may begin our own operations to invite our allies to join us in participating in. The Imperial Fleet and Empress wish to express extreme gratitude to their allies for allowing members of the military to participate in operations.

After a rather eventful week, The Galactic Order has officially banned a member of her community.

 

Howard, formerly known as Howard Arche-VerinHall, was officially banned from The Galactic Order and all her colonies on the morning of February 25, 2018.

This ban followed many other bans from both the family of Arche and the family of VerinGuard.

Howard was accused of proxy and fraud. Fraud being the  intentional deception of a resident or citizen either by lying or lying by omission made for personal benefit or slander. Proxy being using a proxy server to allow a member multiple accounts or for any other malicious gain.

Both of these accounts were supported by screenshots gathered from a discord server known as “The Galactic Faggots” from a channel known as “TGO-intel” where individuals would allegedly talk about things which happen in TGO, which is a direct violation of our criminal code which protects the business of the region from being discussed without explicit permission from the authors of said information.

 

Before the ending of the opening statements, the Administrative Council was informed that Howard had directed transphobic rhetoric at a member of our community in direct messages, using the citizen’s birth name which Howard had complete knowledge that the citizen had great detest for this name. In response, the Administrative Council issued a banishment which entailed banning from any and all regional and TGO affiliated discord servers.

Following his banishment, Howard rescinded his citizenship and proceeded to plead guilty to the charges.

Supreme Justice Zaph, who resided over the case, issued the court’s deliberation earlier this morning.

The ruling is as follows:

 

“Today, we will judge the actions of the Defendant, Howard.

 

Reasoning of the Court

 

The evidence shows that the Defendant himself claimed to have multiple accounts within TGO at the same time, in specific one that was administratively banned for spamming, breach of peace and breach of Discord ToS. The evidence also provides proof that the Defendant falsified quotes of certain citizens, making it seem as if they had said things they never said. The Defendant has admitted to these crimes by pleading guilty.

 

Ruling

After consulting with my colleagues on the court in accordance with the Court Procedures, I hereby declare the Defendant guilty of Proxying and Fraud.

 

Punishment

The Defendant is hereby sentenced to serve a permanent ban from the region, as well as all its affiliated forums and Discord servers.

It is so ordered.

Administrative Banishment of Howard Arche-VerinHall

“On February 22, 2018, at 5:30pm EST, the Admin Council received images from Supreme Chancellor Rikki Arche. In these images Mr. VerinHall was harassing Rikki.

It first started with Howard attacking Rikki out of the blue, though by the end of the conversation Howard was spamming Rikki with her IRL birth name, Todd. Rikki Arche is a member of the LGBT+, being transgender. Howard knows this, and decided to use this to his advantage to upset and belittle Rikki.

With four Ayes from the Admin Council, two members not online to vote, the Admin Council hereby bans Howard from communications of the The Galactic Order and her colonies. This banishment is permanent.

Thus Howard was banned permanently from The Galactic Order and all her colonies including the forum and subsequent discord servers. Thus it has been ordered. If Howard resides in any of your regions and/or Discord servers, The Galactic Order strongly suggests to either proceed with extreme caution, or to take immediate action and remove him.
