Atlae Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Whenever I make a new edition of TWPAF Today, (http://www.westpacific.org/forums/index.php?/topic/2341-twpaf-today/) there's always the inevitable. I used quotes to put the text in in the first post, but in the rest, I use spoilers. In both cases, if I change tabs or do something and have to click back in the spoiler, it freezes. In the last post of TWPAF Today, I had to reload 5 times. Is this a problem with Invision or is it something else?
Adorable Davelands Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 I tried to recreate it but failed. I even edited your original posts to check. Using Chrome 59 and Internet Explorer 11.413 on Windows 10.
Atlae Posted July 8, 2017 Author Posted July 8, 2017 I'm using a Chromebook, so maybe Chrome OS is doing something to it.
Winnipeg Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I tried it on Firefox 54.0.1 and I could not recreate it either...I have access to Chromebooks at work, so I can take a looksee when I'm back in the office on Monday. I'd be really surprised if something as simple as hiding/unhiding a DOM object would slow down the browser though...
