    9. World Assembly Affairs Ministry will maintain a presence in the on-site World Assembly forum and off-site TWP forum presenting relevant information to the citizens of The West Pacific. The WA Affairs Minister will be required to present their opinions on all GA and SA resolutions and poll residents to get suggestions as to how the Delegate should vote on resolutions.  This should be completed in the off-site forum before the proposal reaches the floor for voting in the WA.

The bolding is mine. As this section is obviously of some interest to me, I'm curious as to what the bolded bit actually entails.

Also, there's nothing in this document specifying that no marsupial shall be a citizen of TWP, so it's a thumbs-down. :P

This looks like another attempt at the Right To Lifers to impose their beliefs on NS as a whole. There was recently a proposal banning abortion (without explicitly saying that of course) that made it to a vote.

If you're referring to Protection of the Partially Born, that didn't criminalise abortion. It couldn't have even if it wanted to as it would have been ruled illegal for contradiction. The only reason people assumed that it banned abortion was that it was written by a member of Right to Life.

Anyway, I am indeed using this proposal as a weapon. You see, Imperium Anglorum intends to repeal the current NatSov resolution in favour of a replacement which forces nations to legalise euthanasia. The tactic I'm utilising is cynical, but if it protects national sovereignty then so be it.

Typically I believe that every repeal should be voted for and every bill be voted down.

I understand your position, but surely you'd oppose the repeal of a bill which explicitly protects national sovereignty?

if this is to be the replacement for the repeal that is currently being debated, I would have to vehemently oppose the repeal as well, so that this proposal could never make it past the drafting stage.

That is indeed the intended reaction. Out of all the GA regulars, Separatist Peoples is the only one so far who has picked up on what it is I'm trying to do.

  3. AndyNS has failed to respond to multiple messages for a considerable time. As such, I believe that he has gone inactive, and as such it appears that he is no longer capable of handling TWP's map.

In case you weren't aware, their in-game nation is now banned from TWP. That probably explains it.

  4. I particularly wow'd at this part of it "By calling me Glory, you hereby acknowledge that this nation is not liable for any temporary or permanent inconvenience which should occur as a result of doing so. Any partaking of this activity should be done at your own risk."

    So. Much. Violence. Promised.

    Lol!

Better get used to it, then, because it's in my signature!

  5. Hello! My nation is States of Glory, also known as SoG or SoGgy (but not Glory*). I've been in TWP since this nation was founded, but only now have I signed up for the offsite forums in order to interact better with the region. I'm strongly anti-marsupial and strongly in support of public awareness of bagel-flavoured doughnuts. I hope to have a fun time on the forums!
