  1. What if I start a separate government tomorrow ? And I appoint Punk Daddy Prime Minister. Shall the Prime Minister of my government also be given a Guardianship ingame in addition to the Prime Minister of this government ? It would be absurd.

The difference being that you created that government unilaterally, whereas these forums are the official government-sanctioned ones.
  2. I like this. I already planned to do something like this after the PM elections. One thing: keep the name PM. Remember that the PM is also head of the Executive Council and Head of Government in TWP. The term "Speaker" hardly conveys most of what he does.

Apart from that, however, I support this. It would simplify and consolidate the laws governing our administration.

I understand that, Dark. I’m not suggesting we copy/paste stuff from other Constitutions, be it from other regions or RL countries. If anything I said gave that impression, I apologize for the misunderstanding.

What I am suggesting is that we include constitutional norms regulating these matters. Like you said, the only rule for citizenship is residency, so including an article/section/whatever stating something along the lines of “Any nation that resides in the West Pacific shall be automatically granted citizenship, and shall only have it revoked when they cease to reside in the region” would be a good idea, in my opinion. Adding restrictions to constitutional amendments could make it hard, or even impossible, to change the system of citizenship acquisition, thus ensuring all nation are treated equally.

    This isn't a constitution. It's a normal law.
  3. do you think the Prime Minister should have any role game wise?

Yes. The Prime Minister must serve as the Forum's ambassador, so to speak, to the in-game: Helping the delegate to understand the interests of the forums and building closer ties between the two.

How should a Prime Minister behave if things don't go his way?

Not quite sure what you're asking by that.

I disagree that the PM should be a guardian. The system works because of loyalty regardless of forum position. Forum position should NEVER be linked to in-game position.

Perhaps, if that's what you believe. I can hardly force you to pick a specific person as Guardian; however, I believe that it would be a good idea for the Delegate to allow the PM to exceed the endorsement cap.

  5. It doesn't work that way. Either vote or not vote. There are no "conditional" votes. Your disregard for the law is getting old and boring. Is that how you pretend to grow the region?

... That sounds like it's honestly at least a bit of an overreaction. <.<

But fine. Seeing as how you seem to have no moral qualms with voting for yourself, you've forced me to do the same. I gave you my trust last time, and we all saw how it turned out.

    Llamas.

  6. It is curious that only since Lazarus has fallen this comes out about AMOM not being a Senator.

If this had come out when AMOM made his announcement, there'd probably be a little more credibility to this.

    This... Changes quite a bit.

he wasn't in the WFE was he?

No, but he was mentioned in a dispatch by Feux (Who was both a Senator and the Regent at the time) as being a Senator.

  7. I second.

I believe TWP has maintained a good relationship with The Pacific for a long time now and personally do not wish to see that thrown away over what some in the NPO are calling an overreach by certain parties and a blatant clusterf*ck by others.

And this is why we need to push with the closure of embassies. We're not planning on closing them forever, just as a temporary retaliatory measure to show them we mean business. If we put the pressure on the Pacific by showing that this pointless belligerence will cause them to lose allies, we can force them to issue a formal apology and a written promise never to attempt to subvert another GCR's sovereignty again. After that is done, not before, we will reopen embassies.

  8. I'm with Vlagh on this one. Nothing sucks the fun out of the game faster than moralizing.

Just something I want to say: Don't confuse basic politeness and respect for other people and their regions with moralizing. Ike's not trying to act better than you or being too uptight about a game; he's not being a Unibot-like figure and preaching about a narrow worldview while condemning those who don't follow it. He's just pointing out that taking over a region, destroying its culture, and banning residents at random is just being a bit of a douchebag. He won't suffer eternal damnation (Although I'm sure some defenders will disagree with me :P), but it's rude and fails to take other people's desires into account.
