Nuke proof??? ( PS. When did the word grow from Nuc to Nuke?) RIGHT! I would like to post some RP ideas, but would like more guidance before I jump in and step on anyone's toes by accident? But it is technically true! People who are forced to work with out remuneration are defined as slaves. When we force people to be responsible for their mistakes, they tend to make fewer of them. The other thing is that we only do that to people who are "Chronically" irresponsible and or commit serious crimes. Violent felons are enslaved and kept from society until they prove beyond all doubt that they have been rehabilitated. People who commit murder are never returned to open society. People who have made small mistakes can repay the money while working as they always have, but may have their wages garnisheed, are not slaves. It all boils down to personal responsibility. By using the right word, we attach shame and derision to that class of people and that gives rational people a cause not to go there.

We are a Laissez Faire Capitalist and 93% semi-homogeneous Religious Nation living by The Rule of Law, which are few but strict. The laws are uniformly enforced against all offenders regardless of status. There are no laws against the practice of any, or no religion except as it relates to the behavior of it's members and their dealing with non-members which are uniform to all members of our society. All laws are applicable to all people inside our boarder, or from our Nation outside of it's boarders. They must act there as they would here. There are five classes of people living in our Nation as follows; The Nobility. Citizens who have demonstrated through their deeds and courage the qualities of leadership necessary to defend society and hold leadership positions, or sit in the Senate. ( The uppermost House of the Congress. They have no term limits, but are subject to instantaneous recall.) The Citizens. People who have demonstrated through their deeds and courage the qualities necessary to be Citizens, have the right to vote and hold public office such as being elected to the Peoples Congresses, or holding Government jobs. (Citizens are required to own and carry weapons at all times so that they may protect themselves and the society at large. They are limited to a single term in any office. Government jobs are temporary and pay no more than 80% of the society's median income.) The Civilians. People who have proven that they can take care of themselves and pay their taxes, but have not earned the right to vote, or hold public office. ( They are also required to own and carry arms at all times.) The Freemen. Immigrants and people who's ancestors were not born here, or have not yet earned entry into one of the above classes, or who are temporary workers and intend to return to their Native Countries. (They may not own or carry arms at any time and are subject to all laws as any other member of society.) The Slaves. People who through their actions, or lack of same have demonstrated that they can not take care of themselves, or who have committed crimes and are required to work with out remuneration in order make restitution, or repay society for their damages, up keep, and incarceration. It is possible for people handicapped by defect, or upbringing and non-violent felonious criminals to earn their way out of this strata of society. ( They may not own or possess arms of any kind at any time.) There is free movement between all of these classes with the exception of Criminal Slaves convicted of crimes of violence. Criminals convicted of crimes less severe than Murder may be pardoned under some circumstances. We have a simple Income Tax System with one rate of only 8% for the top 90% of all members of our society and a graduated rate for the bottom 10% of earners that varies from 7.75% to 1%. Those who are not capable of earning their keep must be cared for by relatives, or are institutionalized if their families are not able to care for them. Our society does not abandon anyone, or have capital punishment because we hold life sacred from conception. Our pledge of allegiance; "I ( state your name) pledge allegiance to Life, liberty, the rule of law and the American way. Furthermore, I promise to be honest, kind, loyal and to oppose evil where ever I may find it. So help me God!" Our laws are very simple and codify how we behave and treat each other, but are other wise very Libertarian in nature. We distinguish between crimes of property and violence. Crimes of property are punishable by forced restitution and crimes of violence are punished by incarceration and the infliction of temporary and non-damaging pain proportional to that committed by the offender. The length of sentence is proportional to the crime with murderers serving life sentences without possibility of parole. Less than one half percent of the Government's income is spent on administration and all the rest is spent on defense. The Government earns 64% of the budget with taxes and the rest by licensing it's original owned patents and discoveries to Citizens, Civilians and Corporations with head quarters located in this Nation. There is no Corporate tax of any kind and the taxation drain on economy is less than 8%. This leads to one of, if not the, highest annual growth rate of GDP on the planet. Our military is the ultimate meritocracy in that all entrants are required to start at the bottom and promotion is based on performance alone. It is equipped with the best technology and weapons we can field. Any resident of our Nation has the legal right to serve in the Military. Successful completion of at least 10 years of service grants Citizenship. The only mission of the military is to secure our boarders and protect our National interests abroad. Our education system is the finest on the planet because it is controlled and paid for by the individuals who use it, or their parents. People who qualify by test scores, but are too poor to afford the best schools can get inexpensive loans from the Government, or many other institutions to attend those schools. Because any student can go to any school basted strictly on their own merit, regardless of their class or financial status, schools are forced to compete for students buy offering the best teachers and class experience they can. This also drives costs down and profits up as those who do not want to go and do their best, need not spend the money. Because the schools are a "For Profit Company" they must take any student who can qualify. Some schools will take any student who can pay, regardless of their test scores, but are entitled to all of the financial privileges above. Because the growth rate of the GDP is so high, Corporations are forced to pay good wages, commissions, or piece work because there are not enough workers to go around. Corporations founded in this Nation are required to hire Citizens, Civilians, Legal Resident Freeman and Slaves before they can apply to issue a visa to hire an immigrant. The Government uses floating quotas to restrict the number of Visas to as many as possible with out lowering the average wage below the 110% level of the average of above median foreign industrialized nations. Because of the easy mobility between classes, each person can set their own goals and is limited only by their ambition, discipline, dedication and knowledge. This makes our Nation very rich and prosperous, and a goal to aspire to and the liberal immigration policies make it easy to achieve. We try to be the shinning light of freedom to this world. The Government prints and controls money and it's supply to eliminate inflation and promote growth in the civilian sector.

When I filled out the starting pages, some of the choices were not relevant to my Nation. How do we get more choices and how are they graded to determine starting size etc. It seems to me that the range of choices is slanted towards the left, i.e., in that there are more choices/questions with a liberal slant than a conservative slant and most of the questions/choices have no far right wing choices at all? In addition, there are no questions that grade a Nations "Morality" which would also affect crime and other stats as well. I would suggest that each category of choice be a range of choices with nine answers, with the middle one neutral and four choices on either side that get more liberal on the left side and more conservative on the right side, the farther from the middle you go? Each division/answer would be weighted to affect your Nation along Historical curves and future growth would be modeled on those same historical curves. Finally, I need to know where to post part of my Nation's back-story?
