    Hello to TWP!

    I am here to give you an update on the STU. We have begun our second People's Tribune Elections as our first tribune reaches the end of their term. In addition, we have begun a government staff recruitment drive in response to the recent influx of players (the number of STU members doubled in just over a day). Our hope is that by reaching out to new players, we will be able to show them how to become better involved the community, thus encouraging them to continue with NS and the region.

    Hello to TWP!

    As our first official post to this embassy, we would like to provide a formal introduction of our region and its beliefs.

    The STU is a technocratic/meritocratic region which believes in the rule of the qualified and competent, over the rule of those merely popular enough to take victory in elections. Of course, we share this belief and culture with TWP, hence our interest in building ties.

    The STU was founded by Josh (Imperium of Josh/Technocratic Founder) partially to raise awareness of the real world ideological positions technocracy encompasses and enhances, and partially to provide a unique space within the game offering a meritocratic outlook as its primary driving force in IC policy, foreign and internal. The STU is presently not aligned militarily with any ideology, though it has generally raider leaning membership.
