If you are seriously considering the idea of expansion, then be prepared to write a really detailed and well written storyline, with the reasons about the expansion, the costs to your nation and so on. It's also subject to approval by Loremasters of course. What I usually say in these cases is to remember that roleplay isn't about having more pixels on the map or a bigger number in the Big Book of Numbers, but to have fun storytelling, both on your own and as a community.
