  1. When I was in other regions we didn't like to send a long Telegram, the newcomer would end up taking one look at it and just join any random region that they thought would suffice their needs. From learning from my past judgements in joining a region, it was never about the telegram, it was about the personal touch to interaction in gathering my feel for what they wanted of me. 'Join and become a Senator' helped a little to 'Join and we'll train you up to become a member in charge of a squadron' its basic from the start to finish to the hi, to the ending of these telegrams. But whatever you do, keep it short.

  2. Delegate Westwind,

I find it that we should host more interregional events and thus boosting international recognition that TWP once more is a feeder and is back to play business.

These events could lead to further improvements, investment in both us and those regions. I am perhaps speaking from a Deputy position when I ask this but, do you think we could get you to start to get the ball rolling in a co-operative Intelligence movement being regions? It'd make a job a lot easier in the sense of Intelligence Swaps, bargain with the allies and then infiltrate the enemy.

    Something to spur the movement.

  3. Well when I graduate and serve my traineeship as a Lawyer I'll make sure to take into account the financial side to which my clients needs are met over the total cost of my advice. If it works then we have something to weigh, if not, then I think the total should be deducted. I am a fair man, those in the profession in America are only in it for themselves. After all, if they make programs out of it in America, then I can actually believe it couldn't be near to the truth than what it is showing. "Trial is War, Second Place is Death" for an 'Attorney' to state this and I actually believe a lot of them will also hold this belief, then that is what you'll always loose. Money.

Money means nothing when your Federal Reserve can make it out of thin air and call it a deficit.

P.s. If Eli states in reality this is what serves his observation or dealings with them, then the quote that I have hand picked out of a program could possibly be attached to real life Attorneys.

  4. I believe there was more to it than just a 'security' issue with keys. As the Manager is my Girlfriends Uncle and is somewhat a shit stirrer. So I think there is more than meets the eye to my termination. Doesn't smell like a truthful sacking if you ask me as nothing he said was confidential and was gossiped to my girlfriends mum and their mum and dad.

So i'm back to square 1 for looking for a job.

  5. Nationstates has always been, especially through issues, a randomiser. It gives a random title to what 1, 2 or 5 issues (depending on how inactive you've been) you have decided upon for your nation.

You could vote accordingly to your beliefs and could turn out a fascist bastard!

  6. Ah I see.

I have been let go from my job because of a security breach regarding keys being left in a car. I was a trainee Car Salesman in that I had to do yard starts of over 500 cars every 2 weeks. Now, if someone is going to pull you off a job that you had about 15 cars running in a line and you had to go get new mats to put in about 10. Wouldn't you forget at least once to lift the key? I did, owned up to that occasion and got the blame for the 2,3,4 times again that another guy did and I got the sack for.

Ridiculous if you ask me, just when I was about to be lifted out the tax group altogether!

  7. I know this keeps happening every so often - I should really have a page devoted to the odd occasional pop in session, but I really will try to make an increased appearance, help out where possible and post when appropriately required.

Times change, the clock ticks on and we are still here. I will always try to return to my origin in NS. I still have it bookmarked to revisit when I can. So feel privileged haha!

I like the political nature of a region, debate and structure spurs me and I will try to make 1 more body more active.

    *Waves*

Hello again all, how you's doing!

  8. Been around every sort of government there is on this game. Must admit, I preferred a Monarchy. Structure was simple, government did well and when we had people doing the duty set before them, everything ran like clockwork. Then real life set in and everything went to the dogs. We haven't the foggiest on how to turn this thing off - it's a disease.

I believe to really ramp up activity, a radial solution should take news around Nationstates to do so. Cause a rebellion, cause a dictatorship by overthrowing the delegacy. A debate which involved power and who went where always works.

When we had the old true home style of TWP within Nationstates in 2007, we had the Senate, Town Council, Ministries and the First Minister. It was the election within the Senate that put you in the spot for the contender list. It was a stage process for competency and one which I must admit worked - for a while.

This style to me was ludicrous change. I truly believed we found a perfect working system and we just had to bloody change it. Look where that ended up.

TWP is a dying bread of dogs waiting to go to heaven.

  9. He's good rol, thanks. Being a little monkey now that he's 1 and learning new habits to play with the ornaments haha!

Still in College, still studying away. Law is not one for the short term nor to shy away from. Fast paced and hard going.

  10. My partners mother is the 27th of December. She never really got much, but kids and middle ages usually seem to. Partners 19th, Son's 30th of January.

Christmas seems to be the time where everything with money matters in my family seem to go to pot.
