  1. [option] "I want to be vice leader," bellows renowned unionist and socialist leader as he stumbles out of a recital of the Communist Manifesto. "I will improve the lives of @NATION@'s proletariat and overthrow the bourgeoisie for once and for all!"

Effect: Following recent legislation in @NATION@, a Five Year Plan has been initiated

Economy decrease, civil rights decrease, political freedom decreases

  2. Description: After the recent departure of your deputy leader, @@RANDOMNAME@@ for...somewhat unsightly reasons, the time has come to choose a new second-in-command for the glorious @@LEADER@@.

    Validity: Any?

[option] "Candidate Number One hails from far in the north," calls the announcer, who has suddenly appeared from behind your chair, "he always dresses for the weather, and enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting trespassers and polishing his guns."

[option] "Candidate Number Two is a bigwig politician, well known for her long history in politics.  She has the loveliest personality, will do anything to stay hip for the young voters, and enjoys long, luxurious bubble baths."

-I got two candidates done, but they need more work.  I liked the idea of having it be like a dating game show, gives it some life.

[option] "Candidate Number Three is a noted labor union leader and socialist, well known for arguing for worker's rights. He has received numerous international accolades for doing just this. However, he may be too distant from the everyday voter due to his often extreme political views".

The Charter of the Voice of the West Pacific Union will repeal the above section and replace it with the below text.

    (1) The Union will recognize the absolute authority of the Delegate over the West Pacific as the reality of NationStates mechanics.

  4. WA Delegate: Executive Head of State, elected by region's WA members every four months.

The Cardinal Guardians: Nominated by the Delegate and confirmed by the Voice

The Advocate: Executive Head of Government, appoints Cabinet

The Voice: Regional assembly. Has power to remove the Delegate in extraordinary circumstances.

  5. Many years ago, TWP rivaled TNP as the most active offsite forum. There were many arguments back then.

To me - the disconnect between delegate and offsite is the reason for little offsite activity.

I'm just going to throw this out there. If I was delegate, I would force the offsite government to be an arm of what I'm doing onsite. No if's and's or but's about it.

I think that's the route we should take, imo.

I firmly agree. I believe we should integrate gameside and forumside further.
