  1. The "problem" with TWP (in the eyes of those that like turmoil) is that we've been around the block a couple times and are ready to play shuffle board together. I'm certain that if we infused the region with fresh faces, their desire for power and their competing visions of what they believe best for the region would cause some turmoil again. It won't likely stop the shuffleboard game going on in the back yard, but it will make it more exciting for the young'ns.

  2. This is interesting. I like the idea of Native registration mostly because this would have in immediate impact on the relationship between offsite governments and gameplay as well as giving a huge boost to the espionage game. The need to investigate and track native applications and their associated players would necessitate the useof off site tracking methods. And the challenge of making sure you "have a dog in the fight" in each major region would re-militarize and re-vitalize the intelligence game.

The idea of revolution is good too, except for the part where a new founder is elected. If a region boots it's own founder, they have an elected delegate to protect them. If they want a new founder, they actually want a new region.

  3. This embassy for the region Asgardia is declared open.

Please be aware that any pouchies found outside these walls will be tagged and bagged in order to facilitate easy disposal. A reminder that exporting pouchie meat is prohibited without the express permission of TAO.

Thank you and Welcome to The West Pacific!

  4. I started in January 2004 with a nation called "TryThisGame" or something along those lines. lol

A few months later I made Darkesia and... several other nations. I decided that this game was a puzzle of unspoken and unwritten rules that I had to figure out. And to me, the only way to figure it out was to put a nation in almost every region of consequence.

Not long after that, Dilber taught me how to use a proxy. I spent quite a few years perfecting my acting skills as several different personas.

Darkesia has held several positions in many regions. Some of the more fun and memorable regions:

    TWP (of course)

    Gatesville

    The Pacific

    The East Pacific

    Lemuria

    The North Pacific

    LWU

    Nasicournia

The Liberty League (I think that was the name of it)

I was part of the RLA but can't remember what region I used as a base to get in. I distinctly remember Stars, but I'm not certain if that was Darkesia I had there. There is also a western themed region started by JAL that I remember being fun. But can't remember the name of it. I am pretty certain that I didn't have Darkesia in Invaders or TBH, but the people there knew it was me... I think. Well, they knew one of them was me. Heh...

    God I'm old.

EDIT for the addition of RL

Oh! Real life... IRL, I went to Indiana University for an MS in Optical Physics. So, obviously my favorite football teams are Notre Dame and Ohio State. I own a thriving home healthcare company and I can't remember how to do Fourier Transforms.
