Saint Mark vs Ryxtylopia - The Highlights After the usual ads the transmission began, as both teams lined up for their national anthems, Ryxtylopia dressing the green and blue shirt this time, whilst the stands were filled by a overwhealmingly markan crowd, as both teams shook hands and prepared for the match. Once again for this match, Pablo Virriscayda would be comentating. As preparations for the match finalized, the game got underway; in the end Tivarra had decided not to make any changes to the roster. "Annnd... Ryxtylopia won the coin toss, apparently- yep they're starting by kicking off. Ladies and gentlemen we currently have SAINT MARK! vs RYXTYLOPIA! Live from Overthinkers, on TVNC." Ryxtylopia would start by kicking off, commencing the match. KICK OFF: Ryxtylopia starts off by probing the markans with advances forward before passes back, certainly more agressivley than in the game against Zoran, but the first 5 minutes prove uneventful. "And... KICK OFF! SAINT MARK VS RYXTYLOPIA HAS COMMENCED! LETS GO PIRATES!" 6 Minutes in... (0-0) Ryxtylopian Loosehead prop: Pailo Darrias spots a good opening in the markan defense and attempts to go in for a try, but the markans were quick on their heels, as left-wing Celerio Blitzen turned around and tackled Darrias before regaining possetion and passing the ball safeley away. "Its Darrias, Darrias, Darrias, Darrias, DARRIAS, DARRIAS! DARRIAAAAAAAAAAAAS! ANNNNND TACKLEEE!!!! Amaizing maneuver by Celerio Blitzen leaves Darrias on the floor! Saint Mark Regains possetion!" 18 Minutes in... (0-0) The first big chance for the Lions came in the 18th minute after a ruck ending in their favor lead to the ball being in possetion of markan blindside flanker: Marcarius Hightower who began a counterpush from the markan side, then passing to markan 2nd row player: Donovan Elkhart who before being able to pass or run through any gaps was quickly tackled by ryxtylopian inside centre: Guilbirto Tivaña, who was able to pass the ball away clearing Ryxtylopia from any trouble. "Marcarius for the markans, they are moving up on the lines, Marcarius to Donovan, Donovan, they are pushing they are pushing; Its close! Annnnd Tackle! A Tackle by Tivaña, Ryxtylopia regains possetion!" 25 Minutes in... (0-0) Another big chance for Ryxtylopia happens in the 25th, as after a good pass from openside flanker Marco Xilta the ball ends in the hands of Guivina Divarra, who carries the ball nearly to victory before being tackled by markan outside centre: Colin Rahl, however after the tackle the markans fail to cover ryxtylopian hooker: Andreís Guilbirto, who was behind Divarra, and opportunistically grabbed the ball before the markans did, nearly scoring a try. Only the quick reaction from markan fullback: Blaze Emberfell saved the markans from conceding, as they tackled Guilbirto and got the ball safeley away. "Xilta... Xilta to Divarra, Divarra is through, Divarra is running, she's taking the train straight for the markan side of the field, Divarra... Tackle! It- WAIT ITS GUILBIRTO, GUILBIRTOOOOOOOO- TACKLE!! The Markans have once again saved themselves, this time by the hand of Blaze Emberfell!" 31 Minutes in (0-7) But as time on the first half of the game started to run low, the ryxtylopians opened the score after a maul that favored them, leading to the ball being passed to ryxtylopian number 8: Quista Farris who started a good series of passes with Huilchica, before Huilchica passed to Darrias near the edge of the field, from there Darrias passed next to markan right wing: Christopher Dancer who was positioned to anticipate a try by Huilchica, leading to Darrias scoring the try. In the following conversion kick, Huilchica scored, giving ryxtylopia a 7-0 lead. "The ball for Quista Farris! Farris to Huilchica, Huilchica to Farris, Farris to Huilchica, Huilchica can score! Annnd... BALL TO DARRIAS, DARRIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSS, SCOREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! Ryxtylopia has scored, Amaizing maneuver by Huilchica, Farris and Darrias!" "Its now Huilchica to score the conversion, Huilchica... Kick annnnnd... SCORE! Huilchica scored the conversion kick! Its now Saint Mark 0, Ryxtylopia 7!" HALF TIME (0-7) The rest of the first half was just a mix of ryxtylopian pushes, and markan counter attacks, both being unable to get any other major chances to score throught the rest of the first 40 minutes. With the ref's whistle being blown, both teams went to cool off and re-organize. "Its Palmiras annnd, Half time! Ladies and Gentlemen Ryxtylopia winning against Saint Mark in this intense match that currently stands 0-7 in favor of the Pirates! We'll be back soon after the ad break." 59 Minutes in... (7-7) After the break the markans had more luck with their counter attacks, which bore fruit in the 59th minute of the game, when following a ruck, markan lock: Donovan Elkhart spotted a gap left by ryxtylopian outside centre: Rinaco Patochá, and passed to markan hooker Welhelo Saylor who took advantage of the gap, with Ernysto Rivas the fullback for Ryxtylopia being unable to tackle him, leading to the markans scoring, with Baxtor Goldwash, Saint Mark's loosehead prop; converting. "We have Donovan for the markans, he is through the line through, Donovan in to Welhelo, passing Rivas! Annnnd... SCORE! Saint Mark Scores! Thanks to Donovan and Welhelo!" "And now it will be Baxtor to score the conversion, its here Baxtoooooooooooooor, SCORE! Saint Mark has scored the conversion and the match is now level 7-7!" 63 Minutes in... (7-7) The ryxtylopians didn't give up however and in the 63rd minute a chance to slip between markan fly half: Nelson Saint Mark and inside centre: Rudolph Centerman was taken by Guivina Divarra, but after being surrounded by the rest of the markan defense she opted to attempt a drop goal, which straved off the left post. "Divarra, OH! DIVARRA IS THROUGH! But she may get tackled soon as sh- SHE TRIES THE DROP GOAL ANNNND- MISS! Divarra has nearly missed! The game will remain tied for the time being!" 67 Minutes in... (7-14) After Divarra's miss it didn't take too long for Ryxtylopia to score once again, as after a good pass from blindside flanker: Armando Mataña, Huilchica got possetion, before passing to Guilbirto, ran straight at the markan side before turning around to pass to ryxtylopian tighthead prop: Mirta Palmiras who scored the try, after avoiding Emberfell. Following this Divarra scored the conversion bringing the game 7-14 in the Pirate's favor. "Mataña! Mataña to Huilchica, Huilchica's in the markan's side its now to Guilbirto! Guilbirto is through! Guilbirto has hit the gas! Its Guilbirtoooooo- PALMIAR ITS PALMIRAS AND SCOOOOOOOOOORE!!! Ryxtylopia has scored thanks to Guilbirto and Palmira's coordination!" "Now Divarra to convert, ladies and gentlemen, Divarraaaaaaaa- SCORE! Divarra has scored the conversion! This brings up the game 7-14 in favor for the Pirate!" 72 Minutes in... (7-14) After a pass forward ryxtylopian scrum half: Ferrán Lisquerva, Saint Mark were awarded a scrum, which they took advantage of to counter push the ryxtylopians, with good passes between Donovan Elkhart and John Evermore, that nearly ended in a try, however Right-Wing Avilita Mataña tackled Evermore as he approached the line, allowing Rivas to take possetion and carry the ball away. "Its a scrum... Saint Mark regain possetion! its now to Donovan, Donovan to John, John to Donovan, Donovan to John, John to Donovan, and again to John the markans are close annnd- Tackle by Mataña! And Rivas takes possetion for the pirates!" 78 Minutes in... (10-14) As the match neared its end the markans got one final chance to close the score in the 78th, when following a ruck on their side, markan blindside flanker: Marcarius Hightower was able to run past the first 2 ryxtylopian lines nearing the defense before passing to a surrounded Baxtor Goldwash who in that quick succession of passes achieved a beautiful drop goal, stunning the ryxtylopian backline, and closing the gap between the score in the dying minutes of the match. "Ryxtylopia is nearing victory ladies and gentlemen! Its now Marcarius Hightower for Saint Mark, the markans are on the counter now, they've passed both Xilta and Farris! its Marcarius, attention Marcariuuuuuuus to Bruno! Drop- n' SCORE! Saint Mark has scored a beautifully executed drop kick by the hand of Marcarius Hightower and Bruno Goldwash!" FULL TIME (10-14) However that drop goal in the 78th would be the last scored in the game as the Lions fell to the Pirates with the final score remaining 10-14, as the match ended both sides shook hands and the rytxylopians went back to the dressers as the heavily markan crowd left the stadium. "Annnd- FULL TIME! RYXTYLOPIA HAS WON! Ryxtylopia has achieved its first victory against Saint Mark in a Rugby World Cup! In a match we all anxiously waited for." "This match has seen a lot of hits by ryxtylopia at the markan side only to be counter attacked by the markans, it has been intense but in the end the pirates were able to prevail, once again big thanks to Overthinkers for allowing TVNC to host this signal to you the viewers!" "But this marks the end of todays match, thanks for watching, and we hope you tune in soon for: RYXTYLOPIA VS PEOUROUIN!" The Transmission ends.

Stress and Mockery Tivarra was in the hotel's elevator, going down as the elevator played some classical music, however he wasn't too calm, rather the opposite, he was stressed, still having in mind his team's apparent inability to score drop goals, and the bad conversion rate. [Tivarra]: No... No... No... NO! Aghhh... Whilst crossing words off his list he'd break the pencil he was using, pretty angrily as he waited for the elevator's door to open, as he exited the elevator, visbly frustrated he came across his team's outside centre: 22-year old Rinaco Patochá, wearing a top hat he had bought... somewhere, and using an umbrella as a cane. [Patochá]: Good evening, boss. [Tivarra]: Ugh... Rinaco... what are you up to now, can't you see im stre- [Patochá]: Well, if im going to be honest i thought: since we are going to face the Lions of Saint Mark, it would be rather inapropriate to go out on or normal attire, and instead try for something more, "visually appealing". Said Rinaco in a stereotipically posh mockery of the markan tounge. At this Tivarra was not amused. [Tivarra]: Come on, now is not the time for mockery, also where did you even get that top- y-you know what, nevermind, i have to plan out our strategy for this game, you'll be in as usual, im considering hav- [Patochá]: But boss, if i would be so polite as to point out, we've been "perfecting our art" recently and i say: ive been getting oversaturated by all the back-breaking labor, it would be an appreciated change to try something new. Said Rinaco continuing the "posh" mockery. [Tivarra]: If you were in my place you would understand how stressful it actually is, you played decently but im still baffled by some of the others, Palmiras had me on edge. The two entered the hotel's restaurant, where the rest of the team was already eating, passing by the tables before being stopped by the team's captain: Riberto Huilchica. [Huilchica]: Hey boss! [Tivarra]: What is it now? [Huilchica]: I was wondering if you would play Quista over Diavarra today, i mean you still haven't told us the plan... [Tivarra]: If im going to take someone out of the team its going to be Palmiras, im not in the best mood. Patochá approaches Huilchica and still using the posh accent would very obviously whisper on his ear: [Patochá]: I am terribly sorry to have to approach it by this manner, but it seems as if our boss is having a rather awful day if im honest. [Tivarra]: I heard that... [Huilchica]: Awh, come on boss, i know you've always suffered from stress, plus we did pretty great against Zoran, who says stuff against Saint Mark wont go as planned? [Patochá]: Unfortunatley Zoran tis not Saint Mark. [Tivarra]: Patochá, cut it with the accent already! Ugh, but like he said, Zoran isn't Saint Mark. [Huilchica]: I think the reason Patochá is acting that way is beacause he is NOTICING, you are stressed. Boss you always take stuff to seriously, yesterday we had to practice for hours, so since we already went through that moment of hard work, how about a bit of rest? I mean as a player i can speak for the team and we're usually not very happy with getting up at 5' to have to go train. [Patochá]: Tis is correct. [Tivarra]: And how do you want me to- [Huilchica]: Just relax!! Like actually take a break man, or be more light hearted like Patochá here, you haven't even ate since in the morning! [Tivarra]: Ugh, i hate to admit it but ill concede it to you this time, you're right, i could really do with some food. [Huilchica]: Those things help you keep a better mood! So just order something already and worry AFTER the match, not before, we'll be just fine. [Tivarra]: Maybe you're right, what's on the menu- As the two walked while chatting they saw Patochá and a small crowd of the younger players talking. [Patochá]: Theese hats are actually kinda comfy, what if we don't all go buy some more and wear them at the match?! The markans will be in awe at our level of sophistication! [Tivarra]: He just can't stop that can he? [Huilchica]: Maybe earlier he could but now... yeahhhh... he's too deep into that. The two chuckle before heading to a table.

Ryxtylopia vs Zoran - The highlights. The transmission would start right before the match, after many ads, with both teams entering the pitch, and lining up; Soon the national anthems of Ryxtylopia would play, and after that the Zoranian anthem plays, with both teams shaking hands and taking up their spots on the field. For this match, famous rugby comentator in Ryxtylopia: Pablo Virriscayda would be comentating. The game would soon get underway. "And, it seems the Zoranians won the toss... This looks like it'll be a very intense match ladies and gentlemen, for Ryxtylopia to open our RWC campaign..." The zoranians opted to start the game by kicking off, and after some short preparation the game begins: KICK OFF: The first few minutes prove uneventful with Zoran starting off slow, but Ryxtylopia also failing to find opportunities to make it to the zoranian side of the pitch, until the zoranians got a chance. "And the game has commenced! Ladies and gentlemen, RYXTYLOPIA VS ZORAN, now live from Overthinkers in the 5th edition of the Rugby world cup, come on Ryxtylopia!" 16 Minutes in... (0-0) The Zoranians find their first chance in the 16th minute, as good passes between hooker: Attakullakulla Quegadu and Tighthead prop Salonitah Gelusva lead them to the ryxtylopian defense, leading them to nearly scoring, but after receiving a pass from Salonitah, Attakullakulla would get tackled by Outside Centre Rinaco Patochá, with Ryxtylpia soon regaining possetion and salvaging the situation keeping the score level. "Zoran, here with the ball, its uhh... Salo...ni...tah Gelusva going in, pass to Atta...kulla...kulla Quegadu; zoranian hooker, oh god they're within reach, PASS... NO WAIT, AND... THEY GET TACKLED! Ladies and gentlemen the zoranians were so close! But Rinaco Patochá saves us from conceding the first points." 25 Minutes in... (0-0) The next big chance of the game again came from the zoranians, after bad passes from Ryxtylopia's locks and a ruck which the zoranians faired better in, once again it was Salonitah Gelusva who had the ball in the Ryxtylopian side, but after being surrounded by Patochá and Left wing Marco Va'atí, Salonitah would get tackled, with Attakullakulla sweeping in before passing back to Twah'kohi Agasgani who attempts a drop goal, the ball bearly falling short from the post. "Its Salonitah, with possetion, he's pushing forward, but he's going to get tackles by Patochá, looses possetion, wait- ATTAKULLA-KULLA IN, BACK TO TWAH'KOHI- DROP AND OHHHHHH... Oh my! Just short from the points! Amaizing play, but the reult didn't work out! This match remains 0-0!" 31 Minutes in... (0-0) After playing semi-cautiously for the first 30-ish minutes of the game, Ryxtylopia was finally able to build up a decent chance at scoring points, Nº4 Lock and Captain: Riberto Huilchica passing to Guivina Divarra who was behind him, she would carry the ball forwards before getting tackled by zoranian fly-half Gulkalaski Lemomequa, resulting in a ruck which favored Ryxtylopia as Mirta Palmiras would regain possetion for the Pirates, before passing to Guilbirto who nervously kicks and fails a drop goal, the ball passing a meter or so from the left post. "Ryxtylopia! Its Riberto, Riberto to Guivina, Guivina is in the zoranian's side, she moves forw- OH AND SHE DID NOT ANTICIPATE THE TACKLE, And its now- no wait we have a ruck, ive lost track of the ball, and its... PALMIRAS, PALMIRAS MOVES, PASS-BACK TO GUILBIRTO THIS IS OUR CHANCE- DROP SHOOT AND OOOHHHHHH NO! THE BALL HAS PASSED SO CLOSE YET SO FAR! Ryxtylopia fails its first major chance, this game will remain tied!" 38 Minutes in... (0-3) With half time rapidly approaching the zoranians would come out of a maul with possetion with blindside-flanker: Degataga Dvagahi having the ball, after running fast enough to prevent being tackled by Rinaco Zicha, who falls short of his waist. Degataga would pass to Twah'kohi Agasgani who after running about 3 meters passes back to Ahuludegi Tsiguka who drops and shoots the ball, scoring the drop goal, sending most of the stadium into cheers, and finally breaking the deadlock before half time. "Its... Dega-taga... Dvag- wait OH RINACO! WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO, RINACO HAS SLIPPED! Degataga to Twah'kohi! The distance isn't long, its to Ahulude-gi, attention... AhuluDEEEEEEEEEEEEGIIIIIIIII!! Zoran has Scored! This match is now 0-3 in favor of the Sun Hawks!" HALF-TIME (0-3) No other major opportunities to score were born out of the remaining minute and half in the game, and both teams went to shake off the sweat and re-organize. "And that's the whistle. Ladies and gentlemen we have reached the 40-minute mark, its Nil-Three to the Sun Hawks, the Pirates must start to play more agressivley if they want to head out with a win!" 56 Minutes in... (0-3) A chance for Ryxtylopia opened when after a ruck, Looshead Prop: Pailo Darrias would pass to Huilchica, who attempts a drop goal, who fails another drop-goal for the Pirates. "Its Darrias, Darrias to Huilchica... SHOOTS! AND... ITS MILES OFF! ITS MILES OFF! THAT BALL MIGHT HAVE ALREADY TRAVELLED ALL THE WAY TO SEKIYA WITH THE WAY YOU KICKED! This means the score remains in favor of Zoran! 63 Minutes in... (5-3) Finally after what seemed like an eternity, after a maul where the zoranians came up with the upper hand, after crossing into the ryxtylopian side of the field, zoranian loosehead-prop: Amo-Adawehi Tsasima would be tackled, and a series of passes lead the ball to ryxtylopian openside-flanker: Marco Xilta, who speedily carries the ball through a hole in the zoranian front, entering the zoranian side of the field before passing to Divarra just as he ran into the zoranian backline, Divarra carried the ball forward before passing to guilbirto a meter behind her, as guilbirto bearly passed around zoranian fullback: Kali Gasohi, landing the try to loud cheers from the ryxtylopian side of the crowd. However in the following conversion Palmiras missed. "Its Tsasima... no wait now its- uh er- That was some fast passing... Its Xilta, Xilta moving up, Xilta going forward, HE'S IN ZORAN'S BACK YARD! Xilta is running ladies and ge- no, wait Xilta to Divarra, Divarra- Guilbirto, and its GUILBIRTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! RYXTYLOPIA SCOOOOOOOOOOORES!! A wonderful try by GUIL-BIR-TO!" "Right, it will be Palmiras for the conversion, AND SHE'S- missed... The score remains 5-3!" 70 Minutes in... (12-3) With the end 10 minutes away, after some cautious play on the back, the ball would be for Ryxtylopia's Number-8: Quista Farris, who would dodge some zoranians before reaching the defense and passing to Huilchica who after spotting a gap between Wohali Goyadv and Oconostota Dlanegvotli would run in, bearly missing Goyadv and landing the try, with the conversion this time being landed by Darrias. "Farris, Farris to Huilchica he's hit the road, its HUILCHICA, HUILCHICA FOLLOWING THE ROAD, HE'S A CAR THAT WONT STOP, AND- SCORE! RYXTYLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPIA HAS SCORED! Its now 12-3 in favor of the Pirate! The Zoranians keep pushing into the back, but they leave holes making paths for the counter attack! Zoran needs to seek a miracle if they want to tie!" 77 Minutes in... (12-8) After a poor attempt at attacking goes bad for Guilbirto, he would commit a knock-on with the zoranians being awarded a scrum about 3/4 of the field in their side, the zoranians wouldn't take too long to regain possetion from the scrum, with Mohe Yvokala acheiving possetion for the sun hawks, before moving up to pass it to Dvagahi who carries it past the half of the pitch before being tackled by Ferrán Lisquerva, luckily for the zoranians their number 8 Sesdi Tsunela was nearby to regain possetion, moving up then passing to Ahuludegi Tsiguka who then moves up to pass to Attakullakulla , blindsiding the ryxtylopian backline and achieving a try, with Salonitah very unluckily hitting the post and failing the conversion, the zoranians moving up on the scoreboard, but with only 3 minutes remaining this basically marked the end of the match. "Guilbirto, OH, that's a knock on, that is a knock on... And its ZORAN! ZORAN with the ball now, Mohe Y-vokala? I need to practice their name pronountiation... Mohe to Dva-gahi... Dva-gahi is moving forward, and meets Ferrán! But wait Sesdi recovers for Zoran! and its now Ahulu-degi... now to Attakulla-kulla they're through! and SCORE! Zoran has scored a try!" "Its Salonitah to convert for the zoranians annnd... POST! That didn't go in Ladies and Gentlemen! Its Ryxtylopia: 12! Zoran: 8!" FULL-TIME (12-8) Not much else happened in the remaining minutes, this handed over the victory to the Pirates after an intense and hard-fought match. "Annnnd... TIME'S UP! RYXTYLOOOOOPIA HAS WON THE GAME! Ryxtylopia has achieved another victory over the Zoranians, ever since the glory achieved in Dalimbar! This is it, the full 80 minutes are up!" "This was an intense match, we saw a lot of passing, rucks, failed drop goals on our side and an equal ammount of wasted chances on the zoranian side, both teams have showed their skill in play, both in attacking and defending, but it seems RYX-TY-LO-PIA! Took the win! This concludes our first day of participating in RWC5. And we thank the organizers of the tournament for allowing us to transmit this signal for you the viewers to watch, only the best quality at TVNC, the official broadcaster for the Ryxtylopian Rugby Association." "But that will be all for today, thanks for watching, and we hope for you to tune in soon, for RYXTYLOPIA AGAINST SAINT MARK! Have a good day." The Transmission ends.

A "Familar" Foe The players of the ARR after having trained the previous day; were now on the road in the team bus they had chartered, heading to face Zoran for their first match in Overthinkers. The mood onboard wasn't too tense, in fact it was pretty relaxed except for Tivarra who sat with a checklist on the back on the bus, as the bus was followed on the sidewalk by around 100 ryxtylopian fans, with some passing by in cars or taxis, waving flags, being loud and lighting up blue and yellow colored smoke flares. As the bus pulls at the stadium the crowds continue cheering on, whilst from inside Tivarra continues checking the list hurridly preparing for the match, viewing and re-viewing the list, before as the bus parks getting up. [Tivarra]: Alright, we know how they play, we know they're good, so please we have to win, we dont want to start our campaign in the wrong foot like they did with theirs. The players start getting off the bus, heading for the changing room, where Tivarra makes an small brief speech to the players: [Tivarra]: They'll probably try to give us their best game, i dont think this is from them seeking revenge, but rather from having to prove Zoran is still a rugby powerhouse, which as we all know they are. [Tivarra]: They're an agressive team, but i do expect them to start pulling back considering we are also a decent team, they newcomers gave them a surprise and they need to bounce back, we need to secure our first win, im good with a loss, but i still expect you to give your best. [Tivarra]: As for our strategy, im contempt with keeping pressure at whatever pace you can, no need to be quick, we'll seek the try(s) whenever we can. If they're too strong pull back, and seek other ways to push. [Tivarra]: This is the first time i intend for us to be agressive but, not too much, i hope you all understand what im trying to get at here, i already explained it at the hotel, and you should all know your duties. The room goes quiet, as players nod in acknowledgement. [Tivarra]: We're almost the same Ryxtylopia from a year ago, but you all know we're prepared, we cannot dissapoint as the surprise from last year and we wont, we intend to win, and keep outperforming ourselves. [Tivarra]: So... everyone TELL ME ARE WE READY? At this point the room bursts into unison chanting. YES WE ARE. [Tivarra]: THEN LETS TAKE ON THIS RUGBY WORLD CUP WITH THE FLARE AND PASSION WE'RE KNOWN FOR, WE CAN BE CHAMPIONS AND WE'LL WIN, ADILENTÍ RYXTYLOIPIA!!!!!!!! And so the room bursts into one final "Adielentí Ryxtylopia!" before the players head to the pitch to take their spots, ready for the match against Zoran, even if it went badly they still wanted to make a good impression. Whilst Tivarra also went out to watch, and take notes on how to keep improving this already fast-growing team, as there's still a lot of potential that could be unlocked... right?

Ryxtylopia in the Group Stage; The matchups. A SPECIAL BROADCAST BY TVNC SPORTS [Railo]: We're going? Alright, Good afternoon everybody, you are currently watching Televiza Natxinal di Cuiltura, im your presentor for today Tivan Railo, and while id usually be joined by some coworkers to discuss the state of rugby in ryxtylopia and the world today i find myself alone in this space, since our schedule for those types of broadcast hasn't started yet. Rather, this is a one-time special broadcast by TVNC. And you may wonder, why alone? Well its beacause we're going to take a brief look into Ryxtylopia's opponents for the group stage of the 5th edition of the Rugby World Cup, being hosted all the way down in Andolia, in Overthinkers to be precise. Our boys arrived there a few days ago, and now they are looking forwards to their first, and probably hardest group stage match, against a familiar opponent, so its time to get the show on the road and see the rivals we'll be facing and how they compare to our team, starting with... The screen transitions into a small overview of each opposing team from now on. ZORAN! The Sun Hawks of Zoran are a slightly familiar opponent for Ryxtylopia, both teams met in the quarterfinals of the last RWC, where the zoranians; at the time the reigning champions lost to the Pirates on their debut in RWC4, its been a while since that day in Dalimbar, and so far its been the only ocation where Zoran and Ryxtylopia met in a RWC match, with the Pirates taking the victory 31 to 25 points. The zoranians have already started their campaign in this edition of the tournament, despite being an experienced team, they have started on the wrong foot loosing to Noveauterra 6-22, their playstyle favoring attacking in that match cost them against an inexperienced but solid noveauterran defense, which absorbed the zoranian attack and was able to take the chances they had to counter-attack, resulting in the debutants getting their first victory against a previous RWC champion. Maybe it was overconfidence that doomed the zoranians, but that's something they probably wont suffer from against Ryxtylopia! As our team is a primarily young team with experience from a previous RWC and a lot of athletically capable players, what to expect for a match? We could probably witness the zoranians playing more cautiously trying to get the Pirates to overextend themselves on the field, or trying to lure the pirates out, we can probably also expect a LOT of passing in this match, as for chances it will be either a scorefest for both sides, with either side being able to gain an advantage, or it will be a slog throught the field, with frequent possetion changes and few chances. After the loss against Noveauterra the zoranians may play more defensivley than usual, but they still preffer to go on the attack, whilst for this year, Tivarra has changed the tactics as he stated before he intends to play more agressivley. This is a match we'll be transmitting tomorrow! So hopefully you all get your snacks and enjoy what promises to be a very intense match. SAINT MARK! The Lions of Saint Mark are a respected, posh team in Aura, Saint Mark being the largest and most populous nation in the continent - its no surprise they are able to produce talent, maybe not the best talent in comparison to some other teams but they have plenty of it, meaning they have a lot of options when it comes to players and a lot of experience to consult. The Pirate and the Lion have never dueled in the RWC, as during Ryxtylopia's debut, Saint Mark got knocked out in the round of 16, never meeting Ryxtylopia in the groups either. But they have started on the right foot unlike the zoranians, the Markans have won their fist game in not an astonishing but a comfortable fashion against the wavering Einherfell team, which as of now is the worst ranked team in the world, the Lions glided elegantly to victory with the score being 10-0, their favored style of play seems to lean a bit of the defensive edge, maybe leaning towards possetion, but a still balanced style of play as they can attack when you need them to, and they can put up a if not "magnificent" a decent defense against any opponent. When the Lions encounter the pirates we could expect a slower match than with the zoranians, as they'll probably hold back for the first minutes, playing cautiously, whilst our team might make go for drop-goals if scoring a try proves too hard, both teams have a balanced style of play, so its unlikley we'll see risky plays from either, or any team leaning overly towards attacking or defending. The date for when we'll transmit this match is TBD, so stay tuned on TVNC for more info. PEOUROUIN! Making their way all the way from Nur to take part in the tournament is the Peorouin National Team, which sadly for me don't seem to have earned any nicknames yet, like Ryxtylopia they debuted in RWC4 and got 4th in their group, only to be bombed into the ground by the zoranians in the round of 16, Peourouin is a team with slow but steady growth and shouldn't be underestimated. A team which Ryxtylopia hasn't played against in a RWC yet. They've started the tournament off with a win, 17-7 over Arifiyyah, and their team has shown to be agressive, which could be one of their greatest weaknesses against the stronger teams in the group, since playing agressive is a high-risk style of play with a lot of potential chances to score but also a lot of potential chances to concede, it will all be down to how their defense is and how much possetion they can retain, as they could very easily pressure their opponents continously given enough possetion and physicial ability. As i said previously being over-agressive might be a weakness, if their tactics do not change, we could expect a game between them and the Pirates being a lot of chances from their team being wasted with a few scored, whilst their defense may struggle against a barrage of pirate counter attacks, depends on how much possetion they're able to keep. Considering their players are still relativley young, and they're another fellow ex-debutant from RWC4 this match will be very interesting to watch. ARIFIYYAH! The Mighty Orangutan from Arifiyyah a nation known more for football than rugby, having several succesful participations in the soccer tournament, but not being able to replicate that success in rugby, since in Dalimbar they came in dead last in their group, which they did share with the pirates, with the result favoring the nation north of Bilyad as Ryxtylopia won that game 14-0. They haven't gotten to a good start loosing 7-17 to Peourouin but they seem to be in a process of restructuring to improve their rugby team and perhaps put up a fight for one of the 4 spots to the round of 16. Their team plays semi-agressivley, apparently preffering to be on the offense, very similarly to Zoran and less like Peourouin. In a game against the Pirates, we could expect them to try to pressure Ryxtylopia with a lot of passing, and moves forward, but this game will be hard for them, and currently they're not in line to make it out of the group, they do have a lot of players with potential that probably hasn't been tapped yet, and if Ryxtylopia can retain possetion and conduct counterattacks, Arifiyyah could be in some serious trouble once they face the Pirates, but like i said its a team that with the necessary reforms could become a decent team in the RWC. EINHERFELL! Another team without a nickname, also apparently without organization, either that or something else that's causing the team from Einherfell to have a terrible time in recent RWC's, they finished last in their group in Dalimbar, meaning Einherfell and Ryxtylopia have not had any games in a RWC as previously they haven't shared groups and Einherfell haven't advanced to a knockout round in the last RWC. Their start to this RWC also leaves much to be desired by their fans loosing 0-10 to Saint Mark, and their team doesn't seem to have any coherent playstyle, they variate a lot between games, so its very hard to know their preffered playstyles. This may be the least interesting of the matches to play and its hard to know what to expect in a game, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the pirates win with a very favorable score, specifically as Einherfell doesn't seem to be a team that likes to pressure their opponents nor defend too much. NOUVEAUTERRA! A team making their debut in this RWC: The Nouveauterran National Team seems to be a team with a lot of potential, since this is their debut they haven't faced Ryxtylopia yet, but they're already looking like a solid team, with one particularity: a lot of their squad is composed of part-time rugby players, meaning this could be a factor later on to determine their performance. They achieved victory over the zoranians 22-6, a stunning result that has sent shockwaves through the rugby world and has indicated that very much like in the last edition of the RWC debutants will play an important role, both in the groups and later on. Their playstyle is semi-defensive, and they have proven to be able to carry out effectivley. Facing the Pirates, a less agressive team than the zoranians, the Nouveauterran team may have some issues when it comes to pushing, and attempting to score, being forced to be more agressive, that could be their undoing if they're not careful, but considering this is their first RWC their team seems to be playing it safe, in a game we could either expect few chances to score from either team, a tie, or Ryxtylopia winning with a good score in favor. The screen transitions back to Railo in the studio. [Railo]: And that will mark the end of this special broadcast by TVNC! As we just went through we have been able to see the strenghts of each team and how possible games with Ryxtylopia could go, a few teams may give us trouble but as of now the Pirates are one of the auran favorites to win the tournament due to the recent streak from RWC4. We hope you enjoyed this transmission, don't forget to tune in tomorrow to be able to watch RYXTYLOPIA VS ZORAN! Live from Overthinkers! Only with the best signal here in TVNC, i thank you for your time and i hope all our viewers have a wonderful day, thank you. The camera zooms out from the studio, as the transmission quickly fades to ads for a betting site advertising Ryxtylopia vs Zoran.

The Arrival Cangham International Airport, Cangham, Overthinkers - 1:35 A.M. Overtime (IAT+1) After arriving at the airport, the players of the Ryxtylopian Rugby Association start to board off the plane, greeted by many fans who had already made the trip in advance, the atmosphere wasn't one of partying, as it was pretty late, the flight from Tiarves Dispirva International Airport in Ryxenia had been long, after suffering a delay in takeoff due to poor weather, but after many... many miles the team had made it to Overthinkers, where most after getting out from the plane into the terminal would have probably been caught off guard by the chilly morning weather. The team's bus was already waiting outside, but the players waited inside the terminal while the bags were offloaded from the plane and on to the bus, while that went on, several members of the press made their way in, this didn't yet include members from Ryxtylopia's state-owned television program TVNC, which had covered the sporting event in RWC4, but it did include a lot of reporters notably from CN-4, 7Notixias, Il Faro and AuraTelevixyon, as well as independent journalists. Many of the team players refused interviews for the time being, as they were tired and wanted to get to the hotel, others preferred to take selfies with the fans that had showed up at that hour, while a few did take interviews with the reporters, mainly the team's coach: Andreís Tivarra; who had remained with the national team throught RWC4 and would stay for RWC5. Several reporters approached Tivarra, who was approaching the exit. [7Notixias Reporter]: Coach, Tivarra! What are your goals in this RWC? [Aura Televixyon Reporter]: Will the team be able to hold its own like in the last tournament? [CN-4 Reporter]: What about the matchups? [Tivarra]: Please, one at a time... But starting off with my goals for this Rugby World Cup, well... not my goals but the team's goals, we hope to once again be in a semi-final and win it this time, after that its off to the final, we have the necessary abilities to compete with anyone, just have a few key areas where id like to work on. [CN-4 Reporter]: Like what aspects? [Tivarra]: I feel like coordination betrayed us in that game against UA last year, so that's my main priority for now, depending on our performance in the first match ill assess any other areas of improvement for the team. [Il Faro Reporter]: And how tough do you think the group stage will be? [Tivarra]: Well, currently we're one of the favorite auran teams to win the tournament, i think we'll get through as either 1st or 2nd. As for our rivals we once again cross paths with Zoran, the winners of RWC3, while we did beat them in what i say was one of my most nervous moments they are still a formidable team that should not be underestimated. Our other rival that i somewhat concerns me is Saint Mark, since they also beat their group last RWC. [Tivarra]: Peourouin is another team that passed their group in Dalimbar, but they lost in stunning fashion to the Zoranians, a decent team, but unless we let our guard down they wont pose any threats to knocking us out in the groups. We shared group Arifiyyah in Dalimbar, and they came dead last in the group, but that dissapointing performance may cause them to start restructuring, so ill have to keep an eye on them to see how they progress. [Tivarra]: When it comes to Einherfell, i have no idea what to expect, in Dalimbar they bottomed out their group, but im unsure if they'll go through a restructuring process like i expect to happen with Arifiyyah, so for now they pose no big threat to us. Finally Nouveauterra, one of the debuting teams for this tournament, i dont know what to expect from their players or coach, but their lack of experience in tournaments like this is something i hope to exploit. [Aura Televixyon Reporter]: And what about the players you called up? [Tivarra]: Most of them are the same from the last tournament, only a few changes, since we performed so well and there are few things to smooth out, i didn't see a need to make any major changes. [CN-4 Reporter]: Well, what about the weather conditions here? [Tivarra]: After Dalimbar i thought cold wouldn't be an issue, maybe i was slightly wrong, but we'll get used to it after the first few days, im sure of it. [7Notixias Reporter]: What about teams outside our group that have a shot at winning? [Tivarra]: Well, where to start? Going to start with the hosts: Overthinkers, they also had an amaizing time in RWC4, passing 2nd in their group and making it to the quarters, where they only lost to UA by a point; if they had won that match we would have met them in the semis, but since that wasn't the case ill need to see how well they do and how they measure up to us. Then of course, UA... , so far we're two down against them, but the match against them in the semis last RWC was really close, if we cross them i do have a better idea of how to face them but i would be unsure if we could clench a victory; ill still have them as title contenders. [Tivarra]: I also cannot ignore reigning champions: Dalimbar, i can see them winning another title, their team did amaizingly in their edition of the tournament, but i do not know how not being at home will affect them, nonetheless they shouldn't have a hard time in their group. And since i talked about Dalimbar i might aswell talk about Cambria, since while we did win the race for bronze in RWC4, they did reach the semi final as well as that they can boast about having solid performances in previous RWC's. At this point, the rest of the team was already boarding the bus, when Tivarra noticed he started to wrap up the interviews. [Tivarra]: Well, i thank all of you for your attention, i need to go now, we have a lot of stuff to plan out tomorrow, to hopefully be one of the major contenders to win this edition of the Rugby World Cup. The reporters thank Tivarra before leaving, as he leaves for the bus which would head to the The Elevate Hotel & Resort, where the team would stay for the night. Tivarra probably had a lot in his mind, with his team being more experienced he thought he could relax but now he had extra pressure to perform better than last year, he continued thinking about tactics as he got in the bus with the team headed for the hotel and probably some well earned rest.

The Ryxtylopian Rugby Association Asoxicion di Rugby di Ryxtylopia The Ryxtylopian Rugby Association, commonly reffered to as the A-R-R is the sporting body which manages the ryxtylopian national team as well as partly-responsable for overseeing games within the ryxtylopian rugby league. The (Short) History of the ARR Under coach Andreís Tivarra the ARR made history for Ryxtylopia during its debut in RWC4, when the team travelled to Dalimbar to debut for the Rugby World Cup. Despite arriving with an inexperienced squad made from players which competed in the uncompetitive ryxtylopian rugby league, the team performed decently during the group stages, acheiving 3 wins and 3 losses, tying with Kalmach on points, but having a better PD, passing as third in the group to match Ostronia in the round of 16. In the round of 16, the ARR achieved the victory over Ostronia 29-10 to then be matched against the Zoranians; the champions of RWC2 and RWC3 for the quarterfinals. Despite being outmatched in tactics, the young players of the ARR achieved the victory in an incredibly intense game; winning 31-25, knocking out the defending champions and opening the way to the Semi-Finals where they faced United Adaikes, a team they had faced in the group stages. This time, there would be no magic from the ARR in the semi-finals, as they lost 3-5 in a very intense game that saw a lot of back and forth, but despite this, they were able to move on to the bronze medal match, their rival for said match would be the cambrians, another team with a lot of experience from previous editions of the tournament. But despite this fact, the players of the ARR won the match 27-24 taking home the bronze, and concluding a succesful debut in RWC4. The ARR in the 5th Rugby World Cup For this edition of the tournament, now having much more experience the ARR will be playing mostly with the same squad as they did in the previous RWC, as well as this Tivarra makes a return as coach of the team, and team spirits are high, as despite being young, and still lacking experience in some areas, the team players have shown they're good at rugby and can hold their own against tougher opponents. The goal for this edition of the tournament is to try to outperform the debut, which means reaching the final and potentially winning the tournament, this wont be an easy task, but it will be easier to accomplish compared to when the team was just making their debut in the tournament, considering Ryxtylopia currently sits 3rd in the rugby rankings, only behind United Adaikes and defending champions: Dalimbar. Team Roster and Information: Nicknames: Il Piraita - "The Pirate" This nickname originates from the initialism of the Ryxtlopian Rugby Association, since the A-R-R when said togheter sounds like an "Arr!" and the fans noticing the similarity between the initials of the ARR and the stereotypical pirate expression "Yarr!" adopted this as one of the nicknames of the team. (Yes, its a play on words) Los di Amairillio í Verdí - "The Yellow and Greens" A nickname making reference to the two main colors used by the ARR, Yellow and Green. It is easy to become a young prospect in Ryxtylopia, however unlocking someone's true potential is where Ryxtylopia struggles in comparison to other nations, as the ryxtylopian rugby league is dominated by two teams: Chacas and Trichanacó, which have consitantly been winning titles since the 1390's. This means that players playing outside of theese two clubs are limited in their opportunities, and usually dont break out into the international scene, whilst the two big teams try to give finantial incentives to their players to keep playing for them leading to few players leaving the ryxtylopian league. The national team has a lot of players with good physical abilities and skills, sometimes even better than those in developed countries, however something the national team has lacked at times (apart from experience, which was mostly solved in RWC4) is tactical understanding of the sport, and coherent teamwork. This hasn't stopped the team from acheiving success and is currently being worked on, but is still worth giving a look. Something else worth taking a look at are ryxtylopian fans themselves, which in sports like football (soccer), rugby and baseball have earned some pretty notorious reputations for being loud, provocative, and bad loosers, if we go to extremes even ocationally violent. This is due to the culture around sports in Ryxtylopia, it isn't seen as entretainment, the competitiveness between fans from different teams is usually high, a phenomenon which originated in football and baseball but that spread to rugby; its not uncommon to see fans from different teams swear, insult and fight eachother on a regular basis, the culture of loud chants, banners, smoke and pyro, loud musical instruments playing, and the fans jumping in unison has been engrained in most sports in Ryxtylopia. This carries over to when Ryxtylopia has played at the international level, and Ryxtylopian fans have stood out both in the good moments, during key victories, they have stood out in the neutral moments, all chanting when the team isn't performing well, and in the bad moments, during losses keeping toogheter. But they have also stood out in other ways, like oftenly picking fights before the games, insulting rival teams with chants during the games, and in a recently notorious case: setting fire to their own stadium after being knocked out of the 3rd Football World Cup. They also most of the time remain as collective, and like (or more so need) to be separated from rival fans to avoid any trouble. All that being said, the ARR feels that its ready to take on RWC5 as they prepare to head down to Overthinkers to dispute the tournament, and the fans will follow them wherever they go. The Final It was a busy day in Ryxenia as traffic filled the streets with people almost filling the Rivalda, it was the day of the final, between Rio Priava and Tsalapaní. Priava would be locals, despite being forced to cede about a third of the stadium's capacity to the many Tsalapaní fans filling the stands, barriers were in place, extra police patrolled the outside, the trophy had very discreetly arrived earlier, and both side’s players arrived about half an hour before the match, chants soon began. The Tsalapaní fans mainly concentrated to their assigned areas in the Bravaino and Esquirriva stands, whilst Priava fans concentrated opposite in the Saivilla and Raixas stands, as the clock drew nearer to the start of the finale. At about 6:57 both sides players entered the pitch, and lined up, chants filling the air as excitement over the match grew, soon the ryxtylopian national anthem played briefly, as both sides shook hands and headed to their sides of the pitch. Martíe Disvilixia had chosen a 4-3-1-2 for Priava, as forwards Inzé Fransquixa on the left, Luque Pivarra on the right, behind them Marco Lyvandxe, the other 3 midfielders were Nalpá Farris on the left, Inrique Dixilva in the middle and on the right Andreís Hirivindardé. Finally in the back 4 defenders, Pablo Desquirrivia on the right, Lardo Brixes on the left, and Enrico Dixisvas and Franco Lisquerva in the middle, with Franco Arvaldí as GK. Tsalapaní’s coach: Marco Cierrtá had chosen a 4-4-2 hoping that his midfield would be able to defend as well as support the attack, with the forwards being: Randé Tsilvaña on the right, and Marco Disvilaxia on the left, behind them a line of 4 midfielders in order from left to right being: Pablo Divixsea, Liandro Tiavas, Isidro Dipartí and Varrandé Hiltica. Finally 4 defenders: Railo Disquerravia, Julio Esarca, Varrés Disquilva and Andreís Indravés with Andreís Yirapa as GK. As the clock neared 7:00 the players prepared for kick off, with Tsalapaní being the ones chosen to start kick off and commence the final game of the league. And finally when the clock drew 7, the referee: Sarro Viandé gave the signal and Tsalapaní kicked off commencing the match. KICK-OFF; Tsalapaní began playing cautiously passing back, while Fransquixa and Pivarra moved forwards to start pressuring, as the game got off to a slow start, which lasted for a minute with Tsalapaní seeking gaps in Priava’s defense that hadn’t opened yet. 6 minutes in… After some back and forth in the midfield, Priava got the first chance of the game when Pivarra had possession, and attempted to pass to Fransquixa who had gotten within the box, the pass proved successful but Fransquixa quickly lost the ball to Esarca, who moved it forward for Tsalapaní. 11 minutes in… Priava get another good chance, a pass from Lyvandxe to Fransquixa near the penalty spot, which Fransquixa attempts to get closer, being pressured from both sides he shoots, the ball going harmlessly to the right. 14 minutes in… Tsalapaní get their first chance after deciding to play it safe, Tiavas would pass to Disvilaxia who shot at goal, the ball rolling on the grass into Arvaldí’s hands. 22 minutes in… Dixilva fouls Tsilvaña in the midfield, with the referee conceding a free-kick to Tsalapaní, which Tsilvaña takes, shooting the ball towards Disvilaxia who is unable to head it into the net. 29 minutes in… After a lot of touches and passes, Pivarra gets through Tsalapanís midfield an onto the right wing, crossing it for Fransquixa, but the cross ends up being deflected by the defense, however Lyvandxe would get the deflected ball, shooting and missing the top post. 38 minutes in… Several other shots and missed opportunities later Tsilvaña gets into Priava’s side, and is fouled by Brixes, with Brixes gaining his first yellow card in the entire tournament and a dangerous free-kick being awarded to Tsalapaní within goal’s reach. Which Tsilvaña isn’t able to convert as it goes over the bar. 45 (+1) minutes in… As the first time started to end Fransquixa got a last chance as one of his shots is deflected by Yirapa ending in a corner for Priava, which Lyvandxe takes, and Fransquixa kicks right at a defender, the ball being deflected. HALF TIME; As the ref blew the whistle, half time began, as people still looked on, uncertain, others went to the bathroom or for drinks, and the players went to rest and reorganize. 2nd KICK OFF; As the players got back, the ref whistled with Fransquixa commencing the second half of the final at kick-off, with Priava immediately going on the attack starting to pressure Tsalapaní’s midfield. 53 minutes in… After several attempts, Lyvandxe loses the ball in the midfield to Isidro Dipartí, who passes the ball to Tsilvaña who shoots from outside the box, Arvaldí missing the ball but the ball itself hitting the crossbar, and being cleared by the defense. 59 minutes in… A good pass from Lisquerva reaches Lyvandxe in the midfield, and then Fransquixa on the left, who is able to get past the Tsalapaní defense, before shooting, the ball bounces off Yirapa’s hands but Fransquixa is able to head it in during the bounce into the bottom left corner, opening the scoreboard 1-0 in favor of Priava. 67 minutes in… A good pass from Tiavas reaches Disvilaxia who probes Arvaldí from within the box, Arvaldí deflecting the ball to the side where Tsilvaña barely missed a cross back to Disvilaxia, after that 2 substitutions occur, Julio Indrava for Pivarra on Priava’s side, and Andreís Diraberua for Disvilaxia on Tsalapaní. 74 minutes in… After a shot deflected by Yirapa goes over the post, Priava gets ready for a corner, with Lyvandxe taking it, passing it back to Farris, who connects with Indrava who sends the ball to the right side of the net for the second goal for Priava. 76 minutes in… After the ball goes off the pitch, Tsalapaní uses their last 2 substitutions, making changes in the midfield subbing off Hiltica and Tiavas and subbing on Railo Rivas and Dinco Trivenca. 80 minutes in… Not long after the subs, Rivas would connect a ball with Tsilvaña who shoots, the ball bounces off the left post but into Diraberua’s boots, resulting in Tsalapanís first goal of the match, in the 80th minute. 86 minutes in… After Tsalapanís goal, Lyvandxe would take the ball away from Esarca and connect a pass to Fransquixa who scores a goal that is quickly ruled off from being offside. 89 minutes in… Tsilvaña would run past Lisquerva and in a panic Dixisvas tackles him, earning himself a yellow card and awarding a really dangerous free-kick to Tsalapaní that could tie the match and send it to extra time. Tsilvaña takes the free kick sending it for the top right corner of the goal where the ball instead of meeting the net it meets Brixes head, sending the ball upwards and then clearing it from the box. FULL TIME; After 90+3 minutes of play, Viandé blows the final whistle with most of the crowd going into a state of jubilation as Tsalapaní supporters start to get up and leave the stadium, the Priava players quickly get together for a group hug, as Tsalapaní’s 11 head for the changing rooms with their heads down, the match had ended 2-1 in favor of Priava handing them the 1424 title. And thus as the dark cloudy Ryxenia night was illuminated by red and white fireworks fired from the Rivalda, the Priava players gathered in the pitch, as the trophy was given to team captain Marco Lyvandxe, he got ready and on the count of 3 all the players started jumping as the people still in the stands went wild with Priava achieving the 1424 title, and adding more silverware to their trophy collection!

A look into the league - Semi Final Results. After a short animated introduction, the scene opens in the TVNC studio, with Liandre pulling Pablo into one of the seats. [Pablo]: Ow! Do i really need to do this at this hour? [Liandre]: Yes! Xiava told me she wouldn't show up and i can't run the program alone! [Pablo]: Come on its not my fault she didn't show up. [Liandre]: YOU didn't even show up yesterday! And she doesn't want to come here beacause Bixas lost. [Pablo]: But that isn't my fault, yesterday i didn't show up beacause i was sleepy. [Liandre]: We are already here, you might as well just help me already. [Pablo]: Ughhh, fine... [Liandre]: Alright, good afternoon everybody. You're currently watching "Look into the League" by TVNC sports, the program where we analyze the ryxtylopian league, look at match results, stats and all that stuff! As many of you know the semi-finals were yesterday, meaning the day of the final is approaching! Where we finally have the two contenders; the Club Atlético Rio Priava, and the Club di Fiutbol Tsalapaní! [Pablo]: Two teams that have made it this far from their efforts, Tsalapaní was the most lucky to be here, defeating two stronger opponents, but it isn't without controversy. [Liandre]: But before we look at potential results for the final, we need to take a look at the semi-finals, both stand out but for different reasons. [Pablo]: Well, one unfortunatley stands out for controversy, but we'll get to that. [Liandre]: Alright, first up, we have the match of this season; Mytapixas-Priava! [Pablo]: Incredibly even match, Mytapixas had 48% possetion, and Priava 52% [Liandre]: When it comes to shots, Mytapixas had 27, 9 of those on goal; Priava had 25, 8 on goal. Again, both incredibly similar sides, the game was extremly even, Mytapixas had a 3-4-1-3 as their formation and Priava a 4-3-3. [Pablo]: Well then, how did the match itself go. [Liandre]: Well... The first 45 minutes were a total back and forth, Mytapixas playing incredibly agressive, and loosing possetion of the ball, but this was forcing Priava to their side of the pitch meaning they had few chances, Barvas had 7 shots alone in the first half, but Enrico Dixisvas and Franco Lisquerva made an amaizing job at conditioning him into unadvantegeous positions to shoot. [Pablo]: Something interesting is that Martíe Disvilixia, Priava's coach, didn't start Fransquixa. [Liandre]: Priava definitley went defensive for the first half, Mytapixas also probed a lot, i think Ferrán Ristalva wanted his team to pressure Priava as much as possible, and i guess it sorta worked out, but that resulted in his players tiring out more quickly. [Pablo]: Decent strategies on both sides, Barvas failed a shot from within the box thanks to Dixisvas intercepting it before the net in the 21st minute, and we cannot forget that corner kick that Indrivanda headed into Arvaldi's finger in the 36th. [Liandre]: I shouted goal on that one. [Pablo]: And we still had more time to go, things quickly picked up after half time. [Liandre]: They did, as we get into the first goal of the match none other than Barvas scored it, after a shot from outside the box that passed right next to defender Pablo Desquirrivia and hit the left post to go into the net! [Pablo]: An amaizing goal from an amaizing player, definitley getting an award this season. [Liandre]: But bearly 5 minutes later, after a shot by Lyvandxe, we got a corner for Priava, which Fransquixa kicked, the shot connected with Pivarra who sent it to the bottom right of the net below the gloves of Richava! Meaning the game was once again 1-1! [Pablo]: That was then the chain of goals began, 6 minutes later Barvas and Barvas and Xilva touched the ball bewtween eachother so quickly that defender Franco Lisquerva was left stunned! as still as a tree, which allowed Xilva to connect with Barvas for a shot and a goal in the 65th! [Liandre]: 4 minutes after that Lyvandxe after being pressured to the side by Mytapixas defender Andreís Rixas crosses the ball to Indrava who passes it to an open Fransquixa leading to the second goal for Priava! [Pablo]: Bearly 7 minutes later, after an intense back and forth on the midfield a good pass from Pivarra meets Fransquixa, who slips in a gap between Andraves and Hirrves, allowing for Priava's third goal, giving them advantage. [Liandre]: Mytapixas doesn't give up, after a small argument where Lyvandxe and Indrivanda both god yellow cards; on the 78th minute we got a dangerous situation with Barvas in the box, he shot, and the ball landed right in Lisquerva's hand, the ref awarded a penalty for Mytapixas which Dixilfane sent past Arvaldí in the 79th minute. [Pablo]: We all thought the game would go into extra time but no. [Liandre]: In the 86th minute Fransquixa got a good chance, he kicked the ball with a pretty large force, but Richava was there and it bounced to Rixas who tried to clear, when Lyvandxe ran at him, and took possetion of the ball before sending it into the net next to Richava, who was still anticipating another shot from Fransquixa, thus scoring the last goal of the night! [Pablo]: Despite added time, Mytapixas weren't able to convert the 2 shots they had in the rest of the game, ending it 4-3 in favor of Priava! [Liandre]: What a game, i do feel sorta sad for Barvas, he is a player that deserved to be in the final in my opinion, considering this may be his last season with Mytapixas. [Pablo]: Well, we'll hear more from him soon, as we got another game, this one filled with controversy. [Liandre]: Right, Tsalapaní-Bixas... [Pablo]: There's not much to say, it was very similar to the game Tsalapaní had with Libre, and im not going to talk about the game, we're all here just to discuss... the red card on Praxas, you think it was really a red? or was it a wrong call on the referee's side? [Liandre]: That red proved vital for Tsalapaní who got their goal after it, and it severely weakened Bixas, who missing a defender was forced to act in a more defensive manner, something they were not prepared for. [Pablo]: Lets take a look at the play... when Praxas tackled Tsilvaña, and yes, that was worthy at least of a yellow, but the fact he got a straight red might have been excessive. [Liandre]: If im correct, Tsilvaña claimed Praxas punched him in the neck, once he got up from the ground after a minute of course, Bixas supporters claim he was stalling. [Pablo]: Isn't that what Tsalapaní usually do? [Liandre]: Well it does sort of go in line with their defensive attitude, but they hadn't scored a goal, they wouldn't need to stall the game at that time, that would just mean more pressure on the players to win, and i dont think they would be willing to risk it all on another penalty shootout. [Pablo]: Well... well... We're getting off-topic. Do you really think Tsilvaña was correct and Praxas punched him? [Liandre]: I mean from the angle we have, it looks more like he just pushed or pulled him, but the footage is grainy... [Pablo]: Then it should have been a yellow, not a red? [Liandre]: But here is the thing... I already said why i think Tsilvaña wasn't stalling, meaning he actually felt pain or got hurt in the neck, in any other situation he wouldn't have been on the ground for as long as he was. [Pablo]: But it could have been an overreaction, you know how the sport works theese days. [Liandre]: That's a possibility, but we'll never know, what we do know is, even if it wasn't intended that decision allowed Tsalapaní to take the lead some minutes later. [Pablo]: Ive watched it, heard other arguments and i think, it was just worthy of a yellow, Praxas went in too fast but he didn't deserve to get sent off. [Liandre]: Well, guess that red card sentenced the match, as we'll get a Priava-Tsalapaní for the final! [Liandre]: What do you think we can expect for this final? [Pablo]: Well, honestly i think we can expect the first half to start off cautious for both teams, i dont think Priava will want to fall in the same hole that Libre and Bixas did. [Liandre]: Will have to agree with you there, we might see a more balanced game, Tsalapaní could potentially act in a more offensive manner this time around. [Pablo]: Priava could try to press them by retaining possetion and threatening them with goal chances until they are able to actually find a chance to score. [Liandre]: Hopefully we dont see any controversial refereeing this time. [Pablo]: Yeah, it would be a bad way to end the tournament. [Liandre]: It would, anyways. To our audience: Thank you for watching, this has been "Look into the League" presented by TVNC sports, and we'll see you soon! Have a nice day. [Pablo]: Next time tell Xiava to show up, i dont like arriving early... [Liandre]: Ill drag you here, i wouldn't be so wreckless as to do the same with Xiava, she would probably leave me scarred for life... The two presentors chuckle as the camera zooms away, and the transmission fades to ads.

A look into the league - Quarter Final Results. After a short animated introduction, the scene opens in the TVNC studio, with Liandre and Xiava at the desk, as usual. [Liandre]: Talk about a match. [Xiava]: Camera's rolling Liandre... [Liandre]: Oh crap! Eh- Good afternoon everybody! You're currently watching "Look into the League" presented by TVNC Sports, this is the program where we take a look at the ryxytlopian league, analyze the teams, the stadiums and the fanbase. As many of you know, yesterday we had the quarter-final matches, today we're going to analyze the results, how the teams played, and give our take on the upcomming semi-finals! [Xiava]: We got some really intense matches, as i said Bixas won against Vynitiná. [Liandre]: How about we start with the first match; Mytapixas-Raquivas. [Xiava]: Sure. [Liandre]: I have to say, Mytapixas didn't dominate as much as i thought they would, possetion ended up being 53% for Mytapixas and 47% for Raquivas. [Xiava]: Looking at the shots made by each side, Mytapixas does have more with 26! to 20 made by Raquivas, Mytapixas had a solid 13 on goal! Raquivas had 7. [Liandre]: The first goal didn't take too long to arrive when Barvas slipped between defenders Igarcie Disvilixia and Franco Herrendía to send the ball to the bottom left post, Darrias dove too late and that handed the first goal to Mytapixas. [Xiava]: Lets not forget that corner for Raquivas in the 45th, Xivascarra's head sent the ball right to the crossbar, where it got deflected upwards and then into the hands of Richava. [Liandre]: I remember that miss right after it we got the halftime whistle with Raquivas supporters still with their hands to their heads. [Xiava]: Well 9 minutes after the second time started Barvas made a second goal after receiving a good pass from Xilva from the left side of the box. And then literally after kickoff, due to a mistake from Tisquixia, Barvas was able to charge into the box, his shot got stopped by Darrias this time. [Liandre]: The match started to heat up in the 62nd, when after making a rough entry, Mytapixas defender Andreís Rixas got a yellow, with a free kick awarded to Raquivas. Piavarra kicked the ball into the box, where it met Xivascarra's head and it got sent into the bottom left corner. [Xiava]: A nice goal that revived Raquiva's attack, as not long after, in the 71st minute Xivascarra got into the box, before passing it backwards to Dixilfane who sent a cannonball into the top of the net. [Liandre]: And there the match only got more intense since after pushing Xivascarra, Mytapixas forward Andreís Dixilfane got a yellow, with a free-kick awarded to Raquivas, which Xivascarra took, but the ball bounced off Theo Andraves who tried passing forward but got tackled by Tincho Irravas, awarding a free kick to Mytapixas. [Xiava]: They broke the tie with that one, as Barvas took the free kick, which none other than Dixilfane received, he shot, it bounced off Darrias, and he got a second chance, this time converting, the game was now 3-2. [Liandre]: And finally, after desperate attempts by Raquivas, the game finally was sentenced by Xilva, when he received a pass from Barvas into the box and sent it to the left, the ball bouncing off the goalpost and entering into the net. [Xiava]: Raquivas wasn't able to turn it around, it ended 4-2, Mytapixas goes on to semi-finals! [Liandre]: It was a really intense match! I enjoyed re-watching it, but now we gotta take a look at Priava-Isportivo! [Xiava]: This match in comparison was pretty tame to be honest, Priava had 68% possetion and Isportivo 32%. [Liandre]: Priava made 20 shots, 7 of those being on goal, whilst Isportivo only made 9, with 3 being on goal. [Xiava]: A lot of back and forth in the midfield during the first time, and a lot of shots from waay in the back. [Liandre]: Well except for that chance Isportivo had in the 39th minute when Julian Firverria passed to Disquerravia on the right, but he sent it wide. [Xiava]: Both teams had possetion, Isportivo Struggled to get the ball to the other side, while Priava struggled to convert their chances, a lot of passing, not a lot of shooting. [Liandre]: Half, time, and then Priava started to be able to push more, the first goal was in the 50th minute by Fransquixa, after receiving a pass from Lyvandxe, and sending a ball curving towards the left side of the goal. [Xiava]: Isportivo had two chances in the 63rd minute, after Firverria got through Priava's midfield and crossed the ball to Disquerravia who's shot was intercepted by Arvaldí, ended in a corner which wasn't taken advantage of by Isportivo. [Liandre]: They would have a more succesful approach on the 69th, when Disquerravia after being pressured into the side by Priava defenders, sent a cross into Firverria who headed it into the net. [Xiava]: It was a pretty nice goal, that the chickens weren't expecting. [Liandre]: Unfortunatley for you, Priava only took 5 minutes to respond after Fransquixa, Lyvandxe and Indrava started to rush at Isportivo, with Lyvandxe literally just running circles around Isportivo defender Pablo Carreuña, who failed to stop him from sending a cross to Indrava, who's shot deflected off the post and into Fransquixa who sent it into the top-left, regaining advantage for Priava. [Xiava]: In the 81st, Dixisvas from Priava got a yellow, but Isportivo again, wasn't able to convert, and lost possetion to Pirrava who ran through half the field to send the ball thundering into the net, thus practically ending the game 3-1 in favor of Priava. [Liandre]: With that Priava achieved the victory and will face Mytapixas in what will probably be the most intense match of the league so far! [Xiava]: Well, we still have the match between rivals Libre and Tsalapaní! [Liandre]: I think the best word i can use to explain this match, is Libre bashing their heads against a wall. Libre had 71% possetion and Tsalapaní 29%, by looking at that stat alone Libre should have easily won! [Xiava]: They also had 36 shots, 36! and out of those only 7 on goal. Tsalapaní had 13, with 5 on goal. [Liandre]: Tsalapaní focused a lot on absorbing the attack and counterattacking whenever they had the chance. [Xiava]: Libre had several chances, and i mean a lot, i wont be able to list them all but you had Disquiverria's shot into the left post in the 23rd, another shot right at Yirapa's gloves in the 36th. Diavarra's shot that was deflected by Esarca in the 47th, and a lot more. [Liandre]: And after one of those failed shots, Tsalapaní got the ball with Tiavas passing to Tsilvaña who was able to get through Libre's 2-player long defensive line, with Tsilvaña sending it into the left side of the net, opening the scoreboard. [Xiava]: That caused a lot of changes in Libre, but they kept attacking, like... you have to acknowledge the effort they made, even after Isdriva got the yellow card. [Liandre]: Well, they started to make more dangerous approaches, Diavarra hit the post a least on two ocations, and Tiavas in Tsalapaní's side got a yellow after making a harsh entry on Isdriva. [Xiava]: I thought, and i say this i really thought Tsalapaní would get away with the win there and then, but just then a cross from Liandres into the box met Isdriva who shot, had his shot blocked by Yirapa, with the ball ending up at the feet of Tsalapaní defender Varrés Disquilva who didn't see Disquiverria approaching him from behind. [Liandre]: We all saw it, Disquiverria swept the ball from Disquilva's feet and sent the ball clean past Yirapa, with the match now tied 1-1! [Xiava]: It isn't over! Right after that goal, from kick-off Tsilvaña got really close to the net, but got tackled by Libre defender Ferrán Lisquerva who earned a yellow, but it worked since Tsilvaña wasn't able to convert the following free-kick, meaning the game would now go into extra time! [Liandre]: And six minutes after the 90 minutes ended, Libre had to take a corner after failing a shot, but Disquiverria passed it backwards to Lisquerva who sent it into the box to make contact with Diavarra's head, which finally earned Libre the lead! [Xiava]: We all thought they had won, but they still had 24 minutes to go due to the extra time, still Tsilvaña pushed Tiavas on one of his counterattacks earning himself a yellow card. [Liandre]: But after a lot more pressure from Libre, and attempts by Tsalapaní to get a goal, Disvilaxia from Tsalapaní attempted to cross it to Tsilvaña when Lisquerva crashed into him, earning himself his second yellow and getting sent off 5 minutes before the end of the match! [Xiava]: Tsilvaña took the free kick and missed, but after receiving a pass, Diavarra lost the ball to Disvilaxia who sent a missile into the top-left of Libre's net and scored! With only 3 minutes before the match ended! It was then most of us thought of one thing... Penalties. [Liandre]: And on to pens we go! Both teams gather, have a team chat and then Libre goes first! With Disquiverria taking the pen. He shot it right past Yirapa. [Xiava]: For Tsalapaní, their top goalscorer Randé Tsilvaña, who sent it right, with Astiveilla diving left, its tied again! [Liandre]: Next for Libre they had Diavarra, who sent it right but had the pen BLOCKED! Yirapa guessing the direction he took. [Xiava]: The stadium went into silence as Andreís Diraberua stepped up for Tsalapaní, sending the ball down the middle, and scoring the pen, giving Tsalapaní the lead! [Liandre]: Isdriva for Libre shot it into the post, and the ball went in! [Xiava]: For Tsalapaní this time would be Pablo Divixsea who shot at the post, the ball very unluckily bouncing off into Astiveilla's gloves and being deflected in a pretty unlucky shot. [Liandre]: With that it was tied, but Liandres did his duty converting for Libre after sending it to the top left. [Xiava]: Disvilaxia would not fail Tsalapaní in this moment when he sent it to the middle. [Liandre]: And for Libre, Andreís Yiarapa who shares names with Tsalapanís GK! He prepared to shoot but sent it wide! [Xiava]: And finally to sentence the match, Julio Esarca for Tsalapaní made his shot to the right, and scored! Sending Tsalapaní into a party and into the Semi-Finals! [Liandre]: A really intense game with notable moments on both sides, and a Flop for Libre, who despite having TWO players with 30 or more goals in this competition, crash out against their rivals! [Xiava]: And their rival was pretty obvious from the onset as at the same time as that happened, Bixas-Vynitiná had already wrapped up in Myva's stadium! [Liandre]: The statics were 57% possetion for Bixas, 43% for the D.U.V. with Bixas making 22 shots, 9 on goal, and Vynitiná making 14 shots with 4 on goal, but despite that the D.U.V. was the only team in the quarters to not score a goal. [Xiava]: It was obvious, the first half started slow, with Bixas probing the defense, but by the second half things speeded up, when Irrasvasquia passed the ball to Armatez who, from out of the box sent a ball curving straight into the bottom-left corner, giving Bixas the lead. [Liandre]: Vynitiná made a cross on the 64th minute bu- [Xiava]: It was easily deflected by the defense! [Liandre]: You really wanna finish this to get to the preview of the semis don't you? [Xiava]: On the 76th Richava cut through Vynitinás back-3 and rolled the ball into the net, sealing the match! And basically securing Bixas spot in the final. [Liandre]: You mean the semi- [Xiava]: Bixas will be in the final! [Liandre]: Uh- ok... Well on to the overview for semis... [Xiava]: Well, Bixas-Tsalapaní will be interesting, we already know their tactics... Stall for time, and counter whenever possible, but we'll be ready for it, and unlike Libre be able to push towards their goal and on to the final! [Liandre]: Shame Pablo didn't even show up today, i could do with some balance to the argument... but well... As for Mytapixas-Priava, all i suggest is get some popcorn and get ready for the match, since i have no idea who'll end up prevailing, it could be any of the two, Barvas could get his third title with Mytapixas, after his debut 3 years ago when he was 18, and the previous title they won last year! Or Fransquixa, Indrava, Pivarra and company, could secure victory for Priava, and potentially win the league, adding to Priava's already large silverware collection. [Xiava]: Be on the lookout for both games, and for the next broadcast we'll make on them! [Liandre]: Finally you regained common sense. [Xiava]: You wouldn't understand, Bixas is a feeling, an emotion. [Liandre]: Anyways... Thank you for watching, this has been "Look into the League" presented by TVNC sports, and we'll see you soon! Have a nice day. The two presenters get up and shake hands as the camera zooms away and the transmission turns to ads.

A look into the league - Part 6, Matchdays 30-36. (And a brief look into the quarter-finals) After a short animated introduction, the scene opens in the TVNC studio, with Liandre and Xiava at the desk, as usual. [Liandre]: Ready? [Xiava]: Yes. [Liandre]: Alright, good afternoon everybody, you are currently watching TVNC's "Look into the league" a program where we do just that and take a look into the ryxtylopian league, matches, results and stats! And after a long wait we have finally finished the first stage of the tournament, we're all now getting ready for the quarter finals. [Xiava]: We are, and so are the 8 teams that qualified, so lets take a look at how the table ended up looking like. [Liandre]: Alright, so anyways going from top to bottom. Topping off the table we have Mytapixas! With 109 points! They are also the only team with 100 or more goals, and have the best goal difference this season with a staggering 72 in favor. [Xiava]: They have a really good chance at winning the title, but to be fair, most of their recent matches weren't too hard, so id still work on their defense if i was them. [Liandre]: Well, not too far behind we have Rio Priava with 107 points, Priava was probably the most balanced team this season, while behind them we have Libre with 99 points, tied with 4th placed Bixas also with 99 points with Libre having a +3 goal difference compared to Bixas. [Xiava]: Libre started to slump in the last matchdays, however i still see them as a possible finalist, im not too sure about Bixas, which compared to the other teams can be a bit "reckless" at times, they take a lot of risks, and are even more agressive than Mytapixas. [Liandre]: Well, we'll see soon. Now going to the bottom 4 of the top 8, Mytapixas will face 5th place Raquivas who ended up with 92 points having a good season, they only got 5th place yesterday after Isportivo, which was 5th, dropped to 6th after a draw, now having 91 points; they will face Priava in the quarter-finals. [Xiava]: Lets not forget about Tsalapaní in 7th, which was tied with raquivas for a while on points, they currently have 84, and they are looking like a pretty defensive side. [Liandre]: And finally Vynitiná in 8th with 75 points, beating out both Pinichaca and Myvas by a decent ammount. [Xiava]: Pinichaca and Myvas were both at some point in the top 8, and Pinichaca came close to retaking their spot, but they had harder opponents than the DUV. [Liandre]: Unfortunate for both, however they finished above both Universities, Ryxenia got 62 points and Saxatí 49, below them we have Qixas and Obriros, two teams that also had a shot at the top 8 earlier in the tournament, with Obriros actually being in the top 8 early on, but dropping as matches went on. [Xiava]: Well, but lets get to a surprise, in 15th place we have Carraizal! Which was on route to relegation in the earlier days of the tournament, having the worst goal difference back then and the least points. They changed coach mid-season and their new approach has worked to get them out of the relegation zone, a pretty good end to their season considering how harsh the path to avoid relegation looked. [Liandre]: What a comeback... Well going on, Ystiandes sits 16th after a mediocre season and San Liarvas 17th after dropping from mid-table. [Xiava]: Tirilpense is 18th, after avoiding relegation on at least 2 occations, not their best performance but they stayed afloat, good for them. [Liandre]: In 19th we have Cintral Liipíca, they started in the top 8, but have been constantly dropping, they have never been in the relegation spots, but they did get VERY close to relegation at the end, they were only 1 point above relegation. [Xiava]: Pinilaca also bearly avoided relegation, they also had the worst goal difference in the tournament with -57. [Liandre]: But in the end they avoided relegation, unlike Ryxtylopiana in 21st place and Garravas in 22nd, with 21 and 13 points respectivly, Garravas was doing a decent job to stay above relegation until the last two weeks, whilst Ryxtylopiana could have avoided relegation by winning one of their last matches, if they tied with Pinilaca in points they wouldn't have been relegated due to goal difference. [Xiava]: Well, maybe we'll see them in a season or two if they can perform well enough in the "B" Just as Xiava finishes talking, Pablo enters the room hurridly. [Pablo]: Sorry im late. [Liandre]: Well, i am severely dissapointed, after you finally arrived early for our last broadcast, i had a bit of hope left for you, i thought you had finally done away with that nasty habbit... Oh i was so wrong. [Pablo]: Come on, it isn't that bad... [Xiava]: Well, if you're interested in helping me here, we're about to move on to the goals section. [Pablo]: Oh sure, ill take care of it, just give me a sec... There we go! The Screen Changes to a table of the top goalscorers: Player Team Goals Scored Ezicaiel Barvas Mytapixas 38 Inzé Fransquixa Rio Priava 35 Andreís Richava Bixas 33 Randé Tsilvana Tsalapaní 33 Julio Indrava Rio Priava 32 Rauíl Disquerravia Isportivo Ryxenia 32 Rauíl Disquiverria Libre 31 Ezicaiel Xiviscarra Raquivas 31 Terado Irrasvasquia Bixas 30 Andreís Diavarra Libre 29 [Xiava]: Depending on how far Mytapixas is able to get Barvas could get goalscorer of the season. [Pablo]: Everybody is talking about him, his physical state is really good, he has good coordination with his teamates... I do see him being called up for our next international tournament. [Liandre]: We'll see if he finishes with the most goals or not in a bit, but what about assits? [Pablo]: On it. The Screen Changes to a table of the top assisters: Player Team Goals Assisted Enrico Irrasvasquia Mytapixas 48 Luque Pirrava Rio Priava 46 Andreís Yirapa Libre 45 Lardo Armatez Bixas 41 Marco Liandres Libre 39 [Liandre]: Mytapixas lead again. [Pablo]: We have to recognize, their team is currently a goal machine, i think they'll beat ra- [Liandre]: Pablo lets not get too ahead of ourselves, as after taking a look in the GK's we'll have a brief chat about each team's possibilities to pass through the quarters. [Pablo]: Oh then lets get to GK's already! Finally, the list of top goalkeepers shows up on screen: Player Team Saves Andreís Yirapa Tsalapaní 51 Julian Xirvés Unydo di Vynitiná 49 Isidro Darrias Raquivas 46 Marco Valandrés Bixas 45 Tincho Quilivixas Myvas 43 [Xiava]: Think Yirapa will leave Tsalapaní? [Liandre]: Maybe, i don't know, he depends a lot on his team's playstyle in my opinion, i dont know how he would do with a more agressive team, but he has a shot at goalkeeper of the season. [Pablo]: He does indeed. [Xiava]: Tsalapaní will have it hard against Libre, two different playstyles clashing against eachother, ill be on the lookout for that game. [Pablo]: Speaking of that game, what about the quarter finals? [Liandre]: Well, we should start with the first game, Mytapixas-Raquivas, both teams have performed well, Mytapixas of course is more offensive, Raquivas a bit more balanced, Raquivas does pretty well with converting corners. [Xiava]: But come on, Mytapixas has had the best attack, if they are able to maintain a good ammount of possetion they can win the match. [Pablo]: Ill have to agree with Xiava there, it may be a tough game but we could see a lot of goals on both sides. [Liandre]: Well, next up, we have Priava-Isportivo. [Pablo]: Priava will probably attempt to keep a lot of possetion and pressure Ispotivo, but they shouldn't underestimate them as they're also a pretty balanced team, they could go on the counter if Priava gets too agressive. [Liandre]: Either that or we'll see a balanced game with a lot of passes and only some opportunities to score. [Xiava]: Well, its the only game that wont be played in neutral ground. [Liandre]: It will be played in the Rivalda, but Priava will have to reserve about a third of the stadium for Isportivo fans, they did it at the Rivalda since it has a high capacity, and since both teams are from Ryxenia. Also the National Stadium was designated for the Libre-Tsalapaní game, so there weren't too many alternatives other than the Guivarra. [Xiava]: Interesting. [Liandre]: Well, moving on we have probably the most intense game between two rivals: Tsalapaní-Libre in the National Stadium! [Pablo]: Like we were saying before, two different styles of play, offense vs defense. [Xiava]: Libre must try to get any sort of lead they can, they wont be getting many chances from the corners, and they'll have to watch out for Randé, if he gets a single goal through, we can expect Tsalapaní to throw everybody at the back, and hold their advantage. [Pablo]: Tsalapaní will probably be playing their 4-4-1-1 formation on this one, either that or the 4-3-2-1. [Liandre]: If it goes to extra time Libre could be at a disadvantage, the pressure to score will be on. In penalties both teams are about the same, but Tsalapaní does have Yirapa in goal. [Xiava]: We'll have to wait for the result. [Liandre]: Well, finally we have Bixas-Vynitiná. [Xiava]: We really need to talk about this one? Bixas will win. [Pablo]: Vynitiná are the underdogs here, they'll probably need to take advantage of any mistake Bixas does, their over-agressiveness could result in an unexpected result. [Liandre]: I agree with that, but Vynitiná's defense has been shaky on ocations, you don't know which team you'll get to be fair, you could get a solid and balanced side, or one loosing possetion every 10 seconds. [Xiava]: Well, Bixas already won in my book. [Pablo]: Hope you're all excited for the quarters, ill probably watch the Mytapixas-Raquivas game. [Xiava]: Well ill DEFINITLEY watch the Bixas-Vynitiná match for sure. [Pablo]: Guess we'll conclude the broadcast here, i thank the audience for their time, we suggest that for matches if you go to one act civilized, dont be animals... please, and when i say that im mainly referring to people who'll watch Libre-Tsalapaní, just try to enjoy the game. [Liandre]: I agree with Pablo there, but anyways, thanks for watching our program, this has been "Look into the League" presented by TVNC sports, and we'll see you soon! Have a nice day. A look into the league - Part 5, Matchdays 24-30. After a short animated introduction, the scene opens in the TVNC studio, with Liandre and suprisingly Pablo for once, as well as 4 empty chairs. [Liandre]: Ready? [Pablo]: Mhm, i really hope this goes well, it seems like a good idea but we don't kn- [Liandre]: Good evening watchers, you are currently watching TVNC's "Look into the League!" where me and my coworkers look into the state of our league, matches and stats, we have it all here! And today we'll be joined by a few guests today. [Pablo]: We will. We'll be joined by a fan from each of the top 4 teams in the table! Which are currently: Mytapixas, Rio Priava, Libre and Bixas! [Liandre]: Originally it was only going to be the top 3, but recently since 4th place Bixas has closed the gap to the top 3 to 3 points, we've also decided to include a fan from their club, anyways, they should- The 4 fans from each of the teams mentioned enter. [Pablo]: Welcome! [Liandre]: Right, take a seat please! And please present yourselves to the audience. [Marco]: Thanks! Im Marco and as you may have noticed by my shirt im a Libre Supporter. [Darrio]: Im Darrio Viaixia and i support, the largest club in this country. [Randé]: Then why are you wearing that disgusting shirt? [Darrio]: We're already getting started i see, Priava's the largest just saying... [Randé]: Ugh you chicken, anyways im Randé and i support Club Atlético Bixas. [Julian]: I was going to make a joke on your stadium but i should introduce myself first; Im Julian and i support Mytapixas, current table leaders! [Marco]: That was our spot a few days ago... [Darrio]: You botled it. [Marco]: Shut up! [Liandre]: Alright, alright lets calm down a bit, but i really hope you enjoy yourselves, after a few questions me and Pablo have prepared. [Pablo]: Indeed, the race to top off the group is getting really intense, so who do you think will finish off first? [Julian]: Us obviously! We lead already and have the top goalscorer this season! [Darrio]: Pffft- Come on! You're only ahead of us by one point! And Priava is still unbeaten! 36 games unbeaten!! [Randé]: You bribe the refs. [Darrio]: No we don't! We're just better, we have the best and most valuable team here. [Marco]: You're again underestimating us, we have the second best attack here, but a better defense than your team Julian, you only have as many goals as you have beacayse you score a lot against small and weak teams. [Julian]: Well that's rich comming from a Libre supporter. Randé and Darrio chuckled after Marco's comment as Pablo took the mic. [Pablo]: Well, both of your attacks are incredibly similar i do agree with Marco's comment, but your recent defeats complicate stuff when it comes to taking first place. [Marco]: But- [Darrio]: Well there you go ladies and gents, its between Rio Priava and Mytapixas for first. [Liandre]: And what about you Randé, do you think Bixas has a shot at first? [Randé]: Honestly, no, we depend too much on the results ahead of us, but if we keep winning we could have a shot at 3rd or even 2nd. [Marco]: Or you could drop to 5th if Isportivo is able to catch up. [Randé]: They lost with Raquivas! They wont beat us in points. [Liandre]: Well that's enough for that, but its almost assured all of your teams will pass to the next round, now do you think you'll be able to reach the finals? [Darrio]: Yes and we'll win another title easily. [Randé]: Like you did in the B? [Julian]: My man Ezcaiel Barvas would just run circles around you. [Marco]: Well, responding to the actual question, i think we can reach the finals, and we'll once again humilliate Tsalapaní like we usually do. Well if they pass in top 8 of course. [Liandre]: For you a win would be pretty significant, i mean libre hasn- [Marco]: Yeah yeah, i know i know... [Randé]: Over a decade! [Darrio]: Over a decade! [Julian]: We all know, over a decade! [Marco]: This year may be different. [Darrio]: No it wont, it was just a good season, but for you that does not mean winning the cup. [Randé]: Wouldn't agree with a chicken more... [Pablo]: Well, and what about the players? [Liandre]: This time we wont show the tables, just start: out of your players who do you think is the best so far? [Julio]: Is this really a contest? [Darrio]: Well, Fransquixa and Indrava are having amaizing seasons, but i do have to admit Barvas is really good. [Randé]: Richava is better, his conversion is better overall, misses less chances... [Marco]: Randé, you're missing the point they're trying to make, Barvas is still incredibly young for the performances he's giving us. [Liandre]: Barvas, the wonder-kid of this season. [Julian]: I really want him to stay here in Mytapixas, last season he was okay, this one he's been amaizing. [Pablo]: Then good luck having him survive the transfer market. [Darrio]: But we can't forget the best midfielder this season: Marco Lyvandxe! [Marco]: Liandres is better than him, he has more goals, and he's a better kicker and header. [Darrio]: But he doesn't have a lot of coordination, i think we can all agree on that. [Marco]: That's no- [Randé]: So you two are going to ignore Armatez?? [Liandre]: Armatez and Lyvandxe are pretty even, despite Armatez having way more goals. [Pablo]: Armatez is an experienced player after all, Lyvandxe is a new prospect. [Liandre]: Im surprised you all mostly agreed with Barvas being the best forward so far. [Darrio]: Second best. [Julio]: Oh shut up, he IS the best. [Pablo]: Well, forget what i just said, the final question to finish is... if your team doesn't win, who do you think will win the league this season? [Darrio]: Well, i think we have a really good chance of winning, if i had to pick a second option it would be Mytapixas. [Julio]: Why thank you, id same the same, but with your team being my second option to winning the tournament. [Randé]: Honestly id probably go with Tsalapaní, they have a pretty good defense, and if they can prolong a game till penalties Yirapa can pull of some magic. [Marco]: You really think those idiots can win the thing? [Randé]: Look, im trying to be objective here. [Marco]: Come on, it will be hard but we have 2 top goalscorers and the deadliest attack here, Libre's winning it this season. [Darrio]: There it is. [Randé]: Come on, you dont win anymore! Your team was really good god knows when and today you're constantly battling either the top 4 or relegation!! [Marco]: Please, this year will be the good one! [Julio]: For us. [Darrio]: Stooooooooppppp... You all know who rules here. [Randé]: Bixas, you [_____] chicken. [Darrio]: Oh so you want to start this again? [Randé]: Yeah mister. "B" [Darrio]: Stand up then, i was putting up with your smell throught all of this! Come on, stand up! As the 4 guests quickly start getting into an argument, Liandre pivots the microphone back. [Liandre]: Well that was that, i enjoyed it but we should probably close up before this gets nastier. [Pablo]: At least i taught you i CAN arrive early. [Liandre]: Yeah well, hopefully you get rid of your nasty arriving late habbit next transmission. [Pablo]: Relaxxxxx... i will. [Liandre]: Are you sure? [Pablo]: Yes im sure. [Liandre]: But are you sure, sure? [Pablo]: Yes...i am sure. [Liandre]: But are you sure, sure, sure? [Pablo]: ...now you're ju- [Liandre]: And that will be it for this transmission, thank you for watching TVNC and we'll see you on the last matchday of the first stage of the Ryxtylopian League A! [Pablo]: Oh come on! You didn't let me do the sign-off again! Liandre and Pablo get up and head towards the still arguing guests as the camera zooms away and the transmission turns to ads.
