    Welcome to The West Pacific (TWP), Menami!  We look forward to seeing you on the regional message board and suggest you peruse the forums to get a feel for how we operate.  There is much to do and get involved in.  There is some excellent reading for recently-arrived nations contained in links near the top of TWP Regional Message Board - just get stuck in!  By the way, with a motto such as yours, you should fit in well here! The only difference between you and most of the rest of us is that we think we have some idea about what we are doing :)

    Would this be an official or unofficial visit?  I have a youthful marionette who might be willing to 'mosey along' down the road. But, on the other hand I might give birth to a new one which could have "New Zealand" somewhere it its name. :) Let me think on it.

    With the exception of The Commonwealth of the Royal Australian Republic, TWPDA nations moved there about 3 hours ago.  To me it suggests a one-man band with 3 of the nations having been recently refounded in Lazarus just prior to moving to TWPDA.  I am left with the feeling that before too long there will be 'trouble at mill' since the region's name is TWPDA and not the WPDA.  Maybe someone should pay them a visit to 'case the joint'?

    Further, there are no rules concerning elevation while exercizing one's right to Free Speech. 

     

    But of course, unless you are elevated (on your feet) nobody is going to hear you!

     

    Sorry, the last bottle of the 2007 vintage was taken, without my permission in 2009, by my son to his girlfriend's parent's house as a gift when he was invited for lunch.  :angry:

    Can offer you a bottle of chocolate wine if that would be of interest to you? :)

    Those who make it impossible for others to enjoy their right to Freedom of Speech should be subject to a TWP court martial! Where's Archuism? :)

    So, this is one of the duties of being an ambassador - wow!  Much, much detailed work went into that.  Just out of interest, why did TAR, with only 167 nations, get selected from the hundreds of possible regions to have an ambassador?

    I know what it is like to look at an organization that I was a pivotal part of but now on the periphery. I am a member of the Royal Air Force Ornithological Society and have lead many expeditions over the years to out of the way places in the UK. Now I am residing in the US, I am denied even the simple pleasure of being able to go 'birding' with my companions of 25 years or more :( Anyway, enough of me - more of you please. Stick with us.

    Foreign Affairs Needs You!, Sign-up as an TWP Ambassador

    Not sure what exactly a TWP Ambassador would/should do other than that outlined in the brief brief of November 2012. Uncertain whether I have sufficient experience of NS to fulfill such a role and would wish to know what the rules of 'engagement' with the host region would be. It appears as if there is a team of ambassadors. How many do we have and where are they - largest regions or a combination of the most unstable/potentially threatening/etc? Would appreciate further info before committing myself but have 6 puppets which could be used as a 'starter pack' :)
