The direction of NSR was not my province. Being root admin and doing the graphics is no big-deal if you know what you're doing and you enjoy doing it. What is a great pain is the work time you have spent on the forum only for it to become a wasteland! I know that everyone that's been in that position feels the same way.

Strange, IP (Insane Power) started a region called The Lexicon! The region is still around, but I don't think IP is.

Hatred? I do hope not. Although I can quite imagine that the type of person that actively prostitutes themselves into getting positions of moderation within NationStates are the very same people that would exhibit that sort of reaction....especially if they do not get what they expect as preferential treatment due to them because of their "position".

I would have more tolerance for ads if I could decide for myself where they were exhibited - not directly under the title as happens in Invisionfree with non-adblocker assisted browsers. I also remove the maker ad tag on the collars of my shirts - if they want to advertise on a shirt that I have purchased, than they should pay me for the privilege. Maybe we should ask Max Barry to pay us for using his game as a recreational tool - and charge him a few cents every time we mention his name; after-all, business is business!

Despite an enthusiastic and promising beginning, and save for the odd pie-in-the-sky attempt to lure members back with an assortment of scrolling warnings of doom and the inactive ex-President returning fleetingly to demand his Presidency back - only to return to his inactivity, the NSR is now effectively non-active. Root admin is to be transferred to the founder Punk Daddy.

Nationstates 2 failed because Max smelled money, and so will this. What's his problem, aren't his books selling all that well? He'd do better for the membership of NS and society in general if he made a decent stand against NS Nazis and their like!

Would be better to include the Nazi belief in their Nordic racial superiority over other races, and their belief of the subjugation of other "sub-species" of the human race! That is the true difference between common-or-garden Fascism, and Nazism.

Actually we are unique amongst all the feeder regions in that we are situated on a cloud, so given that clouds move almost continuously without warning or direction, anybody, and in some cases, everybody, can in theory be or become a citizen of TWP.

I'm sure things will be sorted to everyone's satisfaction, eventually. There has been a conflict between responsibilities, communication and assumption.
