Greetings West Pacificans and Friends, The Holy Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Sacred Order of The West Pacific has been in need of a rejuvenation, and it is my hope that with these new appointments, we will see a resurgence in organization and activity in the Ministry and our presence in diplomatic matters in NS World Affairs. Foreign Affairs is often one of the larger tasks for a NationStates region, and it needs a combination of familiarity with our region, and the regions we associate with, as well as those we may have troubled relations with. It needs an understanding of how our region works, and an ability to express the nature of our community and it's cultures. And....it takes an investment of your time. I have the honor to introduce God Emperor, returning to the position of Holy Minister for Foreign Affairs. He has an established history of service to TWP in Foreign Affairs, and I look forward to working with him as we continue to move forward. This time though, he will not be without assistance, as I am also pleased and honored to announce Karland will be serving as Deputy Holy Minister for Foreign Affairs. His service to TWP is well established and he has great vision for bringing activity and organization to our Foreign Affairs. Please join me in thanking and congratulating God Emperor and Karland. *applauds*

I regret to announce that I have recieved a telegram of resignation from Intelligent Holograms as RL has taken over his life. I've wished him well in his struggles with the evil lands of RL, but this does leave us here in the NS world of The West Pacific with the need to fill the position of Holy Minister of Foreign Affairs. What are the specifications for such a position ? - The Minister will lead TWP Foreign Affairs in coordination with regional policies. - The Minister will work with and delegate duties to a Deputy Minister - The Minister will work with the Delegate on treaty negotiations - The Minister will keep our fellow GCR regions as our foreign affairs priority - The Minister will ensure an update is prepared and sent to our Embassies at least once a month. - The Minister will recruit and coordinate Ambassadors to ensure the activity of our Embassies around NationStates. - The Minister will have moderator authority over the FA forums, and will be in charge or accepting/denying forum embassies. - The Minister will ensure that we are in compliance with our Treaties, and that our allies are also in compliance. - The Minister will serve the policies of the Delegate - The Minister will be available to answer any questions regarding Foreign Affairs to The Holy Grand Assembly. While I expect Ministers to be self-starters and manage their areas in the manner that works best for them, it is important that the FA Minister work closely with me to ensure our foreign policies and relations are consistent with our regional policies. And I want to re-emphasis the need for regular updates to be issued through our Embassies. Our failure to keep up with this is a great disappointment to me. If you read between the lines there, you'll see that I'm not just looking for a Minister, but also for a Deputy (or two). So don't hesitate to apply, The West Pacific needs You ! Once more, allow me to thank everyone that shared their interest in serving in TWP Foreign Affairs leadership. Foreign Affairs can be one of the larger tasks for an NS region, and it needs a combination of familiarity with our region, and the regions we associate with, as well as those we may have troubled relations with. It needs an understanding of how our region works, and an ability to express the nature of our community and it's cultures. And....it takes an investment of your time. Please join me in Congratulating Former Speaker Intelligent Holograms as he takes over as our Foreign Affairs Minister. IH has served TWP in multiple capacities and has multi-regional experience in NS world affairs. I have every confidence in his abilities to take on this role in TWP. He and I have also discussed Deputy Ministers, and I will leave those announcements to him. Thank you IH, and Congrats ! *applauds*
