we had a 10 year old Senator in the Meritocracy when I joined.
Forgot his name. Winni? Do you remember?
Gosh I suppose he'd be 20-21 now.
*shudders*
I bet he remembers you as fondly as you remember him.

I would have offered my services, but I have no experience whatsoever with leadership of foreign affairs, and am not sure I'd do a good job of upholding TWP foreign policy (since I'm not even sure what it is).
FYI: I signed up to be an ambassador under punk's watch, but was never assigned embassies.

Osiris appears to be holding it together
This deserves to be a separate news story in its own right, surely?

May you return soon.

Congratulations Bach!
And of course, welcome to the West.

Cool! Lower endo caps are good. I think.
Depends how you look at it. From the perspective of the Delegate/Guardians, it's good, as it's easier for them to maintain their power. For new nations, it can possibly be a little bit off-putting.
I like this policy btw. A tiered system would be nice to have but in practice, I think, too much of a hassle to be worth it.

Fare thee well!
I'll be away for the next few hours... while I sleep.

Any chance this can take place a few hours earlier? I'd have liked to drop by, even if for a moment.

Is this for real?
In the GP posting, Mad Jack replied saying the whistleblower was Jamie (whilst also claiming other allegations referred to in this article to be untruthful).

This all sounds awesome so far - people are talking about NS GP dying out will be very pleased, I'm sure. The strenghtening role of the SC was something I'd been hoping for (from an objective standpoint) so that that particular dimension of GP could enhance the rest.
The 'Delegate Elect' point looks... interesting.

There seems to be a line drawn between the two areas of having Nazi-related ideas in your name/motto/flag, and actually promoting the interest of the established group of NS Nazis.
I personally favour mercy if it's the case that a random dude(tte) just wanted to have something questionable as their theme and wanted to play a political simulator, unaware as to the whole Nazi thing, rather than outright banjection regardless of such scenarios.
Upto you though, naturally.

10/10 - Would read again.

#thewestpacific is our IRC channel. Feel free to pay a visit and make yourself at home.
No it's not. It's #the_west_pacific.
EDIT: Never mind, didn't know #thewestpacific existed as well. They lied to me. D:

Same goes for me.

No preferences. I'm OK with any.

Hmm...
The nature of this thread has been an idea in my mind recently. With regards to internal workings, we seem to be 'functional' - meaning, for me, just about working. Not chaotic. With regards to foreign affairs/military matters, we seem to be more reactive than pro-active.
Though that is not necessarily a bad thing (being reactive is at the least better than being inactive), I can't help but wonder if any of the Guardians and the Delegate actually have any plans for further development of TWP as a region? Anything in the short term, or even the long run? Structure-wise? Gameplay-wise?
I just fear that stagnation of activity will worsen. The more stuff we have going on in the region, the more new nations will want to join in the fun.

- 13 minutes ago: The Theocracy of Sentimental Journey ejected and banned The Benevolent Dictatorship of The Dourian Embassy from the region.
It appears as though we have some very good actors in the Osiris cabinet, staging fights and what not. Official statement from the government to follow, but I doubt it's very necessary. xD

tl;dr Durk wins?
I always thought the Pan-Sinker Security Pact was still in effect, just Osiris asked the other signatories to hold off of all action until the end of the coup. And now here we are a the end of the coup and boom, Osiris themselves say they're quitting it.
This just says 'Osiris surrenders' all over for me.
Also, lol 'no ill will remains'. In writing, perhaps.

Can I join in? I've never helped someone coup a region before.
Oh, and welcome!
