I welcome them, for what it's worth. No news is without bias. TRT provides another lens through which to see GP events.

You're telling me the best defence to a Guardian calling a member a fuckwit is that the owner probably doesn't care?
The fact that this might frighten off new players who want a better environment, or new players who are quite young, or even existing players such as myself doesn't come into it at all? Or even how the terms used in the fight are not generally seen as common friendly parlance and were actually quite rude?
If I called a Guardian a fuckwit I wonder what the repercussions would be for me.

In case someone might suspect a coup, I'll post here confirming the above.
As of right now I'll be away and won't be able to fulfill the last of my duties of this term. West is named Deputy Speaker and will finish up what I started until my successor takes the role.

There wasn't even a mild warning about ToS guidelines here? Really? I'm pretty sure I signed up to this forum with the assurance that everyone else signed up to the same terms I did - no vulgar or hateful messages being one of those terms. For future reference: If you are going to war with words on a public stage, please use crafty and interesting words that are not so crude to at least try and entertain your audience. If there is a deep, hatred-filled conflict between future participating combatants, it should stay between them. There are multiple avenues both on-site and off-site for them kinda fightin' words. Medio, for what it's worth, I think you were well within your right to make that comment.

Important note:
Members of the RA are reminded that this thread is to be used to notify your fellow members of any extended leaves/absences you may have to take. It's not permission, just an obligation.
As a rule of thumb, it would be appreciated if you posted here if you're connection/activity will be hectic due to RL, going to be away for at least a week and/or will be missing the next Roll Call(s). Alternatively for the latter shoot a PM to myself or whoever is the Speaker at the time.
Of course, feel free to inform us about any nice holidays/weekends away, and don't forget to tell us what you'll be bringing back for us!

First of all,

Secondly, how exactly will just an adoption of a theme change the status quo? The regions you cited, alongside their themes, have their respective unique regional hierarchies and 'democratic' systems to accompany their theme. Will our own system more reflect our theme? Obviously not go for the full on theocracy, but, for instance, have all official dispatches/updates have a slant on them, or parody a spiritual slant?
