I have the power to do ANYTHING. At this point, the guardians and I are the only government.
My goal was to instate an active government. They will have to recognize my authority and that of the guardians in order to have me recognize their 'Authority'.
Indeed.
It would appear, based on my own cursory glance at the state of your forum, that you can do 'anything' except 1. dissolve the offsite government, 2. institute your own government to replace it, and 3. have those that are meant to be your 'governors' or whatever counsel you about disagreements in private instead of on the public areas of the board. While I completely understand that the community here in the West is different from The Pacific, I highly doubt very many of the past Delegates within this region would tolerate this sort of behavior on such a wide scale. It would be unthinkable in The Pacific for myriad reasons.
To clarify a few issues that have been brought up with me directly by some within this region and elsewhere, I was asked by the Delegate to provide insight into how the New Pacific Order operates. I provided a basic outline of how we have structured our government to him. I did not endorse it and I did not offer to help with the management of your regional government.
The provincial system that we recently reintroduced in The Pacific has been under discussion and development for over 10 months. If I believed the Delegate here would try to implement such a system without consulting his Guardians or laying the groundwork or planning seemingly at all then I would have refrained from providing the information.
It has never been my aim to harm the community of the West Pacific in any way. We in The Pacific have valued the friendship and camaraderie that we receive here for a very long time. It is unfortunate, in my opinion, that my seeking to share how we do things and have organized our system after 12 years of trial and error has led to some here crying foul and decrying the NPO as the source of your current headaches.
We look forward to a time when the government of the West Pacific is once again stable enough to maintain dialogue conducive to our mutual cooperation. Until that time, however, I am fine with keeping the Embassies closed.

Official Communication from the New Pacific Order
To the West Pacific:Since it is apparent that there is no clear governmental structure within The West Pacific and the Delegate does not have sufficient influence to manage how the population deals with allied leaders, this Embassy is closed until further notice. If at some future point the Delegate can assert enough authority to manage the system, we may consider reopening relations. We do not make this decision lightly and are saddened that the longstanding relationship between the Pacific and the West has devolved to this point. However, it has been made very clear over the last few days that the current offsite community within this region is no longer friendly towards the New Pacific Order. In the interests of continued peace, we believe it to be in our best interests to close this embassy, the embassy on the New Pacific Order forum, and the on-site embassy.Signed,Ivan MoldaviRuler of PierconiumDelegate of the PacificEmperor of the New Pacific Order -
If by give up you mean refuse to engage a wannabe troll, yes.
He didn't give her any more time or attention than she earned herself through the merit of her remarks or the honesty of her intentions. She went into the thread with the intent to troll using inane, poorly-thought-out, and provocative tangential commentary. It eventually devolved into outright baiting after Pierconium chose not to engage her intentional fallacies and digressions.
The only thing that surprises me is that he was patient enough to grant her any time at all. Pierconium may disagree with me, but I think that he gave her the benefit of the doubt at first, which was quite generous.
This is quite correct.
Considering that her initial tone was hostile, and her argument very poorly structured, I still attempted to respond to her questions. I provided her with explanations of those parts she misunderstood and even though empirical evidence is not a necessary component of a theoretical essay, I provided her with a relatively long list of examples. She completely missed the point.
I even went further and elaborated for her benefit in explaining in very simple terms the concept as it was initially expressed with the NPO removal of certain elements of The Pacific in antiquity.
At this point, it became apparent that she (is it she? there are lots of 'anumia' nations floating around - seems like one of those fake multi accounts where players claim siblings are controlling WA nations - oh well, not my concern) would not accept any answer because she could not understand the concepts involved. The devolved to her making baseless generalizations and insults towards myself. So I decided to disengage.
To the point however, if one wishes to see a contemporary example of the concepts spoken of in the 'Myth' at work, one only needs to review the past few days of TSP's regional message board. Many of their inhabiting nations are becoming disillusioned with the government there (right or wrong) and the theory is playing out publicly.

I know who wrote it
But I still believe it could have been better organized and written.
No one has brought up Unibot. We were not even aware of his presence in The Pacific until now. Your statement is misplaced.
The perception in TWP, and in the wider NS world is that The Pacific and NPO are associated with UDL. This perception is expressed frequently in the NS forums. It is a PR problem.
To expect others to ignore that NPO Senators have been Lazarus Delegates and thus allied to FRA and UDL is illogical.
I doubt it could be better written. Organization is a matter of opinion I guess.
This is not a definitive piece, it is an introductory article that is meant to lead to discussion (which it has) and further development (which it will).
Regarding the rest of your post, your misconceptions do not alter reality. The Pacific is not allied with the UDL. The 'wider NS world' is simply wrong. It is not the first time.
I am well aware of the benefits of 'marketing', I personally just do not care. Luckily I am not the PR person for the NPO. That has never been my ambition.
I do find it somewhat disappointing that someone such as yourself would fall for such a position. Who has expressed this rumour to you specifically beyond just 'the people on the NS forum said so'?

>.< Oh ffs. You're going to make me read that whole thing, aren't you. Then I'm gonna get all mad and sad and in a kerfluffle because the article is going to imply TP's ties to the UDL are more than the Senate is vocalizing.
After my coffee.
And my stupid RL meeting at 11:30.
Also... Who wrote the article?
I do not believe anything within the article will imply that The Pacific is somehow associated with the UDL. As I stated earlier, no such ties exist. There might have been elements within the Pacific Senate in the past that chose to undertake such associations but those elements have been removed.

Did you make an account here just to post that?
And to address any other concerns expressed by The West Pacific government regarding my region's involvement with defender filth. I tend to speak with some authority on the subject and have been known to oppose non-feeder groups in the past.

The Pacific is not allied to the UDL. Period.
To claim that past associations on a regional level equate to present circumstance in the face of official government disagreement is illogical. Is TWP still part of the defender community because of past involvement with the ADN?
Unibot is one nation in the region. He is not a member of the Senate and is most assuredly not the Emperor. There are nations within these halls that have associations elsewhere that could be called suspect but that does not mean that the region as a whole is automatically linked to those suspect parties.

Since I do not operate under a system of imposed management (not an insult, just a fact), I am perfectly fine with anything being stated here.
