They owed friends of mine in Germany and England alot of back royalties. Took alot of lawyering, and even then they sent the money a small amount at a time. Then came the dragged out process to get them to release their catalogs on CD. EMI didn't think they'd sell, but finally manufactured 20k of each album....which sold out in a month.
