To the residents of The West Pacific:

The Pacific and the New Pacific Order realize that it was wrong to make mention of Cassius Cerebella's participation in the West Pacific Armed Forces in its statement regarding UIAF meddling in Osiris without proper clarification of his background. And in this, we apologize for not having reached out to TWP government to let them know of his involvement. However, we strongly believe that publishing logs that display the true character of the imperialist forces in regards to GCR sovereignty was a must, for it's the duty of a feeder region to inform its GCR brethren of wrongdoings towards them. We absolutely understand TWP's frustration at the fact that Cassius Cerebella's persona in TWP was mentioned in the statement in a way that may be misconstrued as TWP involvement. That was not intentional.

It was the intention of Senator AMOM to clarify who the person in the log was, not to suggest wrongdoing by TWP or to slander TWP -- Cassius uses "Arch" as his standard handle on IRC, but it is obvious that the conversation that was had was coming from his persona in the UIAF. Had it not been, he wouldn't claim to know or say what he did. AMOM simply wanted to clarify who that was, and the nickname used may have caused confusion for a reader. The Pacific still believes in duality, and hopes that its friends in The West Pacific will be acknowledge our respect for them and our regret that the statement was worded in a way that could be interpreted as us slandering TWP.

We acknowledge that this was a failing in communication; indeed, we should've contacted Westwind or TWP's ambassador to TP about our intentions to submit this log publicly before doing so so that it could've gone more smoothly, and so that the mix-up regarding TWP's involvement could've been avoided. While this sort of mix-up shouldn't be necessary, it is understandable why and how it happened: duality is a fickle thing.

We hope that our friendship and alliance with The West Pacific will continue to stand, and send our best wishes to our western brothers. Further questions, comments, and concerns may be sent to myself -- it is our hope that this will be sorted diplomatically and in a way that benefits all involved parties to the greatest extent possible.

Signed,

Senate of the New Pacific Order

The Pacific

Well, scratch out my going to the theater to see it... My little daugther's Cheer Championship changed date and time... and it will be held now on Nov 23rd at 10AM to 3PM (the special is at 2PM here).... So yeah... You can't break a 9 year old's heart like that. There are not enough TARDISes in the world to fix it later....

So I will have to catch a reprise on BBC America later that night
