Westwind Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Welcome to the Embassy of The Pacific ! Let us know if you lack anything, only the best for our Feeder brethren. The liquor cabinet was fully stocked today, but you never know who might try to sneak a bottle out....
Karpathos Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 We thank our Western cousins for the Embassy. I look forward to our future cooperation.
Crazy Slots Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 An Announcement From The New Pacific Order Order Regarding May 10th's Personnel Shakeup Henceforth, the Pacifican Senate shall now include Feux and Karpathos. Feux shall serve as the NPO Senator of WA Affairs and Karpathos shall administrate security affairs. Karpathos is a former NPO Senator and Feux has served in many roles, such as Grand Prefect of the Praetorian Guard, during his time in the New Pacific Order. Furthermore, Milograd has been chosen by the Senate to serve as the public and diplomatic face of the New Pacific Order. Senator Gaspo said, "Milograd's extensive experience interacting with every type of NS player, and his notable ability to energize and relate to individuals otherwise disinterested in gameplay matters, indicated to me that he possessed a strong personality and had the ability to truly connect with people from all corners of this game. The Senate could not think of a more qualified, recognized, or recently-unemployed candidate for this position. The Senate recognizes Milograd's longstanding NPO citizenship and extensive participation in all aspects of regional life. While he has been notably active outside The Pacific lately, his dedication to the NPO has never wavered, and in keeping with The Pacific's longstanding respect for the principle of duality, we consider Milograd to be a citizen in good standing and perfectly suited for this and what positions likely lie ahead for him." A mean old man, a long time Pacifican, former head of the WA Committee and PNN, was also chosen to serve as an Attaché. These changes mark the beginning of a new and bright era for The Pacific that is guaranteed to be interesting. Hail Pacifica! Regards, Milograd NPO Attaché of Foreign Affairs
Crazy Slots Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 An AnnouncementFrom TheNew Pacific OrderRegarding The South Pacific's Closure of Embassies with the NPO The Pacific is disappointed that The South Pacific has chosen to throw out a longstanding alliance thanks to mere pettiness and over-zealously determined, uninformed speculation about the NPO's involvement in Milograd's coup of the South Pacific. The Pacific did not have the resources to support the Coalition of the South Pacific during Milograd's coup due to exams and other pressing circumstances. Alas, it seems that the Coalition is incapable of respecting and acknowledging the truthful explanation they have been repeatedly given. The South Pacific's hypocrisy is equally disappointing. The South Pacific slapped Antariel, a convicted felon in the Pacific, on the wrist for trying to overthrow its legal delegate Krulltopia, and despite what punishments the Coalition may claim to have distributed, Antariel is currently a member of The South Pacific's executive cabinet. Furthermore, The South Pacific's leading members have been self-righteous, undiplomatic, and offensive in their recent diplomatic affairs with the New Pacific. The South Pacific's statement is full of falsehoods. The Pacific's statement regarding the coup clearly shows this: Regarding the present situation in The South Pacific, The Pacific would like to express our belief that interference by us in favour of either the Coalition of The South Pacific or the Milograd-controlled Delegacy is not in the best interests of The South Pacific. We express our support for the residents to decide for themselves which system of governance is the appropriate one for them, and do not believe it appropriate to lend our weight to one side or another as The South Pacific resolves this internal conflict. It is unsurprising that the spineless, faux-neutral Coalition cannot respect neutrality in a conflict; indeed, this is yet another example of the Coalition's hypocrisy. When a Coalition-aligned nation showed up in ThePacific and spammed our message board with recruitment advertisements asking for help, we were assured that the Coalition was not involved and we gave the Coalition the courtesy of assuming that it was true. Yet, when we gave them our statement about why we weren't deployed in support of them, they chose to whine, complain, and spit on a longstanding relationship between our regions. In a similar incident, the Pacific did not publicly object to The South Pacific's housing of Antariel within its sovereignty out of respect to its government, and yet here we have not been shown the same courtesy. The Pacific values duality and has done so for nearly a decade. The Cabinet's petty statement confirms what concerns we had about our relationship with The South Pacific; TSP wants to have their cake and eat it too, and they are unable to accept the circumstances regarding The Pacific's involvement, or lack thereof, in the coup. Regards,MilogradNPO Attaché of Foreign Affairs
Westwind Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 We too are disapointed in the lack of respect, and disregard for fact, shown by the statements made by the TSP Coalition, and we support our Pacific cousins without reservation. Also, congratulations and best wished on the personnel changes in The Pacific. A government that is refreshed to maintain it's vitality and service to the region is a government to be respected.
punkdaddy Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I'm sorry...TP guys...you're in an alliance...or you were and didn't come to their aide. That the person who led the coup now posts this statement is a bit ironic,no? Yes, I agree that TSP's diplomatic acumen is a bit lacking...you just can't spin not supporting the Coalition when Milo couped with any type of rational reasoning nor should you have expected anythign less than their response. Now..as for TWP and TP relations, they were once pretty good. I recall a couple of years ago while delegate, posting significant support for Krull. I was later disappointed that Krull did not support my claims against TSP at the time and do find it also ironic, that much of what I said then is now coming from folks like TP. I believe TSP has changed for the better...but honestly their statements from today do make me inclined to wonder if I'm not the fool.
Tweedy Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 The Pacific did not have the resources to support the Coalition of the South Pacific during Milograd's coup due to exams and other pressing circumstances. He-he! I'm so glad this is only make-believe! I'm sorry, but in RL I really don't think I'd feel so secure knowing that my leaders were still in the process of having to take exams!
Westwind Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 *is distracted by Tweedy's sig again* I don't know why we allow these 'exams' to interfere with NS.
Crazy Slots Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 I'm sorry...TP guys...you're in an alliance...or you were and didn't come to their aid. The South Pacific and The Pacific did not have an alliance. With all due respect, I'm inclined to believe that you are interpreting your judgement of our actions based off of outdated information. The Pacific's reasons for not jumping in immediately were disclosed in Dalimbar's statement regarding the affair. We believe that they were more than reasonable given the circumstances, and find it unfortunate that The South Pacific acted as they did. The Pacific did not consider The South Pacific to be its enemy. They thought otherwise of us. Perhaps you were right two years ago, and we were wrong. We can't change the past though, so I must digress. The New Pacific Order People's Directorate of External Relations Greetings; The Senate and The Pacific Army High Command acknowledges that The West Pacific has been particularly keen on assisting us in our endeavors both at home and abroad as of late. We wish to formally note our sincere gratitude for this and state that we are more than happy to return the favor if asked. We also hold the shared special distinction of being the two feeders that The South Pacific slandered in the aftermath of their recent coup d'état, and therefore we are eternal brothers in "diplomatic time-out", per se. In these unusual times, where feeder unity has all but fallen and many are inclined to spit on the past, it has become apparent that true friendships are few and far between. This, along with the aforementioned recent interactions between TWP and the NPO, is why it was determined that a public acknowledgement of our appreciation was in order. Being the exception to the unfortunate norm is highly applaudable, and we've always been inclined to give credit where it is due. We hope that NPO-TWP relations will continue to develop in the future, and are open to more extensive cooperation if desired. Thank you. Regards, Milograd Senator of The Pacific P.S. If you would be so kind as to tell us where the marsupials are located, we'll bring the kalashnikovs. It's hunting season all year round in The Pacific.
punkdaddy Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Details, Milo...details... We thank our friends in The Pacific for their kind words. I recall expressing kind thoughts towards Krulltopia during my time as delegate a couple of years ago. I am glad to find our two regions on the same side of the force political spectrum once again.
Crazy Slots Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 We are also pleased by the progress that has been made in our relationship. TWPA's recent military assistance abroad and Arch's help with our internal recruiting immediately came to mind when this statement was drafted. Details, Milo...details... In all seriousness, The Pacific appreciates The West Pacific's support in SecReTlY ASSiSTING IN ThE NPO-COOrDINATED OVERTHRoW OF THE sOUTH PAcIFIC GOVErNMEnT. EDIT: It seems someone from TSP wrote over the actual details in orange crayon. How unfortunate.
Consular Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 I have no idea what you are talking about, we do not meddle in TSP affairs.
Consular Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 TSP are always outdoing themselves: http://forums.thesouthpacific.org/topic/4641-the-coalition-v-milograd/page-4#entry101373 I imagine that formal apology you're "required" to issue is really weighing you down, Milograd.
Westwind Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 Thank you for your most kind statement on TWP-NPO relations. We share respect and a high regard for our NPO friends. I feel fortunate that our regions continue warm and cooperative relations, and enjoy the opportunties to work with our Feeder brethern in The Pacific. I am also open to more extensive cooperation between our regions and have some thoughts on the possibilities. The attempts to 'shame' our regions for 'failing' to participate in the events in TSP are a curiousity that seems to lack the respect that we have shown to them in staying out of their internal affairs. However, their closing of relations is of no effect upon our regions and communities. They only accomplished the isolation of themselves from the larger Feeder community, which is unfortunate. 'Feeder Unity' is a matter of respect and cooperation, not a matter of interjecting ourselves into each other's internal affairs. BTW, who left the crayons laying about ?
Darkesia Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 I think that font should be made manadatory whenever refering to TSP affairs.
Bhang Bhang Duc Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Members of TSP know how to use crayons? I expected them to eat them.
Karpathos Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 I'm proud to announce that Krulltopia and The Senate of The Pacific have ratified the treaty sent to us by Westwind. We look forward to a long and productive friendship with our brothers and sisters in The West Pacific.
Intelligent Holograms Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Marvellous. I too look forward to a prosperous relationship with our Pacifican Brethren. *IH brings the party hats* Party?

Crazy Slots Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Always. Furthermore, The Pacific has recently resumed adding content to the Pacifican Gallery of Art, and this is one of our newer entries. Consular 1
