What is DSIG?
Shortly after the Nuran war, veteran tank commander Wang Zhiming founded Damao South Industries Group (DSIG) in the 1340s in the state of Damao. Wang had experienced both the pros and cons of Sekiyan Armour, and had learnt firsthand where improvements could be made.
DSIG Originally started out making advanced optics for light armour, with a focus on improved gunner sights and periscopes. Following the success of this venture, DSIG turned to the research of compositions and began producing cast armour for the Yin Group.
As DSIG accumulated experience in the defence sector, the company began planning it's first armoured weapons system: the Damao Main Battle Tank. The tank took around a decade to design and would go on to win a government contract to make Sekiya's next generation of MBT. Following this, DSIG started to expand. First, it went north into the state of Saiqi, before expanding into Cuiyu and Heping. Following the development of the new Damao 3 MBT, another plant was opened in Daxing.

DSIG continues to be the driving force in the development of tanks in Sekiya and has currently produced 3 generations of the Damao MBT.
Generations of the Damao MBT:
Damao 1A (1363) - The Damao 1A marked DSIG's entry into Sekiya's list of defence conglomerates. Replacing the dated 1342 Yin MT, the Damao 1A boasted enhanced firepower and advanced systems. Damao 1B (1367) - In the wake of better electronics, the Damao 1B had a better firing computer and stabiliser. Damao 1C (1373) - The Damao 1C introduced improved frontal armour and advanced communications systems. Damao 2A (1383) - The Damao 2A introduced a Hybrid Electric Drive system and a Composite Modular Armour, as well as an overall redesign to the hull and engine, keeping the same turret as the Damao 1C. Damao 2B (1392) - The Damao 2B introduced early Active Protection Systems, as well as a redesigned crew service, giving more space in the interior. Damao 3A (1414) - The Damao 3A introduced a radical overhaul of the tanks overall design. It features advancements in signature reduction and implements basic AI into the tank that assists with real-time threat analysis, predictive maintenance and decision support. Additionally, the Damao 3A marked the first upgrade in calibre, with a 120mm smoothbore cannon. What will be expected to be shown at the First DSIG Convention?
It is speculated that the convention will reveal the Damao 3B, the successor to the Damao 3A, however it is currently not yet known what changes this may bring. Additionally, leaks have speculated that Damao will be unveiling a new line of Infantry Fighting Vehicle. 
Damao has confirmed that it will be showcasing its state-of-the-art VR Training Simulations. These VR Zones will allow participants to sit in a replica of a Damao 3A, with the viewpoints replaced with the virtual scene. The Simulator is able to simulate shock, fire and over 20 different scenarios in different biomes.
A scaled down demo has currently been on the published on several VR consoles and the simulator is expected to exit testing in late 1424, where it will be used by the Sekiyan Army to train its tank crews.

Qilin Armoured Assault Vehicle
DSIG is proud to present its expansion into the AAV market! Let's have a look at the Qilin AAV and its capabilities!

Versatile Armament Suite
The Qilin is able to be mounted with a whole range of armaments, from Anti-Air missiles, Anti-Tank Missiles, a stabilized autocannon or a dual coaxial machinegun. The gun can also be fitted with a satellite dish, allowing the Qilin to act as a mobile radio centre.
Amphibious Capability
Depending on its armament, the Qilin can easily traverse rivers and operate with limited function underwater for brief periods of time.
Composite Armour and Active Protection
The Qilin has a similar armour composition to the Damao Main Battle Tank and incorporates similar AP systems to protect against incoming projectiles.
C4ISR Integration
At the core of the Qilin's capabilities is its integration into Sekiya's C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Recconaissance) network. This allows the Qilin to exchange data in real time with Sekiya's defence network.
Built-in Drone Capability
Perhaps one of the most revolutionary features of the Qilin is the incorporation of an optional UAV dock and interface. This allows the Qilin to expand its reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities into the sky.

2nd DSIG Convention, Changjing
Following a successful convention this time last year, DSIG proudly inaugurates its second annual convention. This year, the spotlight is on the highly anticipated Damao 3B, the latest variant of Sekiya's flagship main battle tank. Although closely related to its predecessor, the Damao 3A, which made its debut almost a decade ago, the 3B introduces subtle yet strategic improvements, showcasing DSIG's dedication to refinement and innovation.
Beyond the unveiling of the Damao 3B, anticipation is building for an exciting announcement from Heping Small Arms (HSA) on the third day of the convention. As the industry looks to the future, HSA promises to contribute to the landscape of cutting-edge weaponry.
Responding to overwhelming demand, DSIG's Virtual Reality Training Simulator returns at this year's convention. Since its captivating debut last year, this immersive training solution has garnered substantial interest. Notably, the Sekiyan military has ordered two of these advanced simulators, with the first already operational and the second currently undergoing installation.
Damao 3B Main Battle Tank
Onto the main product shown off at the convention, the Damao 3B. The 3B is a variant of the 3A, released in 1314. The 3B has been refitted to better connect to Sekiya's C4ISR network, allowing it to work better with last year's Qilin. Additionally, the crew interface of the tank has been significantly refined, giving the crew more space inside the tank, with some new quality of life upgrades for the crew, such as newly designed seats, improved first aid kits and an improved survival kit, fitting two tents, flares, and rations to last up to 2 weeks for the whole crew.

From June of 1324, Damao will shift the majority of its plants to start producing the Damao 3B, with some plants continuing to produce the Damao 3A for storage, spare parts & export.

Eino, driven by the weight of guilt and an insatiable curiosity, navigated the labyrinthine maze of twisted trunks and thorny underbrush, descending deeper into the heart of darkness.
The oppressive shadows grew denser, the moonlight casting eerie silhouettes that danced across the twisted foliage as Eino devled deeper into Salumetsa. Spectral, unseen eyes peered through the darkness, scrutinizing his every move. The half-forgotten tales of the Eyesnatcher, hung heavy in the air like a vengeful fog, painting the landscape with ancient dread.
The whispering wind seemed to carry an unsettling choir of voices, recounting Eino's transgressions with a chilling clarity. The tangled branches above him clawed at the inky sky, casting elongated shadows that mimicked the ethereal fingers of the forest witch herself. An unsettling unease gripped him as the very essence of Salumetsa seemed to seep into his bones, mirroring the rot that festered within.
Helve Sightbane, draped in ragged robes that seemed to absorb the shadows around her, observed Eino from the shadows. Her presence exuded an otherworldly malevolence, and her eyes, two voids that absorbed all light, seemed to pierce through the layers of deception that shielded his soul. Her incantations resonated with the rustle of leaves, creating an orchestral backdrop to the unfolding nightmare.
Memories of Eino's transgressions played out in a ghastly panorama—the broken promises, the shattered bonds, the callous disregard for those who loved him. The forest, an ancient witness to countless tales of betrayal, seemed to mourn the decay of kinship that festered within Eino's heart.
Salumetsa itself became an entity, alive with a malevolent consciousness that pulsated with every beat of Eino's tormented heart. Whispering spirits tugged at him, urging him further into the tangled web of the cursed woods. The ground beneath him seemed to shift, the very earth alive with a sinister intent that propelled him toward his impending reckoning.
Eino stumbled upon a clearing, its sickly glow revealing the silhouette of Helve. Her skeletal fingers, like talons dipped in shadows, reached out toward him. Her voice, a dissonant melody that echoed through the clearing, recounted his sins in excruciating detail, each word etching deeper into the fabric of his tormented soul.
"Your eyes betray you, Eino Veskima," she crooned, the very air pregnant with the weight of his sins. "They reveal the darkness within, the rot that festers in the hearts of those who forsake kinship."
In the deafening silence that followed, the Eyesnatcher seized him with a ferocity born of ancient vengeance. Her fingers, gnarled and ice-cold, plunged into his eyes, and the world erupted into a symphony of agony. Blood and magic mingled in the air as Eino's anguished screams echoed through Salumetsa, his blindness both physical and metaphysical.
As the last vestiges of his sight were ripped away, the forest itself seemed to shudder, the very roots of Salumetsa quivering with satisfaction. Helve's haunting laughter, a cacophony of torment, intertwined with the mournful howls of the wind, marking the gruesome climax of Eino Veskima's descent into darkness.
