A story from The Cinport Times
JERIMIAHIA LOSES BY TWO POINTS TO OVERTHINKERS IN RUGBY WORLD CUP VI
With the beginning of the sixth annual Rugby World Cup in Ryxltopia, the Jer Rugby Association has played their first match in the largest league in the world against the formidable Overthinkers, one of the most formidable teams. Sadly, but somewhat expectedly, the Jer have lost their first outing, only gaining one point in the league in a loss of two points.
”It was incredible to play in such a massive stadium, I’m just glad we got so close to winning,” says Cleats, one of the Jer players in the match.
Truly, getting so close to victory in such a difficult match is a show of Jer athleticism and spirit. It goes to show that we, the Jer, are capable.
I wish the Jer Rugby Association the best of luck in the rest of the tournament. Go Jerimiahia!

Ryxtylopia VS Staneburg - Match Highlighs.

The TVNC tranmission started slightly before the inaguration, with the Chacas Arena packed the stands filled with yellow and green. As a brief ceremony took place with regional dancers and fireworks, before Ryxtylopia's and Staneburg's national anthems played.
As both anthems the stadium came to life with chants of "Dalé Dalé Ryxtylopia; Dalé Dalé Tricolór" filling the air.

Comentator Pablo Virriscayda once again joined TVNC to give live coverage on the matches, he started as both teams took positions on the field.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Its the day! RYXTYLOPIA VS STANEBURG! Now live from the Chacas Arena! Ryxtylopia seeks its first win at home to start the tournament off in the right foot! Staneburg wants its first ever RWC win! We got the fans putting pressure from the stands, its going to be a great match!"
As the referee does the coin toss, Ryxtylopia wins it, deciding to start by kicking off.

"Annnd... Ryxtylopia will start this RWC by kicking off against Staneburg! Ladies and Gentlemen for the first time ever we have a RWC come to our country! We await kick off and hope to see a great match for the Pirates!"

KICK OFF Soon the pirates kick off, starting the match agressively, placing a lot of early pressure against the staneburgian defense. With the opposing team slowly but surely putting up a defense against the pressure from the ryxtylopians.
"3! 2! 1! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! FOREIGNERS! PEOPLE OF RYXTYLOPIA! RUGBY WORLD CUP SIX HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED! GO PIRATES! DALÉ TRICOLÓR!"

7'  |  0-0 Even when the staneburgian players started to get a better response against the ryxtylopian attack; the first major chance to open the scoreboard came from the pirates, as Lardo Andreís Visquelpá made an incredible effort to run through a gap between Niklas Vogel and Christian Fuchs, and getting within a few meters of scoring a try, however Staneburg's fullback: Erik Albrecht was able to tackle him just in time, as Vogel caught up to pick up the ball and wrap up the defense.
"Visquelpá with the ball, he's running on the right side! Making great progress, its up to Vogel... Will- No! Vogel didn't tackle him! Its a dangerous situation for Staneburg Visquelpá is through! Visquelpá can score! Only Albrecht can save Staneburg! Visquelpá, Albrecht, Visquelpá, Albrecht, Albrechhhhhtttt- TACKLE! And now Vogel to clear the danger! Staneburg saves itself!"

15'  |  0-0 Another good chance for Ryxtylopia came in the 15th minute. As Riberto Huilchica gave a good pass back to Armando Mataña as he had lured in part of the Staneburgian players, with Mataña then bearly making a pass to the pirates number-8: Theo Farris, as he rushed forward, getting tackled by Staneburg's Julian Wolff, starting a ruck as Andreís Guilbirto, Lardo A. Visquelpá, Franco Chalquaté and Mataña went up against Daniel Maurer, Florian Adler, Marcel Schulte, N. Vogel and Leon Schröder for possession, with Mataña making it out with the ball only to then lose it to Fuchs who successfully tackled him, as Schulte got the ball and got away stopping Ryxtylopia's chance.
"Huilchica to Mataña, Mataña goes forwards! Pass! Farris! Tackle! Tackle! Tackle! Ruck! Ruck! Ruck! Ruck! Who'll get the ball out of this one?! I can see Chalquaté and Guilbirto... And ITS MATAÑA! He could make a try if he- TACKLE! Tackle by Fuchs! Now Schulte with the ball! Staneburg keeps it nil-nil!"

    31'  |  7-0 A. Guilbirto (RYX)
    Lardo A. Visquelpá (RYX)
However after many rucks near the mid-field, it would be Ryxtylopia that opened the scoreline, as after Staneburg's Moritz Lange committed a knock-on, Ryxtylopia would take full advantage of the following scrum, Marco Xilta gained possession for the pirates, dashing through Staneburg's players before giving a pass to Guilbirto, running behind him on the left. Guilbirto managed not to get tackled by L. Schröder and E. Albrecht, making it to the other side and scoring the try.
In the following conversion kick, Lardo A. Visquelpá put the ball right between the posts with a beautifully executed kick.
"Now for the scrum! And there it goes! Staneburg and Ryxtylopia battling it out here in Pinilaca! And, possession for the pirates! Xilta has the ball! Xilta is making it through! Pass to Guilbirto! He could try to score a drop goal or go for a try! Guilbiiiiiiirtooooo... MAKES IT THROUGH ALBRECHT... AND TRY! SCORE! SCORE! SCOOOOOOOOORE!! THE PIRATES OPEN THE SCOREBOARD!"
"20 meters out, Visquelpá can make it 7-0! Will he make it?! Annnd- Kick! HE DOES! He does! Visquelpá furthens the lead! Its now Ryxtylopia 7! Staneburg 0! Ryxtylopia is currently winning its opening game!"

38'  |  7-0 In the last minutes of the first half, Staneburg would get incredibly close to scoring, with a good series of passes between Matthias König, Fabian Krüger and Moritz Lange making it through Rinaco Zicha and Guilbirto Tivaña, getting within a good proximity of the Ryxtylopian side of the field, with F. Krüger being tackled by Rinaco Patochá, and Marco Va'atí regaining possession for the pirates, squandering Staneburg's great chance.
"Krüger! Krüger to Moritz, now back to Krüger! He has a decent chance of scoring! Tivaña couldn't keep up! And, Tackle! Patochá tackles! The ball goes to Va'atí, danger's cleared! The score remains 7-0!"

HALF TIME | 7-0 The game reaches half time, both teams go to get some water and to plan ahead, Ryxtylopia had a lead and it seemed like Tivarra would keep the strategy of constant pressure against Staneburg, as it had worked so far.
"Half time ladies and gentlemen! If you have to use the bathroom or get some snacks now is the time! Ryxtylopia leads by 7 points thanks to the try from Guilbirto and the conversion by Visquelpá! We will return to you shortly after a small ad break!"

    60'  |  12-0 A. Guilbirto (RYX)
    R. Huilchica (RYX)
The second half started off slow, with both teams building momentum, but it would be the experience of the pirates that got them to score once again, following a Ruck, T. Farris would gain possession, and with A. Guilbirto's quick thinking a well-placed pass reached the hands of Ryxtylopia's hooker, making the try after bearly avoiding getting tackled by Schröder.
But in the following conversion, Huilchica's kick would slam right into the right post bouncing off, leaving the post shaking as the crowd let out an "UFF!" in unison looking back at the missed opportunity.
"Annnnnd... Ball for Farris! He's through! He's running with all the speed he can, now on the left! Pass to Guilbirto! Guilbirto can make it through! Guilbirto IS THROUGH! Guilbirtooooooooo- SCORE! Score! Scoreeeeeeeeeeee! Guilbirto scores the try for Ryxtylopia! Its now 12-0!"
"Huilchica will be taking the conversion! He kicks! The ball hits the post! The ball hit the post! The pirates miss out on the conversion! This game stays 12-0!"

64'  |  7-0 Even with their team now very much on the back-foot, the players of Staneburg didn't give up. Following a knock on commited by Ferrán Lisquerva; Staneburg would come off better in the following scrum, with Moritz Lange holding the ball and making great speed as he ran past Rinaco Zicha and M. Va'atí. With Aviliez Mataña in front of him, he dropped the ball kicking it for a drop goal, with the ball curving just slightly away from the posts.
"Staneburg has possession from the ruck! Attention everybody, Lange wants to put Ryxtylopia in danger! The 24-year old is through Zicha! And now Va'atí! He runs! Mataña looks to stop him in his tracks! Lange- KICK! Annnnnnnnnd... MISS! Lange missess Staneburg's chance to open their side of the scoreboard!"

    68'  |  12-7 Fabian Krüger (SBG)
    Moritz Lange (SBG)
Staneburg would finally get their chance to make RWC history at the 68th minute. Following a Maul, they started to play more agressively, finally getting rid of some of the ryxtylopian pressure in the process. Their captain: Jonas Hartmann got through on the left side, then getting tackled by A. Mataña however with nearby D. Maurer following Hartmann, he was able to quickly regain possession for Staneburg, avoiding the ryxtylopian players by moving diagonally, then making a great pass back to F. Krüger, whom outran Va'atí, then getting past Ernysto Rivas to make the first ever try for Staneburg in a Rugby World Cup.
    M. Lange would make the conversion kick, the conversion being successful and bringing Staneburg within 5 points of a tie.
"Hartmann! Tackled by Mataña! Farris didn't get in time, possession for Staneburg, its Maurer! He makes speed for the ryxtylopian side. Maurer, pass to Krüger! Va'atí can't catch up! Its up to Rivas! Annnd... Score! Score! Staneburg Scores! Krüger had the chance to make history for Staneburg and he took it! 12-5!"
"Lange will take the conversion! He kicks! And its between the posts! Staneburg are now only behind by 5 points!"

    77'  |  19-7 P. Darrias (RYX)
    R. Huichilca (RYX)
The pirates keep up their strategy, and nine minutes after Staneburg's try and conversion. Ryxtylopia once again scored points, with a chain of passes between Lardo A. Visquelpá, F. Chalquaté and A. Mataña then reaching P. Darrias, whom determined to score for the Pirates launched himself right at the Staneburgian players whom were expecting him to pass back to Visquelpá who was almost open on the other side. Darrias managed to avoid L. Schröder and J. Wolff, to then score his try.
Huilchica would once again be tasked with the conversion, this time the captain of the pirates delivered, as the crowd went wild after he brought Ryxtylopia up by another 2 points.
"Calquaté! Pass! Mataña! Pass! The ball is now in the hands of Darrias! He has 3 people in front of- nevermind 2! He could attempt to make it through, and he is doing that! Schröder fails to tackle! Darrias, Darrias, DARRIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!! SCOOOOOOOOOOREEEEEE! SCORE! SCORE! Score! The pirates once again score! This time Darrias bearly making it past Staneburg's players to make the try!"
"Huilchica can redeem himself with this conversion! Will he make it?! Kickkkkkk- HE DOES! Huilchica converts! The score is now 19-7!"

    80'  |  19-10 S. Keller (SBG)
As the crowd started to whistle and gesture towards the referee to end the match, T. Farris commited a foul by obstructing Sebastian Lenz while in possession of the ball, awarding Staneburg a penalty that Stefan Keller took, scoring it while the ryxtylopians in the crowd started celebrating the victory.
"The match will end in less than a minute! Farris may go for a drop goa- Foul! Foul! Staneburg have been awarded a penalty, a mitsake by Farris may lead to Staneburg getting some more points!"
"Keller will kick this, Kick- Score! Score! Staneburg scores a penalty in the dying seconds of the match! Its 19-10!"

FULL TIME | 19-10 Shortly after Staneburg's penalty, the referee would signal the end of the match, as the crowd goes extatic over Ryxtylopia's victory, with the few staneburgian supporters applauding their players for the effort they made.
"Annd... ITS OVER! THE PIRATES ARE VICTORIOUS! Ryxtylopia has managed to win against Staneburg in the first match of the sixth Rugby World Cup!"

"Ladies and gentlemen! Ryxtylopia has won! Incredible game! We saw a lot of early domination by the pirates! But the staneburgians got their act togheter and managed to score in the second half, even if they didn't win, their team made an effort! They will be going up against fellow debutants: Materos next! Will Staneburg get their first ever RWC win? Make sure to visit the official RWC website to find out!"

"And as for the pirates our next game will be against Nouveauterra! In the Istadio Trixalpe! The pirates will look for revenge, as Nouveauterra was the only team they didn't beat during the group stage of last RWC!"
"But anyways, this has been a great match! I thank you all whom attended both in the stadium and from your homes! Im Pablo Virriscayda and you have watched TVNC! Ryxtylopia's greatest broadcasting network!"
"Ill see you all soon! Dalé Tricolór!"

    The transmission ends.

Staneburg Goes Down 19 - 10 to Ryxtylopia
    By Anna Wilson, SBC Sports
    Fri, September 26 1425

Staneburg Rugby made their long-awaited Rugby World Cup debut yesterday, facing the hosts, Ryxtylopia at the Chacas Arena. Despite the efforts, the newcomers fell 19 - 10 in a match that proved to be difficult. This was expected as we knew Ryxtylopia was the more experienced team and that showed in key moments.
Following the match, Team Manager Richard Schmidt spoke to SBC Sports:
Anna Wilson: “Hello, I’m Anna from SBC Sports. I would like to ask you a few questions regarding your first game”
Richard Schmidt: “Of course, nice to meet you”
Anna Wilson: “How do you reflect on the team’s performance despite the loss?”
Richard Schmidt: “I think we did reasonably well. We knew it would be a tough challenge against one of the strongest teams in the tournament. Although we didn't get the results, I believe the squad worked hard and showed promise in our first match”
Anna Wilson: “How did the players handle the atmosphere of playing in front of such a big, home crowd?”
Richard Schmidt: “It was intense, but I think our boys handled it with courage. This was a new experience for most of them, and they’ll only get better with time.”
Anna Wilson: “Your next game is against Materos. what are your expectations for that match?”
Richard Schmidt: “I believe we can do better than this match but I don’t want to get ahead of myself. What we would like to do is to regroup, refine our strategy and go in with full focus. And I believe, we might be able to secure a positive result”
Anna Wilson: “Looking beyond this tournament, what is your broader objective for Staneburg rugby?”
Richard Schmidt: “This tournament is a learning platform for us. Of course, we want to compete, but the bigger goal is to gain experience, build belief, and lay the foundation for Staneburg rugby’s future at the international level.”
Anna Wilson: “Any final message for your fans back home?”
Richard Schmidt: “I would like to thank them for their incredible support. We are proud to represent Staneburg and we'll continue to fight hard in every match.”
At the end of Matchday one, Ryxtylopia and Nouveauterra sit at the top of Group A with four points each, while Materos hold one point and Staneburg remain without points at last place. With the top three teams advancing, the next match is crucial for Staneburg to win, especially to keep their hopes in the world cup alive. The team believes they can regroup and go into the next matches with full focus. Staneburg will face Materos in their next match in the Chacas Arena whilst Ryxtylopia goes against  Nouveauterra in the Istadio Trixalpe.

SAINT MARK LIONS VS. LARXIAN SEA LIONS
    Reported by: Sir Emmitt Longwind
Venue: Istadio Raquivas – Packed House, Overcast Afternoon
FINAL SCORE: Saint Mark Lions 10 – 9 Larxian Sea Lions
In a bruising and emotionally charged international clash, the Saint Mark Lions edged out the Larxian Sea Lions 10–9 in a match defined by grit, tackles, and nerves of steel. The outcome came down to a single penalty in the closing minutes—converted by none other than the fly-half, Nelson Saint Mark.
    First Half: Defense Reigns Supreme
From the first whistle, both sides were determined to make a statement at the breakdown. The forward packs clashed with thunderous impact, with Baxtor Goldwash and Bruno Goldwash anchoring the Lions’ front row against Larxia’s powerful trio of João “Joca” Silva, Miguel Santos, and Pedro “Pedrão” Reis.
The Sea Lions opened the scoring with a well-placed penalty kick from fly-half Diogo “Didi” Mendes after Saint Mark were penalized for hands in the ruck. Saint Mark responded minutes later through the explosive running of inside center Arthur Brideman, who broke two tackles to set up a ruck just five meters out. After several pick-and-go phases, number 8 Paul Reston crashed over the try line for the Lions’ only five-pointer of the day. Nelson Saint Mark converted with ease, making it 7–3 at the half.
Second Half: Tactical Kicking and Unrelenting Pressure
The Sea Lions came out of the tunnel with renewed fire. Led by blindside flanker and captain Rafael “Rafa” Lima, they pressured the Lions into their own half. Two more penalty goals from Mendes brought the score to 9–7 with fifteen minutes remaining.
Fullback Blaze Emberfell and scrum-half Michael Hawk combined well to relieve pressure through deep kicks and quick sniping runs, while Saint Mark’s back row—Marcarius Hightower and Gregor Napoli—put in a massive defensive shift, slowing Larxia’s tempo at every turn.
With five minutes left, Larxian open-side flanker Bruno Carvalho was penalized for not rolling away after a tackle—setting up a difficult 42-meter penalty attempt for Nelson Saint Mark. With ice in his veins, the fly-half struck the ball cleanly, sending it sailing between the posts and bringing the crowd to its feet.
    Final Moments: Holding the Line
The final sequence saw Larxia camped inside the Lions' 22-meter line. Scrum-half Guilherme Ferreira darted left and right, probing for gaps, but was met by solid tackles from Colin Rahl and John Evermore. With seconds remaining, Christopher Dancer’s crucial intercept off a looping pass to Nuno “Ninja” Ramos sealed the deal.
Player of the Match: Nelson Saint Mark (Fly-Half, Saint Mark Lions)
Clutch under pressure, tactically sound, and the difference-maker with the boot—Nelson delivered when it mattered most.
    Closing Thoughts
Coach Sir Evan Rahl praised the Lions’ “spirit and structure,” while Larxian manager Ricardo Costa lamented the missed chances but vowed the Sea Lions “will come back stronger.” In a match where every tackle, kick, and decision mattered, it was the cool head and calm boot of Nelson Saint Mark that gave the Lions the edge.
Saint Mark Lions win it—barely, but brilliantly.

United Adaikes reacted to Zoran in Rugby World Cup VI [rosters, roleplays, results]
    09:00 IAT +1
    Alisdulo'i, Zoran
Chancellor Aditsi walks down the hall of the acting residence of the queen to the meeting room, confused by this sudden summons. All he knows is that the Council of State is summoned to a meeting this morning but the reason for such a sudden meeting is unknown to him.
This better not be some emergency meeting regarding the Varanians...
He thought to himself as he approached the double doors of the meeting room. He takes a deep breathe before turning the door knob and entering the room only to find he was the last member of the Council to arrive.
"Aha!" calls out General Adahihi, "So much for your reputation of being the first to arrive, ey Yenuha?" The rest of the ministers chuckle at the comment as Chancellor Aditsi takes his seat,
"Haha." Aditsi laughs sardonically, "Very funny, old friend. Now where is Atsila? Does anyone have any idea what this meeting is about?" The others in the room mutter uncertainly, clearly not having the answer to either question. Aditsi sighs in worry as he sits back in his seat, hand on his forehead as he wonders what this meeting could be about. Adahihi's eyes soften slightly and he says,
"If it is any relief, I do not believe it is about the Varanians. I have no new reports coming from the Darkesian at the moment so I highly doubt that Her Majesty would have anything that I don't know about." Aditsi nods and looks at the general with appreciation for his words before looking at
     Minister Agaluysdi and asks,
“And is there anything abroad that this meeting could be about?” Minister Agaluysdi shakes his head,
“Not at all. None of us hav a clue what this meeting is about.”
That is when the doors open and Queen Atsila enters the room in relatively informal attire,
“Thank you all for coming on such short notice. This meeting shouldn’t take too long.” she says as she walks to the head of the table and stands behind her chair.
“What’s the meeting about? You didn’t mention anything when you called us.” asks Aditsi,
“Ah yes, I am sorry about that. I guess I shouldn’t keep you in suspense any longer. I am going on vacation.” answers Atsila casually.
The ministers in the room froze, completely surprised by this turn of events. General Adahihi clears his throats as she says,
“Well…are you sure that is wise considering the tense situation our country finds itself in with Varanius?”
“Of course I do.” says Atsila as she inspects her nails, “I do not anticipate for Varanius to take any drastic actions and I will only be on vacation for a week. I have been leading this nation without rest for about five years now if i am not mistaken. I have had to deal with factionalism, extremism, creating a new government, and dealing with foreign forces seeking to manipulate events. Not to mention an assassination attempt that nearly came close to ending me. So I decided that it is about time I take a short vacation to relax for a bit. Besides, I believe this would be a good test to see if the insitutions put in place can keep the country together without me micromanaging it. So, while you cannot pass laws without my assent, you all should be capable of keeping the country running.”
The ministers were silent, as they took her words into consideration. It is true that she has been the one carrying the country on her back since the end of the revolution and she has set up the government in a way that it should not completely rely on her constant presence. Chancellor Aditsi rose to his feet, all eyes in the room on him, as he says, “Your Majesty, we promise to keep this country together in your absence. You can be rest assured that you will not have to be called back from your vacation early for any reason.” Atsila’s eyes narrow at the wording of his statement,
“I will hope that you call me back should I be wrong about Varanius or should Junaluska or the Brave Talons try anything, Chancellor. But I take your point, the state is in the hands of all those assembled here. I wish you all the best of luck. You are all dismissed.” she says as she walks away from the table and exits the room.
As soon as the door closes, Director Soyohata claps his hands together and quips,
"Alright! It seems like mom has finally left us in charge of the house!"
The whole room just stared at him with unamused eyes, all of them praying that nothing happens that requires them to call the Queen back early from her vacation.

United Adaikes got a reaction from Teralyon in Rugby World Cup VI [rosters, roleplays, results]
The United Adaikes national team sent a thunderous message to the rest of Group C, and the entire Rugby World Cup, with a commanding 32-10 victory over a spirited Ageros side in their tournament opener. The match, played in front of a capacity crowd, was a showcase of clinical finishing and formidable forward power that has immediately stamped Adaikes as a force to be reckoned with.
From the opening whistle, the Adaikes pack established dominance. The set-piece was a well-oiled machine, with the lineout functioning flawlessly thanks to the pinpoint throws of Mallory Dale and the aerial prowess of locks Rorie Waller and Ryanne Thrussell. This platform allowed the backs to play with confidence and width.
Veteran scrum-half Ursella Bissette, directing traffic with her trademark snappy passes, kept the Ageros defense guessing. The tries came from a perfect blend of brute force and backline flair. Powerful runs from the forward contingent, particularly from Tyrell Darwin and Koby Rose, punched holes in the defensive line, creating space for the outside backs.
While the scoreline reflects a comprehensive win, Coach Ferne Huxtable will have noted areas for improvement. Ageros managed to cross for a consolation try late in the second half, exposing a brief lapse in defensive concentration. Furthermore, the team conceded a handful of penalties at the breakdown that a more disciplined opponent might have punished. Despite these minor points, the bonus-point victory, earned by scoring twenty points, provides the ideal start to the campaign.
A Quick Look Around Group C : Saint Mark Edges Past Larxia
In the other Group C fixture, Saint Mark scraped a narrow 10-9 victory over Larxia in a tense, defensively-minded affair. The match was a stark contrast to the free-flowing rugby seen in the Adaikes game, decided by a single penalty goal. While Saint Mark tops the group alongside Adaikes on 4 points, their points difference of +1 pales in comparison to Adaikes' staggering +22. Larxia, meanwhile, will be disappointed to come away with nothing but a solitary losing bonus point after a gutsy defensive performance.
The Stakes for Matchday 2: A Path to the Knockouts
The table sets up a monumental clash on Matchday 2. United Adaikes will face Saint Mark in a match that could all but decide the group winner. A victory for Adaikes would not only solidify their standing at the top but would also put them on the brink of qualification for the Knockout Stage with a game to spare. The team knows that replicating the power and precision of their opener will be key to overcoming a stubborn Saint Mark defense.
The mood in the Adaikes camp is one of focused optimism. The veterans have set the standard, and the new faces have integrated seamlessly. The journey continues, and the nation watches with bated breath.
Final Score: United Adaikes 32 (Tries: Rose, Bissette, Darwin, Hampton; Cons: Jacobson 3; Pens: Jacobson 2) - Ageros 10

United Adaikes got a reaction from Dalimbar in Rugby World Cup VI [rosters, roleplays, results]

Teralyon wins over Greiya 21–0 in Rugby World Cup Clash
Ryxtylopia – The Teralyon National Rugby Team announced their arrival at the 6th Rugby World Cup in emphatic fashion, shutting out Greiya with a commanding 21–0 victory.
From the opening whistle, Teralyon’s purple-clad warriors imposed their will on the match. The forward pack, led by captain Zivko Koci, controlled the scrums and breakdowns, while the backline displayed precision and pace that Greiya simply could not match. Two first-half tries from Visnja Dvorkin and Mila Tomikj gave Teralyon early momentum. In the second half, the relentless defense held firm, forcing turnovers that allowed Dragos Pantelic to dart across the line for the third and final try. With three successful conversions, Teralyon sealed the scoreboard at 21–0.
Manager Ratko Jenic praised the team’s discipline: “We knew Greiya would come at us with passion, but our composure and execution made the difference. This was a statement win.” Fans back home in Tarajeva, Suza, and across the nation erupted in celebration, waving silver and purple flags in pride. Rugby World Cup 6 - Ryxtylopia
Welcome back to Rugby Rankings, this time covering the sixth edition in Ryxtylopia.
Standard housekeeping as previous editions - New teams to the RWC start off with 45.00 points. Per tradition, RWC5 participants who did not qualify for RWC6 are marked in italics, to give perspective to how current teams stack up against legends and losers from the previous tourny.
Here's how the standings look going into Day 1 in Ryxtylopia:
    Zoran - 63.89 Overthinkers - 56.12 United Adaikes - 54.12 Teralyon - 53.86 Cambria - 53.42 Ostronia - 52.37 Ryxtylopia - 52.35 Dalimbar - 51.78 Giovanniland - 50.31 Fujai - 50.28 Hertfordshire and Jammbo - 50.06 Mygrdiyah - 48.72 Nouveauterra - 48.39 Nalibia - 48.14 Sekiya - 47.83 Saint Mark - 47.28 Arifiyyah - 47.03 Zhiznovsk - 45.92 Min-Su - 45.84 Peourouin - 45.54 Ageros - 45.00 Greiya - 45.00 Inseberistan - 45.00 Jerimiahia - 45.00 Materos - 45.00 Staneburg - 45.00 Zogradia - 45.00 Larxia - 44.79 Rivalfiume - 44.67 Nieubasria - 43.50 Avadonialis - 43.38 Varanius - 41.40 New Velka - 41.24 Einherfell - 39.81 Denieria - 39.61 RWC6 - Day 1
Theme of Day 1 is "home side is stronger side and stronger side won". That being said, the new batch of competitors, often facing off against rugby titans, gained a bit of field experience despite losses and thus gained a few rugby ranking points. This system seems to dislike lop-sided competitions, finding it more honourable to see a clash of titans than a titan beating on a less experienced side. Inseberistan vs Zoran is a perfect example of this, the new team in spite of losing to the strongest team in RWC history, managed to only lose by 5 points and thus the Rugby Rankings system awarded the newbies and penalized the Zoranians by 2.38 ranking points.

    Appendix: Place Names (Part 1)
As an additional resource to our travel guide about all regions of Giovanniland, we have collected information about many of the place names that appear in this guide, including their pronunciation and etymology. Although some may simply skip this part of the guide, others could find it quite interesting, especially as place names often have something to tell about the place's very origins and history.
Region of Giovannia Magna [gjo'van.nja 'mag.na] - meaning 'Greater Giovannia' since it encompasses the national capital and surrounding lands.
Capital city of Giovannia [gjo'van.nja] - a city founded in the 9th century during the reign of empress Tenzina (853-879) and afterwards made capital by emperor Kesare (879-888), it honors the nation's founding father, Triumvir Giovanni of the Abrentan Republic, who started the process to unify the Abrentan and Lavandulan civilizations into our modern-day nation. Cities of Vinikiano [vi.ni'kja.no] and Raffellia [raf'fɛl.lja] - these two industrial-era cities, which started out as satellite cities of the capital and nowadays have over 200,000 inhabitants, are named after brothers Vinikio and Raffello de Abreo-Florino, prime ministers between 1225-1232 and 1238-1248 respectively. City of Iuliopole [ju.li'ɔ.po.le] - continuing the trend that many cities around the capital are named after important people, this city was named after Emperor Iulio I, the first to rule over an unified Giovanniland, from 555 to 584. Region of Lavandula [la'van.du.la] - the homeland of the historical Lavandulan people, so named due to the rainforest lavender that is prominent in northern Giovanniland. This plant was also the symbol of the imperial lineage that founded the ancient Lavandulan Empire, which contributed to its adoption as an ethnonym.
Capital city of Urido ['u.ri.do] - from Lavandulan དབུར་ཡིད (wur-yid) of debated meaning, but often explained as referring to the Lavandulan civilization's very beginnings around the area of this city, which was one of the first settlements founded by them. City of Quorivo [kwo'ri.vo] - translated from Lavandulan ཀླུང་ཆེན (lung-chen), which means 'great river' and refers to the Purpuro River that crosses the city. City of Dazano [da'za.no] - from Lavandulan འདབ་བཟང (dab-zang) meaning 'place of macaws'. City of Osellio [o'sɛl.ljo] - from Lavandulan འོད་གསལ་ཡུལ (ösel-yul) meaning 'city of radiance'. Region of Abrenostro [a.bre'nos.tro] - derives from the earlier name Abrento Austro, the imperial-era division referring to the fact these were the southernmost areas settled by the Abrentan civilization.
Capital city of Abrentopole [a.bren'tɔ.po.le] - the Abrentans founded this new capital city, meaning 'City of the Abrentans', in their southwards expansion to replace their first capital Amorante. City of Karlopole [kar'lɔ.po.le] - this frontier city near the Minsunese border named after Emperor Karlo I, who reigned from 1132 to 1166 and helped foster friendship between Giovanniland and the newly-independent nations of Blue Bubble and Minsu. City of Anaro [a'na.ro] - possibly means 'place of ducks', which are named ana or anade in Giovannese, although other hypotheses have been made. City of Portovini [por.to'vi.ni] - its name meaning 'wine port' alludes to the widespread viticulture in the peninsula that the city is located in, and to the city's historical significance as one of Giovanniland's former main ports.  Region of Prinvalli [prin'val.li] - derives from the earlier name Primi Valli, so named since this region full of valleys was where the Abrentans first settled in Lavender Island after arriving from southern Saint Mark.
Capital city of Porto Violeto ['por.to vjo'le.to] - the second-largest city of Giovanniland was founded alongside a small harbor, where the Violet Port from which the city takes its name was founded. A common explanation refers to the abundant violet flowers around the area. City of Amorante [a.mo'ran.te] - means 'mouth of the Amora River'. City of Salvoregno [sal.vo'reg.no] - its name 'safe realm' refers to the city's foundation after a turbulent period for the Abrentans. City of Unitadia [u.ni'ta.dja] - this imperial-era city was named after the unification of the Abrentan and Lavandulan civilizations. Region of Verdiante [ver'djan.te] - meaning 'green region', it refers to the Abrentan Forest in western Auran Giovanniland.
Capital city of Annavilla [an.na'vil.la] - named after Empress Anna I, who reigned from 755 to 792 and began the Golden Age of Giovanniland. City of Porelia [po'rɛ.lja] - formerly called Plorelia during the medieval era. Its name derives from the ubiquitous açaí fruit in the region, which is called ploria in Giovannese, and means 'crying fruit'. City of Augusterra [au.gus'tɛr.ra] - named after Emperor Augusto, who reigned from 584 to 621, the son of Iulio I of Abrento and Nima VII of Lavandula. City of Lastrilla [las'tril.la] - a pre-Abrentan toponym of uncertain meaning.  Region of Spandorto [span'dor.to] - meaning 'expansion to the east', it refers to the Abrentan exploration of this area relatively late in their medieval history.
Capital city of Hendia ['hen.dja] - its name derives from a kind of snake common in the area, and their name in turn comes from the verb hendere which means to hold forcefully. City of Tommasio [tom'ma.sjo] - named after Emperor Tommaso II who reigned from 999 to 1039, one of the longest-reigning in Giovannilandian history. City of Uprino [u'pri.no] - its name comes from the Uprino River, of uncertain meaning. City of Oddolino [od.do'li.no] - formerly called Oppidolino during the medieval era, from oppido (modern-day oddo) meaning town and a diminutive suffix.

Ryxtylopia VS Staneburg - The big day.

The players were already at the stadium, as coach Tivarra got them to gather in the dressing room, everybody was only whispering, it was the first matchday, and if they wanted to make a good impression on the world they'd have to win it, as around 50 to 60 thousand ryxtylopians would be watching.
Tivarra would adjust his suit as outside the opening ceremony was about to start.

[Tivarra]: Alright boys, its time. Its our turn to host this tournament, and you already know what im expecting from you.
[R. Huilchica]: Yes sir! We have to do everything to win! As the captain I do not intend on letting you down!
[Tivarra]: That's the attitude I want! Everybody heard your captain? He's leading the team for a reason! Our opponents are making their debut, I don't want you to go easy on them either way, we didn't get as far as we did in our debut beacause the other teams "let us". NO! We got there from our sweat and tears! And even if it may seem harsh, you must do everything to win this for our people? EVERYBODY UNDERSTANDS?

The room responds with an enthusiastic "YES!"
[Tivarra]: Good! Now there's a lot we've worked on, I hope you all feel confident about your kicking, especially after the whole penalties against Teralyon situation last time, its imperative we become the best at everything we can.
[M. Xilta]: Yes boss, we know.
[Tivarra]: Some of you may be rivals, belonging to clubs that may detest eachother but always remember as RYXTYLOPIA, we are one! No fighting no petty drama, If you were to have any problems bring them to me, and we'll see how to fix them.
[T. Farris]: At least we have our 16th player in the crowd.
    [P. Darrias]: You mean players?
[T. Farris]: Yeah, i guess, i heard some of our fans are preparing a massive show during the national anthem with like easily over a thousand flags!
[Tivarra]: That tricolor will stand in this stadium and won't faulter. Our people have always followed us from the snowy and terribly cold landscape in Dalimbar, and then many kilometers south to that semifinal in Overthinkers! Winning is the best way to repay them for being so loyal to their country.
[G. Tivaña]: Honestly i never really understood the excitement around rugby or even football until i became a player myself.
[A. Mataña]: And we play at home for once! Hopefully the crowds can put pressure from the stands.

Tivarra would bring out a whiteboard.
[Tivarra]: On to strategy! I unfortunately don't know a lot about Staneburg, so im going to give you a general brief of the battleplan... We go in semi-agressive, see how well they deal with our pressure. Hopefully we can get some points before half-time, ill gauge their style of play, you will need to either gain the upper hand or hold until half-time. Then we'll meet again during half time and ill let you all know if we need to make any changes. Understood?

    Everybody nods.
[Tivarra]: Good! You will all give your best. Any comments?
[E. Rivas]: Er- yes! Over here.
    [Tivarra]: Go ahead Rivas.
[E. Rivas]: I just wanted to let everybody know, I plan on retiring from the national team after this Rugby World Cup, so I hope we could end it on a high, that would be a dream come true. Ryxtylopia has given me everything I could ask for, and Im extremly lucky to have played with you all in this golden generation of our rugby.
    [A. Guilbirto]: Noo Rivas!
[F. Lisquerva]: I hope we can achieve your goals old man.
[M. Xilta]: I never expected to hear you announce your retirement, hope you can still have a good career in Talaxachá afterwards!
[E. Rivas]: Me too, thank you all.
[Tivarra]: Well Rivas, hopefully we'll complete your goal, thanks for being part of this amazing team. Now... WHAT WILL WE DO TODAY?

    Everybody shouts: "WE WILL WIN!"
[Tivarra]: WHY DO WE WANT TO WIN?
    Everybody shouts: "FOR RYXTYLOPIA!"
[Tivarra]: THAT'S THE ATTITUDE EVERYBODY! DALÉ RYXTYLOPIA, DALÉ TRICOLÓOOOOOOOOOOR!

Everybody gets up in applause as the team prepares to go to the game. Tivarra hoping to finally have a chance at gold.

United Adaikes got a reaction from Nouveau in Rugby World Cup VI [rosters, roleplays, results]
The national rugby union team, currently sitting pretty at 3rd in the world, has announced its 31-player squad for the upcoming sixth Rugby World Cup (RWC6). This marks the team's fifth consecutive appearance on the global stage, and the federation is billing it as a "last dance" for a generation of players who have defined the last decade of the sport.
Coach Ferne Huxtable, 55, will lead a squad rich with experience but also tinged with the inevitability of change. "This isn't just about winning; it's about sending off some of the greatest servants of our jersey with the honor they deserve," Huxtable stated at the squad reveal. "They've built the legacy this new wave will carry forward."
The team's World Cup history is a rollercoaster of near-misses and hard-fought glory. They burst onto the scene with a Bronze Medal in the second tournament, narrowly missed the podium after a loss in the Bronze Medal match of the third, and then soared to the final of RWC4, ultimately clinching a Silver Medal. The last tournament, RWC5, ended in a disappointing Quarterfinal exit at the hands of the hosts, a defeat that has fueled this squad's preparations.
This tournament will be the final bow for several key veterans who are set to retire from all competitive rugby after the final whistle:
Tyrell Darwin (M, 37) and Hernan Jacobson (M, 37): The engine room of the forward pack, their partnership has been a cornerstone of the team's set-piece dominance for years. Koby Rose (M, 38): A fearless and cunning playmaker, Rose's game intelligence is unmatched. Keira Hull (F, 36): A relentless presence in the loose, whose work rate has inspired a generation of young back-row players. Cearra Hampton (F, 35) & Ursella Bissette (F, 31): While Bissette is younger, she has announced her international retirement to focus on family, ending a prolific center partnership with Hampton, who also hangs up her boots. Wing Stevie Christianson (M, 38), named among the reserves, will also retire, leaving behind a legacy of blistering pace and crucial tries. The squad balances this departing experience with exciting talent. Youngsters like fly-half Sidney Monk (22) and scrum-half Kole Boyce (22) represent the future, learning from the old guard before stepping into their shoes.
As the third-ranked team globally, expectations are high. The nation hopes to see its veterans, like the formidable lock Candi Guerra (F, 36) and the explosive fullback Baldwin Joiner (M, 34), cap their careers with one final, legendary campaign. For Coach Huxtable and her charges, RWC6 is about closing one chapter and, they hope, writing the first line of a glorious new one.
