TVNC - RWC VI with Railo, Eiva and Tixica too.

The broadcast starts not in the studio as in past editions, but in a VIP box in the Chacas' Arena, with a small table and Railo, Eiva and Tixica sitting down around it.

[Railo]: And we are... LIVE! Good evening viewers! You are watching TVNC! Im Tivan Railo, and im being joined once again by my co-workers: Nixta Eiva and Marco Tixica! We are on our 3rd RWC here following the national team.
[Eiva]: And apologies for cancelling the scheduled transmission for the round of 16, we had some logistical issues...
[Tixica]: We got stuck in traffic, that's what happened! No need to talk too fancy Eiva.
    [Eiva]: You! They don-
[Railo]: Calmmmmmm down, Eiva we're here to enjoy the match! And Tixica, you're here not to get fired!
[Eiva]: Since for those of you whom didn't know. Following the whole RWC V debacle with Tixica and Railo having a bit of an argument. Tixica nearly got fired from our program. We had to make up and beg the producers not to fire him.
[Railo]: I hate to admit it, but you give our show some personality and classic ryxtylopian flare and emotion.
[Tixica]: That's right! You two need me! This program needs me! This TV network-
[Railo]: Shshshshhhhh, calm down! No time to talk about that, we have an exciting match ahead! RYXTYLOPIA! VS STANEBURG!
[Tixica]: Right, right! The Pirates have been pretty consistant! I wish they gave me more tries to celebrate but Tivarra and his men had a fairly good group stage! And they bearly beat Larxia in the round of 16. I still belive some of the starters could've been different, but in the end it worked out.
[Eiva]: Well, our next opponent is as said previously: Staneburg, we won against them on the first day. And it seems like they are going to take their shot at revenge.

RYXTYLOPIA VS STANEBURG - WHAT CAN WE EXPECT?
[Railo]: Going into this match! Ryxtylopia still undefeated. 3/3 in the group stage, accumulating a PD of +21, not incredible by any means, but decent nontheless still achieved 2 bonus points! And we still had more scored than the we- er- Zoran!
[Tixica]: Anddddddd here we gooooooo- RYXTYLOPIA goes in full force with the main lineup! Darrias, Guilbirto, Visquelpá, Huilchica... oooh my mouth is watering hearing those.
    [Eiva]: Oh stop that!
[Railo]: Chalquaté, Armando Mataña, Xilta, Farris, Lisquerva, Zicha, Va'atí, Tivaña, Patochá, Aviliez Mataña, and of course Rivas!
[Tixica]: Its going to be a great game! Im ready to support! I won't stay here with you losers, im going with to spend the game with everybody else in the crowd! Amongst the smell of beer! The constant yelling! The beating drums! And waving flags!
    [Eiva]: Losers?!
[Railo]: You do you Tixica, I know you only want to be closer to Gaíves...
    [Tixica]: Well... maybe that too!
[Railo]: We'll get to him in a bit! But first lets give our opinion on the game! To win this Ryxtylopia has everything it could need, the question is if they can play well enough.
[Eiva]: Andreís Guilbirto is at his best. Darrias while not the same as in RWC V and IV is still by all means a good player. Our captain; Riberto Huilchica hasn't shown his best kicking but his leadership remains vital for the team.
[Tixica]: And wheeeeeeeeew, MARCO XILTA, has yet to fail a conversion! He has the best kicks in the team by FAR!!
[Railo]: Chalquaté made his debut with the first team in this RWC, he has speed when the moment calls for it. Some of our other speedy players include: Aviliez, Lisquerva and Zicha!
[Tixica]: Give some love to Farris too! Great tackling from his part even if he lacks in the kicking department!
[Eiva]: If i had to guess a direction for the game, it would be Ryxtylopia being agressive, pushing for tries, covering a lot of distance whenever gaps appear.

[Railo]: Well Eiva, now on to Staneburg's players: Lukas Reinhardt, Matthias König, Fabian Krüger, Stefan Keller, Moritz Lange, Jonas Hartmann, Sebastian Lenz, Daniel Maurer, Florian Adler, Marcel Schulte, Niklas Vogel, Christian Fuchs, Julian Wolff, Leon Schröder annnd Erik Albrecht. Will be starting for Staneburg.
[Tixica]: Ill be on the lookout for Vogel, he's young, and he had a fairly good game against us last time!
[Eiva]: Fabian Krüger is also a really solid player from their side. He made the try for them in that game. Agile that's for sure.
[Tixica]: Moritz Lange is also not to be overlooked! He nearly had a drop goal! But pressure from our players caused him to shoot with too much force! From what ive seen he has decent kicks!
[Railo]: Staneburg might either try to gain a lead in the first half, or play defensive and wear us down, it really depends on if they think they have the capacity to win this time, and if they feel confident enough.
[Tixica]: Then let's hope they dont!
[Eiva]: Don't be so harsh! Wish them good luck.
[Railo]: We'll have plenty of time to wish our opponents good luck after we meet Gaíves! Who you will see on screen shortly, but Tixica doesn't have to wait, as he's down there on the field.
[Tixica]: GAÍVES IM UP HERE! WAVE AT ME!

RYXTYLOPIA VS STANEBURG - SITUATION ON THE GROUND
[Gaíves]: Hello everybody! Thanks for having me again!
    [Railo]: Gaíve-
[Tixica]: WAVE AT ME, IM UP IN THE PRIVATE BOXES!
[Railo]: Tixica, you can go down with him for the game! Jeez! Alright Gaíves, what's the situation down there?
[Gaíves]: Conditions in the pitch great for rugby! We got an intense atmosphere! You can already feel the crowds on top of you here. Ive already chatted with some members of the staneburgian press, all the equipment is set up and ive seen members from their team staff coming to take a look at the conditions of the pitch!
[Railo]: Great great! Got to see any fans?
    [Gaíves]: Look behind me.
The camera pans to a near complete wall of yellow in the north stand of the Chacas Arena, as the people start waving, showing flags & banners and shouting at the camera.
[Gaíves]: There's quite a lot of people here. Ill see if anyone wants to talk.
Gaíves approaches the crowd, talking to a man with a yellow and blue cap, wearing the team's shirt.
[Gaíves]: What do you expect for today?
[Fan1]: Its a party out here! We're ready to greet our heroes! I didn't get to go to Dalimbar but i was in Overthinkers every single day the team played in! We're ready to see them give their everything for Ryxtylopia!
[Gaíves]: What do you think about Staneburg's team?
[Fan1]: Absolute respect. They surprised the nouveauterrans! And its clear they want to win! But we want to win more! We have to get to the final whatever the cost of it is!
    [Gaíves]: Alright, thanks!
Gaíves moves to a section with a banner reading "Veilja Fiel" interviewing another person.
[Gaíves]: Sir thoughts on the match?
[Fan2]: Staneburg won't get a warm reception that's what im saying! For the 80 minutes we'll chant CHACAS AND RYXTYLOPIA FIRST!
[Gaíves]: And how do you feel about our team's state.
[Fan2]: Im sure they'll do great! We'll be here for em!

[Railo]: And that's it ladies and gentlemen! Thank you very much Gaíves.
[Gaíves]: Thanks for having me here.
[Railo]: Time to watch the match!
    [Eiva]: Indeed!
[Tixica]: Ill get going down there with everybody else now!
[Railo]: And to our viewers, stay tuned! We'll be back after the match!

The camera switches to a view of the stadium preparing for the match.

Ryxtylopia VS Staneburg - Time to get serious.

It was the afternoon, as Tivarra and the ryxtylopian team headed to the Chacas Arena after training in Chacas' RC's training complex. Spirits were high, as this time no changes had been made to the team. Ryxtylopia would be playing their A-team and hopefully their A-game too.
Many people in social media had already criticized the coach for including 5 reserve and bench players in the Larxia game. While Tivarra wanted to give the reserve players more time for them to gain experience. After all, Rivas would retire soon, and he wanted to have more options, in case any of his players got injured.
But it didn't matter now, the focus was on once again beating Staneburg; The same country that had been their first rival in the group stage. A change in strategy was needed, as the staneburgian team would probably handle the ryxtylopian pressure better than last time, so the team had a chat while on the bus.

[Tivarra]: Alright, alright, silence everybody; listen carefully. Last time we went for the somewhat agressive approach, but I want you to get me more tries, build up your chances but don't jeopardize the defense. Even if it doesn't mean playing for posession of the ball I think it can still work.
[R. Huilchica]: So... defend, tackle, take the ball. Move up before they can respond and score?
[Tivarra]: Not too much defending, I want you to take the iniciative and the lead, once you have a comfortable enough lead, defend and wait for better chances to go on the counter.
    [R. Huilchica]: Got it.
[Tivarra]: I really want us to reach the final, we have been consistant, which is GOOD. But at the same time we have not been scoring as much as the other top teams.
[P. Darrias]: Ive noticed. However I also belive it was a good idea giving the reserves time, mainly Lapanté.
[E. Rivas]: Well, Staneburg are somewhat reminding me of our performance in RWC IV, where despite not being the best in the groups like Overthinkers, we made it up to the semifinals and then claimed bronze. Not a rival to underestimate, even if we already beat them once.
[Tivarra]: What Rivas said is what I have in mind, they've had some pretty good growth in short time.
[M. Xilta]: So that's the strategy?
[Tivarra]: Pretty much. You should all know what to do, I want you at your best with your kicking. You're still my Nº1 when it comes to conversions. Also don't overlook drop goals. I encourage you to go for tries but if the situation calls it, just get the points if you can, in the knockouts any points are good.
    [M. Xilta]: Aight.

    Everybody goes back to chatting.
[S. Guivaldi]: And what do you plan to do after retiring from the national team, Rivas?
[E. Rivas]: Well i had some talks with Lapanté, I think he'll make a great Fullback. As for me, I got some years left in Talaxachá still.
[S. Guivaldi]: 4 championships in a row. Must be great winning so much over Chacas isn't it?
[E. Rivas]: Yeah, but they got all their investment now, new stadium, and a stronger team this upcomming season.
[S. Guivaldi]: Wish Cazixé was in the same spot. As far as it looks we're headed for a 4th year in the second division.
[E. Rivas]: Cazixé is missed in the 1st. Its not the same having the 3rd most sucessful team rotting away down there.
[S. Guivaldi]: I got to see them fall, the finantial troubles aren't going away. Hopefully we can do like Chacas and get our finances in order, last season my salary got delayed, twice.
[E. Rivas]: Its that bad?! I didn't know that.
[S. Guivaldi]: I got off light, I had teamates who hadn't gotten paid in 4 months.
    [E. Rivas]: That's bad...
[S. Guivaldi]: At least i haven't experienced as much pain with the national team.
[E. Rivas]: You should come out about that, its a story the sports press would pick up now more than ever.
[S. Guivaldi]: You know, maybe you're right, i should look into it.

The bus arrives at the Chacas Arena, crowds outside waving banners and flags.
[Tivarra]: Alright everybody, we're here. I want to see your best. Beacause now more than ever WE HAVE TO WIN! DALÉ TRICOLÓR!!

Everybody shouts: Dalé Tricolór before applauding and getting off.

    Fortress Siniyled, Saint Andreisburg

Several hours following the announcement to the Free State and the barbarians beyond the waves on the transition of power, Marshal Briand and General Frank were enjoying several bottles of vodka while watching a repeat of one of the RWC matches. They were in the Marshal's private apartments within the fortress, both of them keen to get away from the rest of Stavka for at least a few moments.
"You know, Iosip, when I started this role I thought I was going to die in it. Half of the Marshals... concluded their terms in that fashion. And I'm not talking about the old Vozhds who led from the front." Briand took a sip of his vodka, and looked over at Frank.
"Markus, you've been my guide and mentor for years now. It wouldn't serve me well at all for you to be with your ancestors so soon. No, you served Dalimbar so well over the years, you deserve to put your boots up and get a nice dacha." Frank winked at Briand, before downing his own class.
Suddenly a soft knock on the door was heard, and both men sighed.
"What?" Briand yelled at the door, tempted to throw his glass at it.
"My commanders, it is Aleksey here. I have news from my branch you might be interested to hear!" Rear Admiral Aleksey Klement, Chief of External Affairs, said through the door.
Briand nodded at Frank who went to the door to allow Klement inside.
"Thank you, General Frank. I know you both wanted to be kept informed on how the outside is reacting to the news. The aristocrats over in Saint Mark have sent a cable noting their desire to continue and improve relations. They suggest their interest in you both touring the region."
"Hmm, good. What do you think, Markus, up for one last tour before you ride off to your dacha?" Frank cheerfully said to Briand.
Briand lit and took a drag from his cigarette. "Fine, but we should see if the Giovannese would also be interested in a visit. Two birds-one stone to keep them on side. Aleksey, get your branch to send a cable back to Saint Mark thanking them and noting our interest in a visit. Also one to Giovanniland asking them if they would be interested in a stop."
"Of course, my Marshal. Right away!" Klement quickly exited the room and sprinted back to the External Affairs offices.
"I will be happy to not see that man again. Such a suck-up little creep. Make sure you look at his file when you get a chance." Briand moodily said into his glass.
"Thanks for making him my problem, Markus. Oh well, I might get a new diplomat once the time is right. But let's not worry about that now, let's watch more of the game."

    THE CINPORT TIMES
JRA LOSES IN FIRST ROUND OF KNOCKOUT TOURNAMENTS
The Jer Rugby Association has been knocked out of the Rugby World Cup VI after losing on the first match of the knockout stage of the tournament. The following is an exclusive athlete perspective of the returning experience:
The Jerimiahia Rugby Association's team to the Rugby World Cup VI was in a commercial airliner bound for Cinport, their home nation's capital city very early in the morning after a loss in the first match of the knockout tournaments sent them out of the competition fast. All the players were seated near each other in the economy class section of the plane, getting served some drinks and snacks through the long-haul flight back home. It was going to be a while in those seats.
"Wait, what are we doing in economy class? I thought management was getting us first class?" Asks Brent Brahn as they take off back to Cinport to head home after their loss in the Rugby World Cup VI.
"Remember?" responds Flitt Fratt. "We had to switch hotels, so we had to save some money on our tickets back."
    "Right," Brahn responded.
"Can't believe we lost so early there," says Tert Quiss. "What went wrong?"
"Well to be fair, it's still our first year in this championship," says Alaann Forb. "I'm just glad we got to the knockouts." He takes a sip from his glass of cola. "At least it'll be nice to be home again, not in Ryxtylopia."
"I mean, it was pretty nice," says Mark Cleats. "Those cities truly are first class."
"And Jerimiahia has nothing to offer?" Asks Kirsk Klamn. "We may be small, and not the richest, but we're still the Jer, and we're still strong."
"Well duh," Cleats responds. "But you've got to admit, those stadiums were incredible."
"Ours would be better if we cared about rugby more, instead of fucking curling," Klamn says. "Our country is tropical! Why is our national sport a winter sport!"
Michels Vick entered the conversation, "well we just like it, I don't know what to tell you. We went up north, saw the game, and now we play it. Just that simple."
    "Damn that's silly," Klamn responds.
    "Fair enough," Michels responds.
Without a hitch (aside from occasional turbulence), the team landed back in the Cinport International Airport. As the team came off the airplane and into the airport, no one other than Prime Minister Jerimiah of Jerimiahia was waiting for them, with a swarm of armed guards, paparazzi, and members of the press.
"Welcome back," says Jerimimiah giving handshakes to the players on the team. "Congratulations on playing in the Rugby World Cup this year, I wish you the best for the following year."
"Sir," Michels says. "We didn't do that well, this is a little much."
    "Yeah," Klamn adds.
"It was better than many other teams, and plus you got our name out there," Jerimiahia responds. "Plus I didn't have much else to do today, my subordinates have been handling most issues for me," he said with a wink.
"Well I guess that makes enough sense," Michels says.
After the team of athletes conversed with the Prime Minister and members of the press, the members of the JRA went to a bar to celebrate their work later that evening. They are due to take the train home tomorrow after a night of well-deserved rest tonight.
After their first international outing, the JRA has made considerable success so far. I'm sure that the group will improve every year into the following tournaments. And as PM Jerimiah said, their work has paid off on the international stage by showing off who we are. We may not have beaten those rude people from Dalimbar, but we still showed them that we're mighty despite our size.
"If anyone from Dalimbar is reading this, I would like to tell you that we will be after your team. Such words uttered and actions made do not play nicely with us," Michels said after the fact.
Yes, I feel that such a sentiment resonates with many of us, as opinion polls on people's opinions of Dalimbar have gone even lower than before. The sport of Rugby has united us against their angry words. Calling our country "something that sounds made-up," amongst other things. Let next year be a confrontation between the two nations on the rugby field once more. Our work to tell the world of the Jer will not stop until we are as known as Zoran and Saint Mark on fields of every kind. Go Jerimiahia!

Teralyon Triumphs 24–15 Over Inseberistan to Reach Quarterfinals
Ryxtylopia – Teralyon’s Rugby World Cup dream stays alive after a thrilling 24–15 victory over a determined Inseberistan side in the Round of 16. The purple-clad Teralyonians displayed a masterclass in composure, skill, and tactical discipline, sending their fans into celebration across the nation.
The first half was a tense affair, as Inseberistan’s powerful forwards pushed Teralyon deep into their half. But the Teralyon defense, anchored by Radi Malenkov and Bozhil Nikolic, held firm, absorbing wave after wave of pressure. A brilliant counterattack saw Visnja Dvorkin break through the midfield to score the opening try, sending the crowd roaring. In the second half, the match became a battle of endurance. Zivko Koci, the captain, powered over the line for a crucial try to extend the lead, and kicker Dragos Pantelic was flawless from the tee, converting every opportunity.
Manager Ratko Jenic praised the team’s grit:
“Inseberistan gave us everything—they’re a proud rugby nation. But our boys stood tall, trusted the system, and got the job done.”
The 24–15 victory marks a historic moment for Teralyon, who now advance to the quarterfinals.

Teralyon Faces Formidable Zoran in Quarterfinal Showdown
Ryxtylopia – With the celebrations of their 24–15 triumph over Inseberistan still echoing across Teralyon, the national rugby team now faces their biggest challenge yet: Zoran, the former Rugby World Cup champions and a nation whose rugby legacy is as fierce as its history.
The matchup has fans and pundits buzzing. Both sides share a deep rivalry that transcends sport a friendly yet fiery contest that some commentators have playfully dubbed “Civil War 3” Though the term began as a tongue in cheek jab at their intense clashes on and off the pitch, it captures the emotion perfectly: pride, history, and passion colliding head-on once again.
Zoran brings unmatched experience to the quarterfinals, with a squad known for tactical precision, bruising defense, and quick counterattacks. But Teralyon’s form has turned heads; their discipline, physicality, and team chemistry have made them one of the tournament’s most exciting underdogs.
Coach Maldoc Wenavic addressed the magnitude of the clash:
“Zoran is a world-class side — champions for a reason. But our lads have grown stronger every match. We respect them, but we fear no one.”
For fans across the continent, this isn’t just another quarterfinal, it’s a rematch steeped in pride and sporting drama. And as Teralyon prepares to face their old rivals under the bright lights of Ryxtylopia, one thing is certain: the next chapter of this “civil war” will be written in sweat, steel, and purple glory.

    Alisdulo'i, Zoran
Chancellor Yenuha paced around his office as he waited for Mohe Ganohalidohi, leader of the Golden Crown party, to arrive for their meeting. He stares out the window, tapping his foot unconsciously, bags under his eyes. There are very few times in which  he has been this nervous in his career as chancellor or during the revolution, but with the next session in only a few hours and the no confidence vote looming over him, Ganohalidohi is his only hope now. He checked his watch again, the time barely having budged for the last time he checked.
Where is he? We agreed to meet at nine.
A knock from the office door interrupted his thoughts and in came Mohe Ganohalidohi, his iconic black pencil mustache and stone cold gaze a welcome surprise to Yenuha.
"Mohe! It's good to see you, did you have a nice trip here?" said Yenuha, relief evident in his voice.
"Yenuha, good to see you too. The trip was fine, thank you." he said as he walks further into the room and takes a seat, "Now, why don't we get straight down to business? You need my help with the upcoming vote."
Yenuha hanged his head with a sigh,
"Yes," he says begrudgingly, "I need the votes of the Golden Crown party to avert the mess of forming another government."
"Oh yes," said Mohe, "you mean the messy process you wish to avoid because you get to keep your job. I think we can help but we obviously need your party's help in exchange."
    "What is it?"
"We have a proposal in committee right now, a proposal which your party is trying to kill."
"You will have to be more specific." quipped Yenuha with a smirk,
"The Media Bias Bill." replied Mohe. Yenuha paled,
    "Oh yes, that bill."
"You must understand, Yenuha. This bill is needed more than ever to prevent mass media bias by corporations abroad in the news. Our citizenry need unbiased news that presents the cold hard facts." emphasized Mohe,
"It's a censorship bill! Don't pretend it is some noble cause! It would require all news outlets that release their articles or broadcasts to Zoran to go through a government agency!" exclaimed Yenuha,
"It's necessary for the internal stability of our country! With the Junaluskanists and the Brave Talons having their own partisan newspapers and foreign corporate owned media outlets pumping out content to manipulate the masses we need to regulate them to ensure they provide unbiased news reports!" argued Mohe,
    "It's a step towards totalitarianism!"
"Do you want the votes or not!?" yelled Mohe, "All we are asking is you let it pass through committee!"
Yenuha stood there silently seething at the demands of Mohe, but he punched the top of his desk with fury,
"Fine," he said through gritted teeth, "I will make sure your bill passes the committee."
Mohe smiled and rose from his seat,
"Then we will be sure you don't lose the vote. Thank you for your cooperation, Yenuha." he said as he made his way to the door,
"Yeah yeah. Get out of here." and with that Mohe left the office, the votes of the Golden Crown party secured...but at what cost?

Staneburg To Face Ryxtylopia in Quarterfinals

By James Smith, The Vaulernia Post
    Sat, October 4 1425

Staneburg Rugby is set to face the hosts Ryxtylopia in the Quarterfinals tonight. This match follows after Staneburg beat Hertfordshire and Jammbo in a tight match last round. The matchup carries added intrigue as the two sides already met in the group stage, where Ryxtylopia claimed a 9-point victory. This time, however, the stakes are higher: a place in the semifinals is on the line, and Staneburg are determined to make a name for themselves whilst Ryxtylopia are determined to go to their third semi-finals in a row. However, this poses a challenge for Staneburg as Ryxtylopia has been unbeaten in the tournament, so if they want a win they will need to push harder for that result. Team Manager Richard Schmidt spoke to us here in Ryxtylopia about their rugby world cup journey so far.
James Smith: Manager Schmidt, Congratulations on reaching the quarterfinals in Staneburg’s first rugby world cup. How would you describe the journey so far?
Richard Schmidt: Thank you. It’s been an incredible ride. We came into this tournament as newcomers and it wasn’t expected for us to be at this stage. But the players have shown real character. The win over Nouveauterra and Hertfordshire and Jammbo gave us belief. To already be in the quarterfinals, it’s a proud moment for Staneburg rugby.
James Smith: That Round of 16 victory over Hertfordshire and Jammbo was a thriller. What impressed you most about your side’s performance?
Richard Schmidt: The resilience. We went behind early, and The Youkai are a team that know how to punish mistakes. But the squad never lost hope. Every time we fell behind, someone stepped up; whether it was Hartmann with a penalty, Maurer with his drop goal, or Schröder finishing that crucial try. At this stage, you need those big moments, and we found them.
James Smith: You now face Ryxtylopia, a team that beat you in the group stage. What’s the mindset going into this rematch?
Richard Schmidt: Some might call this a revenge match but I believe It’s about redemption. They’re the hosts, they’re unbeaten, and they already have a win over us. That makes them the favorites. But we see it as a chance to show how far we’ve come. In that group match, we made errors; missed tackles, indiscipline at the breakdown and they punished us. If we’ve learned from that, and if we bring the same spirit we showed against The Youkai, then we’ll be in this game until the very end.
James Smith: What will be key for Staneburg if you’re to pull off an upset?
Richard Schmidt: Discipline, first and foremost. You can’t give Ryxtylopia easy points from penalties. Then it’s about our forwards standing tall. They have a big pack, but we’ve got players who are ready to prove themselves. And finally, taking our chances. When facing experienced teams, you might only get two or three clear scoring opportunities, you have to make them count.
James Smith: Finally, what would a win over Ryxtylopia mean for Staneburg Rugby?
Richard Schmidt: It would mean everything. We’ve already made our country proud, but we’re not done yet. This team has fought, and we want to prove it one more time.
Staneburg hopes to redeem themselves by beating the hosts to advance to the Semi-finals, however they would need more than that to achieve this goal. A win for Staneburg will see them facing Nouveauterra or Dalimbar in the Semis. Staneburg sees this as a chance to make a name for themselves.

United Adaikes reacted to Saint Mark in Rugby World Cup VI [rosters, roleplays, results]
In the Saint Mark Locker Room:

Coach Sir Evan Rahl is standing at a whiteboard in front of his seated team.
"In our previous clash, the Sharks edged us 27–21. The biggest problem? Breakdown speed. Adaikes’ back row—Blossom Crespo and Keira Hull in particular—slowed our service, leaving us scrambling and unable to launch the backline effectively. When Nelson doesn’t get clean ball, we’re sunk. Baxtor, Bruno, and Marcarius, you need to prioritize ruck clearance above all else."
    He turned to Nelson.

"Your boot is one of our best weapons. By pinning Adaikes deep and forcing their aging veterans to turn, you can sap their legs and shift pressure back onto the Sharks. Look for angled grubbers behind Hull and Crespo to exploit their slower recovery pace."
Turning back to the group ...
"Michael, you must fire crisp, rapid passes to Nelson. If you hesitate, Hull and Hampton will swarm the ruck. If the ball is fast, Nelson has the chance to open channels wide for Blitzen and Dancer on the wings.
The Sharks’ midfield—Bissette and Hampton—are brilliant defensively but both in their 30s. Nelson’s sharp inside passes to Arthur and Colin could exploit tired legs and create mismatches late in each half.
In a tight knockout contest, every point matters. Nelson’s drop goal against Giovanniland was a feat of nerve. Nelson, we need you to line up opportunistic shots from 30–35 meters whenever the Sharks’ defense slows our attack.
Of course, Adaikes is an excellent team and is not without answers. Koby Rose’s game intelligence at wing and Tyrell Darwin’s control of the lineout could starve us of possession. If Nelson is forced to defend more than he directs, the balance shifts firmly to the Sharks.
You all know what’s at stake: a place in the Semi Finals, revenge for our earlier loss, and a chance to etch ourselves into Principality rugby lore. The heartbeat of this effort will be Nelson's ability to dictate tempo, carve open defenses, and punish every Shark misstep. Nelson doesn’t need to play a perfect game. He just needs to play a smart one.”

    Ryxtylopia VS Larxia- Match Highlighs.

The TVNC tranmission started in the Chacas Arena, full as usual. The crowds chanting "Tricolór Tricolór!" right as the national anthems started playing
Pablo Virriscayda once again was in charge of the live commentry for TVNC.

"Hello everybody! Its a special day today! You're watching TVNC! And im Pablo Virriscayda! Ahead of us we have an exciting match! Its going to be none other than RYXTYLOPIA! VS LARXIA! Ryxtylopia was the second best placed team overall and we'll be facing on paper the second worst!"
"Ryxtylopia last match against materos achieved a close victory! As while the main team has a lot of experience, the reserves haven't been given as much time. But it seems Tivarra still sees their potential as we have 5 players from the reserves here today!"

Larxia wins the coin toss, deciding to start by kicking off.
"The coin is tossed, and it seems... Larxia will kick off!"

KICK OFF The sea lions kick off, the match starting, both teams instantly going at eachother for posession, the game starting really roughly with frecuent tackles and rucks.
"And, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE ROUND OF 16 IS NOW UNNNNNNDERWAY! DALÉ RYXTYLOPIA, DALÉ TRICOLOR!"

06'  |  0-0 Starting strong, Larxia came off better from the first series of rucks, with their lock: Lucas Gomez making progress into the ryxtylopian side however, he got tackled by Kaixe Disquerravia, just as Julio Disquerravía retook the ball for Ryxtylopia André Fernandes tackled. In the ensuing ruck it would be Larxia's Captain: Rafael Lima, who almost neared the Ryxtylopian backline, being tackled by fullback: Theo Lapanté who had unexpectedly replaced Rivas this evening. As the pirates retook posession.
"Larxia is on the attack! Gomez makes it through! Tackled by Kaixe Disquerravia! Now Julio Disquerravia retaakes for the pirates! Ryxtylopia makes back ground! Tackle by Fernandes! Ruck! Ruck! Both teams struggle for the ball! Its Lima who has the ball! He nears the back, Lapanté moves out! He tackles! Ryxtylopia doesn't concede and retakes posession!"

17'  |  0-0 Ryxtylopia had a good opening to score in the 17th. But the larxians following their poor performance in their group had seemingly switched their game. As Riberto Huichilca ran forwards, he got tackled by Guilherme Ferreira, however Ezicaiel Viraxa was near, he regained posession and with Larxians closing in, he attempted a drop goal, but Carlos Pinto made it just in time to block his shot.
"Huichilca with the ball! Our captn' makes ground! He avoids the first larxians... Tackleeee! Tackle! By Ferreira, Viraxa takes the ball back with quick thinking! He moves forward, it may be better to go for a drop goal! Viraxa, Viraxa, Viraxa, Viraxaaaaaaaaaaa- BLOCKED BY PINTO! Viraxa's shot at the goal gets blocked by Pinto whom was just in front of him! It remains 0-0 here in the Chacas Arena!"

25'  |  0-0 Nos soimos e Tricolór! Nos soimos e Tricolór! Sempre combativo, ne Aura ninca vyncido e hoy prixecamos ganair!
With support from the crowds strong, the pìrates attempted to build up to a play, with quick passes, first from Marco Xilta to Theo Farris, then from T. Farris to Rinaco Dipartí and finally from R. Dipartí to Fiago Avaís, whom got incredibly close to scoring a try, to then be surrounded by Gonçalo Soares and Nuno Ramos, with the former tackling Avaís and the Latter retaking the ball for Larxia.
"Xilta! Pass! To Farris! Farris makes distance quickly! Pass to Dipartí! Pulls near the center! The ball goes backwards in another pass now to Avaís! The Larxians try to make back ground! Avaís gets close! Soares and Ramos prepare to intercept! Tackle by Soares! Annnnd Ramos regains for Larxia!"

31'  |  0-0 Chances for both teams as the 31st started, first it was Larxia, with João Silva leaving Rinaco Zicha in the dust after avoiding a tackle, to make within 15 meters of scoring as K. Disquerravia tackled to protect Ryxtylopia, with his teamate Aviliez Mataña picking up the ball and making full speed forwards, as the larxian forwards being near the middle chased him on the flank. As Mataña got tired now on the larxian side he passed to Andreís Guilbirto near the middle lane, Guilbirto avoiding getting tackled by Carlos Pinto, only to fall into Rodrigo Teixeira's arms, as the minute ended, neither team had scored.
"Larxia on the attack! Silva makes speed! Zicha attempts tackling! He cannot catch him! Larxia nears the goal, it will be up to Lapanté or Disquerravia! TACKLE by Disquerravia, Mataña picks up the ball! Now Ryxtylopia on the counter! Reis can't catch up, he's too far away! Mataña makes it past the midfield! He runs more slowly! Pass to Guilbirto, Guilbirto has a chance! Avoids tackle by Pinto!! Guilbirto- TEIXEIRA! TACKLE! Guilbirto misses the chance to score!"

HALF TIME By half time, following a heavily contested game around the midfield neither team had gained an advantage, with both teams trying to attack, their forwards clashed at the center with tackles and rucks, anyone who got through on either side would be stopped by the other team's defense, so the game remained in a stalemate.
"Annnnd- HALF TIME! Ladies and Gentlemen, Ryxtylopia is tying with Larxia on the round of 16 of RWC VI, we still have another 40 minutes ahead of us! So make sure to use the time in the break to get a drink or some popcorn! Larxia has not been the same as in the group stage!"

48'  |  0-0 Not even after half time did the pace of the game slow down, it was still heavily contested between both teams. Larxia's team pushing with all their might apparently having received a boost of motivation following the group stage. The Pirates on for the second half of the match started playing more cautiously, instead of taking the iniciative, deciding to hold back and wait to exploit any mistakes in attack by Larxia.
"Ruck... Ball for Darrias! Tackle! Ruck again! Larxia with posession! And ANOTHER RUCK! Ladies and Gentlemen, this has to be one of the rugby matches with the most tackles ever!"

56'  |  0-0 Larxia bearly missed a chance on the 56th. Bruno Carvalho moved up, making a key pass to L. Gomez, whom was able to avoid the ryxtylopian defense and get extremly close to scoring the try. But with Rinaco Zicha following close behind, not giving Gomez a chance to pass behind or to the side, he was forced into the left, where Ezicaiel Varrazqué and T. Lapanté cut him off, Lapanté managing the tackle as Varrazqué regained posession.
"Bruno is moving up! He's going to get tackled if he keeps going! Pass to Gomez! Gomez moves up, the Ryxtylopians are switching their focus to the left! Zicha could tackle if he runs faster! Gomez needs to make it past Lapanté! TAAAACKLE BY LAPANTÉ!! Varrazqué retakes the ball! Ryxtylopia attempts to strike back!"

    59'  |  7-0 F. Avaís (RYX)
    M. Xilta (RYX)
Before the clock hit the 60-minute mark, another one of Larxia's attacks was absorbed by the ryxtylopian defense, following the ruck Ezicaiel Viraxa led the counterattack. Managing to avoid G. Ferreira before passing to T. Farris before Diogo Mendes could tackle. Farris ran as fast as he could aiming for the Larxian goal, but with N. Ramos about to cut him off, he veered right and managed the pass to F. Avaís, who was far enough from N. Ramos and Vasco Pereira to get past and score the first (and only) try of the game.
Ryxtylopia's main kicker, M. Xilta took the conversion, scoring it, bringing Ryxtylopia up by 7.
"Viraxa exits the ruck! The larxian players get up and give chase! He avoids getting tackled by Ferreira! Ball to Farris! Larxia is on the ball foot, Farris pressuring them! Ramos can take it back to Larxia! Pass to Avaís! Pereira's POSITION ISN'T GOOD AND- SCORE! SCORE! SCORE! SCORE! SCOOOOORE!! AVAÍS! AVAÍS! AVAÍS! GIVES RYXTYLOPIA THE LEAD! Unless make points, the pirates will be going to the quarterfinals!"

64'  |  7-0 Larxia's attack by this stage started to push even harder against the Ryxtylopians, with R. Lima leading a counter push following a ruck, then achieving a good pass to A. Fernandes, who made only a bit of distance before a tackle from J. Disquerravía created a ruck, as both ryxtylopian and larxian players rushed, but it would be G. Ferreira who came out with posession, nearing the ryxtylopian side, as E. Varrazqué, Rinaco Patochá and A. Mataña rushed to face him. Now with no options. Ferreira attempted a drop goal, but with Varrazqué and Mataña almost on top of him, his attempt was poor, veering off and missing.
"Lima with the ball! Pass to Fernandes! Ryxtylopia tries to contain! Tackle by Disquerravía! Larxia keeps up attacking! Now we can't see the ball, its on the ground! Ferreira regains it! Moves forward! He's nearly there! Varrazqué and Patochá go forward! Mataña not far behind! Ferreira has to get past them or kick it now! He's running out of time! He's getting tackled! Kick by Ferreira- ANNND- MISS! His nerves betrayed him when he made that kick!"

75'  |  7-0 The larxian players started to get desperate, the gap in points could be close with a try. But Ryxtylopia at this point was just playing for time, waiting to regain posession and get the ball as far as possible from their side. With this, the last good chance larxia had came 5 minutes before the clock hit 80' Pedro Reis, recevied a good pass from R. Lima, and as it seemed E. Varrazqué would tackle him, Varrazqué slipped as he tried to grab his opponent, as the other ryxtylopians braced for the worst, with Reis determined to score the try, as he got near it seemed it would be up to T. Lapanté, but as the ryxtylopian fullback prepared to stop the larxian K. Disquerravia seemingly ran as fast as a horse, tackling race and letting Lapanté get the ball away.
"We are 5 minutes from the end! Intense match! Lots of tackles and rucks! Lima to Reis! Reis runs forward! Varrazqué can stop him! Reis, Varrazqué, Reiiis- VARRAZQUÉ MISSED! Oh dear! Reis could actually finish making it through! Its up to Lapanté! Reis, Reis, Reiiiiiiiis- DISQUERRAVIA, DISQUERRAVIA, DISQUERRAVIA, DISQUERRAVIA, DISQUERRAVIAAAAAAAA- STOPS THE LARXIAN! RYXTYLOPIA MAKES IT OUT OF THE SIUTATION ALIVE!"

FULL TIME After Reis' chance, Larxia struggled to get possession, and Ryxtylopia half-heartedly counterattacked. The match ended with Ryxtylopia winning 7-0. Not as much as expected, it set some alarmbells for Tivarra, who wouldn't be able to depend on his reserves so much for the later matches. Nevertheless the Pirates won, meaning they'd move on to the quarterfinals.
"Its almost over, ruck, Darrias... FULL TIME!!! RYXTYLOPIA TO THE QUARTERFINALS! AFTER A HARD-FOUGHT MATCH! TIVARRA TOOK A GAMBLE, IT BEARLY PAID OFF... BUT IT PAID OFF NONTHELESS. THE PIRATES WILL BE IN THE QUARTERS!!"

"Ladies and Gentlemen, that match was INTENSE! Ryxtylopia seems to struggle against some on paper weaker nations' and Tivarra took a lot of risk by deciding to let key players take a break, saving them for the later matches. If the gamble hadn't worked out he would be out of the national team! But the men of the ARR made it through!"
"I got confirmation, Staneburg won their match against Hertfordia! Meaning we'll be once again facing Staneburg, this time for the Quarterfinals! It seems as one of the favorites: Overthinkers also fell to Nouveauterra. As all the teams from Group A move on! This group had more quality than expected!"
"But that will be it for today ladies and gents! The Pirates want their 3rd Semifinal in a row. Staneburg wants revenge! We have an exciting game ahead! But that will be all from my part, ive been Pablo Virriscayda and you have watched TVNC, ryxtylopia's best channel for anything sport-related! We'll see you soon, on our analisis of the match and be ready for RYXTYLOPIA VS STANEBURG!"
    "DALÉ TRICOLÓR!"

    The transmission ends.

Nelson Saint Mark: The Fly-Half Who Lit the Way
By Jessica Confabula, Senior Sports Correspondent
When the final whistle blew at 22–17, there was no doubt who had orchestrated the Lions’ victory: Nelson Saint Mark. The Principality’s fly-half delivered a performance that blended tactical nous, calm under pressure, and flashes of brilliance that reminded everyone why he wears the No. 10 jersey.
    Kicking Clinic
Nelson’s boot dictated the rhythm of the match. He struck four penalty goals cleanly through the uprights, punishing Giovanniland for their ill-discipline at the breakdown. His 67th-minute drop goal was a turning point—stretched the lead from two points to five and forced Giovanniland to chase the game.
    Playmaking Vision
What separates a good fly-half from a great one is vision. Nelson’s ability to see space before others do was on full display. In the 55th minute, spotting Giovanniland’s defensive line drifting inward, he lofted a perfect looping pass wide to Christopher Dancer, who raced in for the Lions’ crucial try.
    Composure Under Fire
Under relentless pressure from Giovanniland’s back row, Nelson never flinched. Twice he absorbed crunching tackles, yet managed to offload and keep the play alive. His partnership with scrum-half Michael Hawk looked sharper than ever, producing quicker ball and smoother transitions from rucks.
    Stat Line vs. Giovanniland
Points Scored: 17 (4 penalties, 1 drop goal, 1 conversion)
    Assists: 1 (Dancer’s try)
Tackles Made: 6 (including a key cover tackle on Flamma-Fortunato)
    Kicking Accuracy: 83%
    Looking Ahead
Nelson now faces perhaps the sternest test of his career: the United Adaikes Sharks in the Quarter Finals. In the pool stage defeat, he admitted to being outpaced at the breakdown. This time, his task is clear—accelerate distribution, punish mistakes, and inspire belief.
If he plays as he did against Giovanniland, Saint Mark’s Lions may yet turn the roar into a thunder.

Staneburg Advance to the Quarterfinals After Tight Contest.

    By Anna Wilson, SBC Sports
    Fri, October 3 1425

Staneburg Rugby booked their place in the Quarterfinals of the Rugby World Cup after beating Hertfordshire and Jammbo, also known as The Youkai, in a tense 19 - 21 match at the Istadio Raquivas.
The first half was dominated by The Youkai, who struck first in the 18th minute. Omega Sheremeta powered through Staneburg’s defence to score beneath the posts before converting his own try, giving his side a 7 - 0 lead. Staneburg responded in the 26th minute when Oliver Busch intercepted a pass and immediately passed to Jonas Hartmann, who raced clear to dive over the line. However, the captain was unable to convert, leaving the score at 7 - 5.
Hertfordshire and Jammbo regained momentum when Richard Hammond’s incisive run carved open Staneburg’s defence for their second try. Though the conversion was missed, The Youkai extended their lead to 12 - 5. A late first-half penalty from Hartmann steadied Staneburg’s nerves, narrowing the gap to 12 - 8 at the break.
The second half saw Staneburg grow into the game. Just three minutes after the restart, Daniel Maurer coolly slotted a drop goal making the scoreline 12 - 11. Both teams attempted to push the defences as the pressure built up. The breakthrough came in the 56th minute when Hartmann’s drop ball attempt pushed Staneburg ahead for the first time at 12 - 14.
But the Youkai would not back down. In the 64th minute, Robin Kazaks darted down the right wing to score The Youkai’s third try, with Madotsuki Urokitis converting to restore their advantage at 19 - 14.
With time running out, Staneburg needed something special to keep them in the tournament. In the 74th minute, Marcel Schulte spotted space out wide and sent Leon Schröder through a gap. Schröder powered past two defenders to cross the line, leaving Hartmann with a crucial conversion attempt. The fans were silent as he prepared to make the conversion. The captain held his nerve, slotting it through to put Staneburg 19 - 21 ahead in the closing stages.
Despite a late surge from The Youkai, Staneburg’s defence stood firm until the final whistle, sparking wild celebrations as the team advanced to the Quarterfinals.
Elsewhere in the Round of 16, Nouveauterra stunned Overthinkers in a close contest, while United Adaikes, Saint Mark, Zoran, Teralyon, Dalimbar, and Ryxtylopia all advanced to the next stage. The Quarterfinals promise high drama with United Adaikes facing Saint Mark once again, Zoran clashing with Teralyon, and Nouveauterra meeting Dalimbar.
Staneburg is set to face a familiar face; hosts Ryxtylopia. The two sides already met in the group stage, where Ryxtylopia came out on top by nine points. With the hosts still unbeaten, Staneburg will need another spirited performance if they are to exact revenge and book a place in the Semi-Finals. A win for either side will see them face either Nouveauterra or Dalimbar.
Will Staneburg rise to the occasion once more, or will Ryxtylopia’s form prove too strong? The answer lies ahead.

Prince Marcarius, seated behind a polished mahogany desk covered with neat piles of correspondence and bulletins, looks up from the one he has been reading and addresses his Personal Secretary, Clarkson.
"I see the line of succession has been set in Dalimbari. I would like to nurture our developing relationship there. Under Marshall Briand, we have seen very useful improvements in the trade situation, not to mention the advances our missionaries have made in the east. The dossier on General Frank looks favorable. He is a close friend of the Marshall and seems likely to continue his policies. Please alert the Foreign Office that they should begin inquiries with Dalimbari to see if a visit might be arranged. Perhaps a private tour of the Royal Maritime Museum of Antiquities with the Marshall and General Frank ... they admire our imperial history. This could be followed by a dinner that would also include those from business, military, and church positions ... nothing elaborate ... more of an opportunity to get to know everyone."
Clarkson takes a few notes. "Yes, Sir. I'll see that this is put into motion immediately."

“We Showed Our Pride”: Coach Sir Evan Rahl Reflects on Saint Mark’s Win Over Giovanniland
By Jessica Confabula, Senior Sports Correspondent
Jessica Confabula (JC): Sir Evan, congratulations on the 22–17 win against Giovanniland. How are you feeling about the performance?
Sir Evan Rahl (SER): Thank you, Jessica. I feel proud of the boys. Giovanniland are a quality side with a lot of continuity in their roster, and they came at us with real intent. Their set piece work—especially Lodagi and Liogalla in the front row—tested us throughout. But our lads stood up, played with heart, and found the moments we needed to get over the line.
JC: It was a hard-fought game that seemed to swing back and forth. Where, in your view, was the match won?
SER: Two areas stand out: composure and execution in key phases. In the last quarter, when the pressure was highest, we showed patience. Nelson [Saint Mark] managed the game superbly—his kicks to touch, his vision to spread wide, and his calmness under fire made the difference. We didn’t try to force it; we waited for Giovanniland to blink first.
JC: Let’s talk about Nelson. He seemed to take the match by the scruff of the neck, especially in the second half.
SER: Nelson was magnificent. Fly-halves are judged by decision-making under pressure, and he passed the test. His drop goal in the 67th minute—when we were only two points ahead—was a dagger. It gave us breathing room and shifted momentum. And that looping pass to Christopher Dancer for the try down the right wing was pure class. Nelson was reading Giovanniland’s backline like an open book.
JC: Some commentators felt Giovanniland’s captain, Marko Telliano Ulpio, was dangerous every time he touched the ball. How did you contain him?
SER: Ulpio is an exceptional winger, and he nearly broke us on a couple of occasions. But credit to Blaze Emberfell at fullback and Gregor Napoli on the flank—they tracked him tirelessly. Blaze’s cover tackle in the 72nd minute was probably a match-saver. If Ulpio scores there, we’re having a very different conversation tonight.
JC: Let’s pivot to what’s next: the Quarter Final against United Adaikes. They beat you 27–21 earlier in this tournament. How do you prepare for the Sharks?
SER: With respect and steel. They’re ranked third in the world for a reason. Their veterans—Tyrell Darwin, Hernan Jacobson, and Koby Rose—are some of the most battle-hardened players in rugby. We learned a hard lesson in the pool stage: their back row, Crespo and Hull in particular, dominated the breakdown. If we don’t fix our speed at the ruck, we’ll be punished again.
JC: What adjustments are you planning compared to the first meeting?
SER: We need faster ball. That means Hawk at scrum-half must link with Nelson more quickly, and our forwards have to clean out more ruthlessly. Baxtor and Bruno Goldwash have been improving every match; if they can anchor the scrums against Arias and Clement, we’ll have a platform. And discipline—Adaikes thrive off penalties. We cannot give them cheap points.
JC: The Sharks are calling this tournament a “last dance” for several of their stars. Does that add emotional weight to the clash?
SER: Certainly. Veterans like Rose and Darwin will throw everything into it—it could be their final international run. That makes them dangerous, but also predictable in some ways. We respect the legacy they’ve built, but our focus is writing our own chapter.
JC: Finally, what’s your message to the fans of Saint Mark as the Lions march into the Quarter Finals?
SER: Believe in this team. Tonight showed the pride and resilience of the Lions. Giovanniland pushed us to the brink, but we stood firm. Against Adaikes, we’ll need every ounce of support, every voice cheering us on. The lads know what’s at stake, and I promise we’ll give everything for the Principality.
JC: Sir Evan, thank you. Congratulations again on the victory, and good luck against the Sharks.
SER: Thank you, Jessica. The Lions are roaring.

United Adaikes got a reaction from Saint Mark in Rugby World Cup VI [rosters, roleplays, results]
The group stage of the sixth Rugby World Cup has concluded, and the picture for the knockout rounds is crystal clear. Emerging from the pack as the tournament's top-ranked team is none other than United Adaikes, who sealed a perfect group stage with a professional 13-3 victory over a dogged Larxia side.
While the performance against Larxia was not the free-flowing try-fest of their first match, it was a testament to the team's maturity and adaptability. United Adaikes leaned on its formidable set-piece and the reliable boot of fullback Hernan Jacobson to grind out the result. The defense, led by the relentless tackling of back-rowers Keira Hull and Blossom Crespo, was imperious, snuffing out every Larxian attack and conceding only a single penalty.
This victory was about more than just winning the group; it was about securing the most favorable path to the final. The tie for first place overall with hosts Ryxtylopia—both finishing on 14 points—was broken by points difference. United Adaikes’ dominant early performances, including their 32-10 demolition of Ageros, paid the ultimate dividend, giving them a superior points difference of +38 to Ryxtylopia’s +21.
The Reward: A Clash with the Ultimate Underdog
As the #1 seed, United Adaikes’ reward is a Round of 16 matchup against the 16th-seeded Arifiyyah.
On paper, it is a dream draw. Arifiyyah is winless, the lowest-seeded team in the knockouts, having qualified as the best 4th-placed team thanks to a remarkable haul of four bonus points. Their never-say-die attitude was on full display in their final group match, where they pushed group winners Zoran to the brink in a 23-17 loss, securing the bonus point that ultimately booked their ticket.
However, Coach Ferne Huxtable is warning against any complacency. "A team that fights for every point, even in defeat, is a dangerous team," Huxtable stated in a press conference. "They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. We will not be taking them lightly. Our focus and intensity must be at the level of a semi-final, not a first-round knockout."
The Road to the Cup is Set
The knockout bracket, determined by the snake-seeding system, offers a clear view of the potential path to glory for the top seeds.
A victory for Adaikes would see them face the winner of the all-Auran clash between Saint Mark (8) and Giovanniland (9) in the Quarterfinals. Crucially, the #1 seed avoids the other top contenders like hosts Ryxtylopia (2) and powerhouses Overthinkers (3) and Dalimbar (6) until a potential final.
For a squad laden with veterans playing in their last World Cup, this is the perfect scenario. The pressure is on, but the path is laid before them. The mission for United Adaikes is no longer just to compete; it is to validate their #1 seeding and march relentlessly towards rugby's ultimate prize.
The nation holds its breath. The knockout stage awaits.

United Adaikes reacted to Giovanniland in Rugby World Cup VI [rosters, roleplays, results]
Tsalapaní, Ryxtylopia — Giovanniland has finished its group stage in the 6th Rugby World Cup in second place, with two victories and one defeat. The team started strong in the match against Zogradia, with Demetro Ferenni scoring two tries in quick succession, one of which was converted by Paldena Lartidiano, and then the young fly-half Tarquino Albavetta added five more points, leading to a score of 17-0 at half-time. Although the Zogradian team managed to score a lone try and conversion in the second half, Giovanniland reaffirmed its strength when Samanta Alba Nima racked up another seven points for the Esquadra Nationale, and the game finished 24-7.
In the second game, although Giovanniland started strong when Samanta scored a try in the fifth minute, Overthinkers quickly responded with two tries by Jena Cantor and Alan Cord, followed by conversions, and the first half ended with a 14-5 score for our opponents. They further increased their lead by another seven points in the early second half, and although Giovanniland began to stage a comeback with Petro Numeriani scoring a try and Demetro converting a penalty, it was not enough to draw the game, and Giovanniland lost 13-26.
Last but not least, our team bounced back with a 16-10 victory against Jerimiahia! Their team was the first to score, when Mark Cleats gave his team 3 points via a penalty following a foul, but Giovanniland soon scored two tries, one by Demetro and one by captain Marko Telliano Ulpio. Near the start of the second half, Jerimiahian player Michels Vick drew the game 10-10 after a try and conversion, but the Esquadra Nationale was determined to regain the lead, and so it happened via a beautiful drop goal and a penalty, both by Kornelio Lodagi! Our team now meets fellow Auran neighbors Saint Mark in the round of 16, and looks forward to a victory so we can equal last World Cup's performance.
Abrentopole, Giovanniland — In recent times, a particular style of fusion cuisine has regained popularity all over Giovanniland, namely the Gyomeshi (ギョ飯). This Minsunese word comes from the roots Gyo, the first syllable in their transcription of the name Giovanniland, and meshi, meaning 'meal'. Although Giovanniland and Minsu have had close relations for centuries, the idea of mashing together traditional elements of each national cuisine is more recent. It began within Minsu in the last century and soon spread to Giovanniland, but it wasn't until now that it experienced a great revival.

A common concept in this cuisine, pictured to the left, is to mix the traditional Abrentan pasta from Giovanniland with  Minsunese fish and nori seaweed. Another example of dish involving pasta is specifically given the name Aburento (アブレント), in homage of the region in Giovanniland where pasta recipes first arose. The Aburento (pictured on the right) features soft-cooked spaghetti, tomato ketchup, onion, button mushrooms, green peppers, sausage, bacon and optionally Tabasco sauce.
Somewhat more controversial has been the fusion between two different signature dishes from Giovanniland and Minsu, respectively the pizza and sushi. Dubbed 'pizzushi' or 'sushizza', this meal has divided opinions between those who love it and those who hate it. "I doubt I would ever utter those words, but I think I have finally found something worse than pineapple pizza from Overthinkers!", remarked self-styled 'food traditionalist' Federigo Sabellio-Lurtoni. On the other hand, pizzamaker Martina Opiterni has defended the creation, exalting the integration of two different cultures and also stating that it has boosted her pizzeria's popularity.

    Part 2
    Plage des Moines
    Agentum, La Havre

A woman jogged on her own in the early morning. She wore shorts and a tank top, even with the chill of the seaside air cutting through her. A small pistol grip imprinted on the hip of her shorts. The jogger’s earbuds blasted vintage house music. Her ponytail bounced with each stride. Her face and her steps were confident. The woman slowed down as she saw a man come into greater focus.

The man stood with a dress shirt and slacks on the stony path. He had very heavy stubble, and side-parted hair. He kept his pockets in his hands.

“Morning Clara,” the man said. The woman slowed her pace and took out her earbuds.

“You followed me to my jogging path?” Clara replied. The man shrugged.

“You said you’d be jogging by the sea if I needed you,” the man said. “But you even blocked my push notifications.” Clara rolled her eyes.

“Come on Lamar, it’s off hours. If it’s about work I’m not answering anything,” Clara said. Lamar took a step closer.

“What if it was for something important?” Lamar asked. Clara took her earbuds out. Lamar took a phone from out of his pocket. He quickly opened it to reveal a text message from Rodner Bonne.

([x] = an explanation relevant to the world) I heard some weird shit at the shooting range yesterday. I thought it was just some racists. I poke my head out and they look like our CT [counter-terrorism] guys. One even had a trapèze tattoo [a symbol of the Viriarma]. A lot of guys. Maybe a dozen or more. They were cheering about a young guy with red marks on their hands. I’m only telling you because DD Van Wittehuis from IA was there [Internal Affairs] [Dux Ductor, 2nd highest investigator rank]. I know if I brought anything up it’d reach his desk and get canned. Please look into them. They were talking about needing a skilled shooter.
Clara looked back up at Lamar. “This is crazy,” Clara said. “Our guys, even IA? How do you know this is on the up and up?”

Lamar put away his phone. “Rodner isn’t one to gossip. This is the only time he’s texted me anything like this, ever.”

“But I mean come on, Van Wittehuis? He’s watched like a hawk,” Clara said. “He’s the number two man for Department Nord IA, wouldn’t he be vetted?” Lamar held up a hand.

“Yes, but it was at the range out in Pics Rouges by the Proving Grounds,” Lamar said. “It’s our turf. Why else would Van Wittehuis be there? He wasn’t clinking anybody.” Clara shook her head. “Could we at least look into it?”

    “Red marks." Clara paused.

"That’s The Red Line,” Clara said. Lamar and Clara stood silently for a moment. “We’ve only seen some wackos online spout shit for a while but this. It’d be our own people, Lamar.”

“It’s why WE have to look into it,” Lamar said. “They’re the perfect targets for that stuff. Former military, current law enforcement. Good with guns, cool under pressure, and able to make real attack plans. A terrorist group's dream recruits.” Clara looked out to the ocean. Then she turned her head back.

“Okay,” Clara said. “We at least have to tell Crecy. If these guys really are on the inside, then we better have someone else who knows too. Text me everything you know. I’ll call you.” Clara started to walk away, then stopped. She turned back to Lamar. “Be careful, okay?”

    “Yeah, you too,” Lamar said.

The two parted ways on the quiet morning.

"They won 2 out of 3. With 34 for, but 36 against, with a Point Difference of -2. Finishing their group with 10 points, two of em being bonus points. They had decent performances against Larxia and Ageros, but their loss against UA made them go into the negative with PD. They are a more defensively-focused team and their attack has shown to struggle from time to time."

THE SUN HAWKS VS THE SKYMANTLES Zoran VS Greiya
"For sure all of Polaris plus Overthinkers will be hoping for an upset here, we have the current champions: Zoran facing off against newcomers Greiya."
"Zoran needs no introduction, they won all their games. However they seemed a bit shaky considering they're the current champions. They had 56 Points For, 39 Points Against, with a PD of +17, the worst PD out of the group leaders. Qualifying with 13 points, one of them being a bonus point. Even with that, if the previous RWC taught us something, is that they can recover in the knockout stages."
"They began their last RWC campaign poorly, loosing to debutants: Nouveauterra and then to Ryxtylopia, but later they were able to recover and win the whole thing."

"On the other hand, we have debutants: Greyia, and they shouldn't be underestimated considering Zoran's recent history of losing to debutants in the last two RWC's. Greiya was 3rd in their group with only one win against Varanius. They ended their group with a really impressive 51 Points For, 39 Against and a PD of +12. They have 6 points, 2 of them being bonus points.
"Since Greiya is a debutant, they haven't participated in any previous RWC editions. But it is obvious they are the underdogs here. Zoran's team is stronger on paper, but their recent history has shown they still lose to on-paper weaker teams from time to time. Zoran's agressive focus could be their downfall, but Greiya's defense also struggled somewhat against the likes of powerhouses: Dalimbar and Teralyon. Only time will tell who wins this match. They will play in the Istadio Ciudade Tsalapaní."

"Teralyon is the only group leader that did not win all three rounds, being the worst out of the group leaders. They have two wins and a draw against Dalimbar. With 45 Points For, 21 Against, and a PD of +24. They made 12 points, two of them being bonus points."

"They're the second debutant to make the Round of 16, so no previous participations to talk about. But this match will be interesting. Teralyon only drew with Dalimbar, a previous champion. And it seems they want to reach the podium again. While Inserberistan doesn't have much going for them, but if they play well enough they can hold off the Teralyian attack, they could take the match somewhere interesting."

THE KITES VS NOUVEAUTERRA Overthinkers VS Nouveauterra
"Next Up: 1-Point RC VS Nouveauterra. Overthinkers is one of the favorites to win this tournament given how they did last time in their home soil. We'll see if they can reach the final once again."
"Overthinkers' campaign so far has been uneventful, they did the expected: 3 wins. 0 losses. With 60 Points For, 30 Against and a +30 PD. Qualifying with 13 points, one of them being a bonus point. For some reason, they switched coaches. Even after Anton Edwards got them to the final last year. Apparently the shame of losing the final at home, by one point, in full view of all their people was so great they decided to get someone else to lead them, or there's another reason. Ask the Overthinkers yourself dear viewer."
"As said previously, they were runners' up last year. Many of us still remember that drammatic final against Zoran."

"Nouveauterra weren't able to beat Ryxtylopia this time around, so they seek another win against a top nation. They somewhat underperformed in the group, but still qualified with one win and two losses. They scored 25 Points For, 37 Against, and ended with a PD of -12. They finished the group with 5 points, 1 of those being a bonus. Even if they didn't meet our expectations, they so far have a record of beating stronger nations, like they did in RWC V."

"Nouveauterra has experience beating 2 top-rugby nations already, they'll try to use it to their advantage. But OT has the motivation to reach another final. Plus their team's quality is still really good. In their RWC they achieved the scored the most points out of any team, so their attack is dangerous if left unchecked. But Nouevauterra has showed good defending. Even with the Kites as favorites, this will be an interesting match to watch!"

THE BOYS IN BLUE VS JERIMIAHIA Dalimbar VS Jerimiahia
"Dalimbar still seeks more glory! But in their way is debutant: Jerimiahia. Dalimbar is always a solid contender in every RWC, so lets take a look at what they bring to this match!"
"Dalimbar won two out of three games, they drew with Teralyon in an intense match that I watched like four times. They have 49 For, 38 Against, and a PD of +11. With 11 Points, one of them being a bonus. If it wasn't for Teralyon's two bonus points, the Dalimbari would have had a shot at getting first place in their group."
"Last RWC, they once again lost to Zoran in a knockout round. Being one of their poorer perfomances in recent history."

"Jerimiahia hasn't had the best debut in the history of debutants. But they've performed pretty decently so far. One win, two losses. With a score of 44 For, 39 Against, PD of +5. With 7 points! 3 Bonus Points included. They got a BP every game, id say that's a fairly good sign for what lies again. Even if they don't win against Dalimbar, we know they'll put up either a good fight or a good defense."
"Debutants in previous RWC editions have gone from almost nothing to powerhouses in short time. Look at Ryxtylopia, with a poor start to RWC 4 to then end in 3rd place. Jerimiahia could achive that if their team tries hard enough. But for now, looks like Dalimbar is on route to the quarterfinals.

THE PIRATES VS THE SEA LIONS Ryxtylopia VS Larxia
"The northern-auran Tricolor, THE PIRATES! Will face off against the Sea Lions from Larxia in this round. Ryxtylopia still aims to make our first final, so lets take a look."
"Ryxtylopia won its three games, being the 2nd-best group leader overall. With 70 Points For, 49 Against, and a PD of +21. The Pirates ended the group with 14 points, including 2 bonus points. They have lots of motivation, but also lots of pressure. Luckily being hosts means the crowds will also pressure the opposing team, and having over fifty-thousand people chanting against your team in the Chacas Arena turns it into one of the most hostile venues of this RWC."

"Facing us we have Larxia, a nation we have not faced in Rugby yet. But if anything they'll be tempted to show their best game since they're going up against the hosts."
"Larxia finished their group in 3rd with one win, two losses. Scoring 18 For, 23 Against and finishing with a PD of -5. They have 5 points to their name, one of them being a bonus. They may get intimidated by the size of the local crowds, but they seek to knock us out and pull off a major upset."

THE YOUKAI VS STANEBURG Hertfordshire and Jammbo VS Staneburg.
"Finally, Hertfordia prepares to face off against newcomers Staneburg. In an interesting duel as both teams look pretty even."
"Hertfordia finished their group with two wins and one loss. They scored 55 For, and 33 Against with a PD of +22. And earning themselves 10 points, including 2 bonus points. Despite losing to the reigning champions H&J have always been solid against stronger sides. We'll see if that applies to the newcomers as well."

Having two wins, one loss. With 36 Points For, 26 Against, and a PD of +10. Qualifying with 8 points clean, the only team on this list with no Bonus Points."
"H&J wants to reach further instances again, while Staneburg's form has shown to be great. Two good teams facing eachother will always result in an innteresting match!"
