  1. Ah yes, that's right. I know Osiris uses it (or used to use it).
  2. Good to hear you were able to handle the insurgent quickly, and best wishes to TEP on continued growth in activity. Thanks for the update !
  3. ^ What they said. BTW.... Seminar: Ask Westwind: A Question and Answer Session with Westwind, Former Everything Host: Westwind Date: Sunday, Nov 11; 8 PM EST
  4. I love Fireworks ! Good to see ya, hope all is well in Monkey Island.
  5. I've evolved more into an in-game player as well. It's simpler that way, and that's where the real game is. If NS would just add telegram storage space, and multi-threaded RMBs we'd be all set. But, there's still need for regional communitiies to have a place to plan and interact beyond the game until then. Now if we can get the newer players to take their place as the future leaders that they are....
  6. Antimatter. The Delegate is defined by game mechanics regardless of what else we do ..... or don't do As it stands (or sits) now, IMO, the structure is simply: The Delegate The Guardians The Mayor Toss in an Assembly/Committee-of-The-Whole/Courtyard for everyone that wants to participate, and see where it all takes us.
  7. There's been problems with a few individual since you've been gone. Same persons usually. As I recall, they started out by posting alot of porn links on forums, and eventually graduated to forum destruction.
  8. Good luck with your NSR and TNP candidacies Separting TWP and NSR into clearly separate entities is something I was glad to see. I figured that ED's change would have resolved it for both ends, didn't know there was still any remenants of the connection. I did express a concern over some wording in the NSR constitution proposal that appears to limit our delegate's ability to freely banject as needed. PUT tried to put my concerns at rest, but I'm not convinced. I just think it's a Feederite/Userite difference in understanding the use of the ban button. At this point, I think the priority is getting new and/or experienced players active here in building a new future. We've got a start here, but it's really quite fragile at this point. Then we can take that activity and build a new government. I'd like to see more comments from Yy, but as some of us know, the Delegacy is a full time job in itself.
  9. Agreed. What I've said with the Equilism forums is that it doesn't really matter if the COPS Treaty is in effect or not, deleting intellectual property that you don't own is simply illegal and will be directed to RL authorities.
  10. *chuckles* The Intel side of the game in NS is pretty much dead. There's still room for it, but with different aims than before. On the other hand, for anyone that may be interested, I do have intel targets for potential agents. Phishing is essentially trying to obtain personal information via fraud. (like those bogus email that claims to be from a bank, saying they need your account information)
  11. As an FYI, there is a discussion at the NS Worlds Fair on updated the C.O.P.S Treaty. The current Treaty, originally ratified by The West Pacific and ACCEL:
  12. Thank you for bringing NSR up, it's been on my mind. IMO, we should continue our relationship with NSR. I support continuing our existing interregional relationships. But I also would llike to see us put more effort into TWP as a priority over putting effort into interregional activities. We won't be a long-term effective partner in NSR unless we rebuild here at home. As our new military comes together, I'd like to have opportunities for us to work with the NSR Volunteers. I've worked with PUT a little bit already, and I think he's done a good job so far, but the Volunteers appear to be pretty green while the raider members want to raid rather than wargame (from my one IRC visit with them). I appreciate the work that you, ED and Tweedy have done there...but to be honest I'd like to see more of you around here My only real concern with NSR is that it would detract from TWP and drain our few natural resources. On the other hand, I support each player in doing what works best for them and allows them to enjoy the game. What is the status of our activity there ? Are you still VP ? Are our House of Lords seats all filled ? It's three seats we have isn't it ? Does that include the Delegate's seat in the HoL, or is it in addition ? Has Yy participated, or is he even interested ? I've appreciated PUT's updates on NSR, but it doesn't reflect TWP's participation specifically.
  13. *waves to Borduriaa* Good to see you on the new forum. We've got your new Embassy set up here.
  14. Vodka is great for cleaning things. Anarchy is great though. Both All Good People and Westwind are anarchy. I continue to be surprised how long I've been able to main them that way, even with answering new issues.
  15. Thanks Uni, I was wondering about the status of the Fair.
  16. I had a job offer in the Bahama's a few years ago.
  17. Aye, the old forum was too cluttered smelled of mothballs.
  18. It's simply impossible that much time has gone by. All Good People was also created for the puppetmaster operation on TNP in '04. Left TWP for that, but came back and stayed. As long as you got the girl, must've all been worth it
  19. *waves* Hey there stranger, welcome to TWP ! Glad you found our new digs. Make yourself at home, I'm sure we've got some chairs around here someplace.
  20. Might as well post it here for now, we'll get the Embassies sorted out later. I'd suggest starting a new thread though.
  21. Getting hard to judge the depth here, it's over a foot though. But it's compressing as it's piling up and drifting. Expecting about the same amount here by Sat. morning.
  22. *chuckles* I'm used to having those on the Equilism forum, they come in handy.
  23. *nods* An Ad Hoc arrangement works for me.
