    Hall of Nations Application

    I, Loller Corleone, swear that I have, to the best of my knowledge, been completely truthful in applying for citizenship in The West Pacific and that I have no other NationStates identity that has not been made known in this application. I swear my allegiance to The West Pacific and its citizens, and I swear not to engage in hostilities against The West Pacific or to violate The Manners of Governance, or any laws made pursuant to it.

    January Elections


    January started with Chancellor elections in The Universal Allegiance. Nomination process ran for five days during which four citizens nominated themselves as candidates. Voting started on January 14 and ended on January 17th. Lollerland who was then the Chancellor won the election once again and was reelected as the Chancellor of The Universal Allegiance.

    Regional Flag Competition!

    The Universal Allegiance's Ministry For Internal Affairs organized a Regional Flag Competition to find out who has the best/most creative national flag. Numerous Citizens participated in the contest and at the end Lord Emmanuel emerged as the victor through popular vote!

    The Universal Allegiance Marine Corps

    Recently, after several attempts beforehand, the Marine Corps where officially launched. Applications started on January 20th, and in the short time after, the Marines have seen growth and immense success. Most of the applicants were first time raiders without a clue to what raiding entailed. Under the leadership of the Minister for Armed Forces, Satya Romefeller, recruits were trained and can now participate in military operations with the best of them. The first successful operation took place on January 29th, a mere nine days after applications started. Marines have undertaken numerous operations with esteemed regions, such as The Mafia, Arda en Estel, and The Black Hawks. There's no doubt the Marine Corps have come a long way, and will certainly keep going.
     

    Roleplay Month


    March 2017 was announced as the Roleplay month of the year. In the past, Roleplay months were conducted regularly in The Universal Allegiance. In an attempt to bring new life to the roleplay community of the region, Secretary For Roleplays Harndar announced the return of Roleplay Month. Citizens are given prizes and awards at the end of the Roleplay Month based on their activity, contribution and quality of roleplaying.

    From the Chancellor's desk

     


    Greetings,

    First of all I would like to thank you for taking time to read this update. The Universal Allegiance was once a pretty big region with a population above 250 nations, but this was not the case when I was elected to be the Chancellor of our great region almost two months. Both our RMB and offsite forum was going through a big phase of inactivity, new nations were no more joining us because of a non existing recruitment campaign, our regional population become as low as 60, in short at that point the future of TUA was not looking bright. But one thing TUA has never lost is it's core community consisting of people who have through ages made strong and long lasting bonds of friendship.

    I am proud to say that TUA is coming back, stronger than before. We crossed the primary population target of 100 nations and also crossed the secondary target of 120 and is currently standing at a population of 150 nations. We have done great leaps in foreign affairs with establishing relations with some of the strongest regions in the game. The Universal Allegiance also joined Coalition Against Ideology of Nazism with an aim to wipe out Nazism from NationStates. So yeah, it's safe to say we have had one of the best terms in a long time.

    Establishing new realtions

     


    The Universal Allegiance established embassies with some of the biggest regions of NationStates. Following is a list of regions we established forum embassies with recently:-

    The West Pacific
    Lazarus
    The North Pacific
    Osiris
    Yggdrasil
    The Allied States
    Interestingly, all of these regions except The Allied States are also signatories of the recently formed Coalition Against Ideology of Nazism. The Universal Allegiance hopes to increase it's influence in foreign affairs by building strong foreign relations.

     

    Art Competition


    An art competition was held in our forum by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in which our creative and artistic citizens were asked to submit anything that they made which can be called as art. First place was tied between Yamakami and Kanosus while Harndar secured the second place, the third position was again a tie between Ankshara(aka Remalandia) and Lollerland.

    The Universal Allegiance

    The Universal Allegiance invites all members of The West Pacific to participate in The Spam Olympics which shall be held in The Universal Allegiance's offsite forum.

    The Spam Olympics will be a week long event in which spammers from various regions comes together at one place and spam their hearts out, bring glory to their region in the process.

     Those participating will be able to take part in various games and contests and win medals for their region, at the end of the event the region with the biggest medal tally will be crowned as the champions and shall have their name written in the history forever!
