Local authorities in Badgeria have identified one of eight people killed in an avalanche earlier this week as Eliinna Mannis, a neonatal nurse from Saint Tannoch.

Around 110 volunteers combed through debris on Trapper Mountain, concluding rescue and recovery operations early Friday. Authorities believe back-to-back avalanches occurred Wednesday near Sula, Badgeria, killing a total of eight and trapping another thirteen who were later rescued. Rescue coordinators do not believe anyone else is missing.
