Trade Agreement Treaty [Active RP]

Open Letter to Recognized Nations
in Regards to
The Great World Trade Network

Writ by the Foreign Affairs Office of Einherfell

   To my fellow nations,
It comes to my attention that the current trade standards between our nations is varied, in regards to both international to intercontinental trade. Tariffs between some nations show favoritism between those with higher economic output and GDP and those that have lower economic output. In an effort to set a foot forward to a compassionate region and a more open trade environment, we propose a set standard of trades, with laws protecting each country that does vow to sign and obey the agreed upon laws. Einherfell proposes a free trade agreement between the nations of this glorious world, which shall have a committee overseeing the protection of said agreement. This letter is sent to bring a debate to the nations of this region to discuss the benefits, terms, and process of protecting the agreement. This article must be debated within two weeks time to ensure proper measure can be taken to bring all signing nations into compliance by the end of the second quarter of this year.

We look forward to discussing the topic officially.
With warm regards,
Citadel Tyrio, Einherfell Foreign Affairs Office

Einherfell Foreign Affairs Office

Dear Minister Tyrio,

I write on behalf of the Recuecian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Unfortunately, do to current political circumstances, our nation currently does not have a Foreign Minister who can represent the entire Ministry and Recuecn as a whole.

Despite these circumstances, our government has indicated an interest in participating in the proceedings and considering membership in whatever organization the summit's debate may result in.

Therefore our ministry will be sending as our representative Wolfgang Delivres, III Baron d'Aexwell. He will arrive by plane in Doll Guldur on the 12th for the summit, and will be prepared to present the Recuecian position on several issues of free trade, which we will therefore not discuss at length here.

We look forward to the summit and hope it will be productive.

On behalf of the Recuecian Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

Emile Rougemont

Ministry Staffer

To Cytadel Tyrio, in the Foreign Affairs office of the Empire of Einherfell

The Confederal Kingdom of Hertfordshire and Jammbo has reviewed this proposal and has concluded that it will not only benefit the country, but will also prove of value to the West. We believe a trade agreement of this magnitude will enable free trade at a level at which cannot be achieved without it. The Parliament has voted to support this deal, and both Prime Minister Clarkov and King Charles have given it their seal of approval. The people are also on board, having voted in favour by 59% to 41%. I look forward to representing this kingdom at the summit.

Signed,

Blumiere Dooku, Minister of Foreign Affairs

Clarkov Nadja Clarkson, Prime Minister

Dear Minister Tyrio,

I write on behalf of Baron Comte von Fountaine IV and the Parliament of our word-loving nation, and also in the name of the commission of specialists jointly appointed and confirmed by our national leadership to participate in this Summit. We thank you for your initiative in organizing this. We will participate in this summit.

Recalling Fuentana's location amidst the great oceans and seas of The West Pacific, as well as our cultural heritage and the realities we face, our commission wishes to inform you and all summit participants that our special concern will be to balance the desire for Free Trade with proper environmental safeguards. Our nation will likely bear the brunt of any adverse effects of increased commercial shipping. Our ecotourism industry and our nation's own connection with the land and sea could be imperiled if the Free Trade agreement does not ensure environmental care.

That said, our commission, comprised of social and environmental scientists, also wishes to assure all of The West Pacific that we stand for the principles of Free Trade, which gives all nations the best chance of flourishing together. When the debate begins, however, we will draw attention to the necessity of environmental accommodations to ensure health and wealth for generations.

Sincerely,
Prof. Edgar Biologicos
Co-Chair of the Fuentana Trade Mission
Professor of Marine Biology, Spring City University
