A couple sentences about your nation:

Lzecov Islands is a nation located on the southern islands of Andolia. It serves as a place of residency for corporations that try to avoid taxes, as an offshore zone, and allegedly as a money laundering mechanism. It is a role model for some libertarians, as the Lzecov government does not imposes any direct taxes (too bad they have lots of indirect ones) and, while it provides basic education and healthcare, most of the population prefers private services.

The islands are a popular tourist destination. The main attractions are mysterious tundra landscapes and southern lights, but Lzeci have more than natural wonders to offer. Like Pescovka, once a rich village that died along with its polar fox farm but got reborn as a resort for depressed billionaires.

Lzecov Islands have a vast infrastructure supported by government-owned companies (that is, the government has the largest share of them), and the tourists can make sure of it when driving a bus on a national highway or sailing a yacht between the main islands. The common folk, however, uses civilian infrastructure, but who cares! Better look at the nuclear power plant in the city of Aurora-Australis, the scientific hub and the Lzecov power center (in all means).

Lzecov Islands hugely depend on foreign powers. The army consists of naval police and international military bases, and the workforce is at large consists of immigrants who are willing to risk their lives and health to earn a quick buck. But the foreign powers depend on Lzecov Islands as well. Why else do they use the long and dangerous, but barely taxing Southern Sea Route?

The national languages are Common and Lzecovian Native. Though Lzecovian Common is highly influenced by Lzecovian Native, and Lzecovian Native is not exacly native but the language of the first colonial overlord... also there are immigrant languages, but no one speaks them statistically.

Alaska: Lzecov was previously a colony of a slavic-esque empire, later sold to another nation. Some time later silver ore was discovered...

Australia: ...but before that the recently bought colony was used as a place of exile for criminals

Nauru: The islands became populous because of silver — and later uranium — rush, also got money from farming expensive polar fox fur. But at the end of the last century the mines got depleted, and the foxes had to be killed because of the Fox Flu. A large chunk of the population fled the nation

Cayman Islands: So now the nation is a large offshore bank and a tax heaven; it provides a naval route alternative to Darkesian Sea, with much lower tax rate; finally, extreme tourism is also helps to get some foreign currency

Russian Arctic: Now Lzecov Islands is a nation with a strong currency and high income rates, but also with a high cost of living and somewhat average quality of life; it has a large infrastructure and provides free healthcare and education, but these are deteriorating because of lack of funding, and also because those were created for a country with a larger population. It also highly depends on cheap immigrant labor, corporate investments and foreign aid.

Inscribia, officially the Commonwealth of Inscribia, is a nation currently ruled by Monarch Ryan The Great and Head of State Anthony II. Inscribia has deep cultural roots dating back nearly 600 years, with religious beliefs having a heavy influence on the nation's decisions and its citizens. 73.29% of the population identify as Christian, and 13.07% identify with one of the minority religions. Inscribians are also known for their deep history in music, poetry, and many other cultural pursuits. A majority of the population is ethnically Inscribian; however, this majority has decreased over the last decade due to an influx of foreigners. Currently, the Novum Conservativa Alliance (center-right) holds a majority in the parliament with 112 seats. The Khesed Archipelagic Republic of Emmeria (referred to henceforth as Emmeria) is an older nation that engages its citizenry with challenges in the educational and environmental sectors intentionally, using simulated events known as ARGs (alternative reality games) to identify, understand and rectify core societal talking points. Emmeria has a rich history, beginning in the late 600s when many of the older native tribes came to the mainland of Doll Guldur and shared their fighting spirit with a country in danger of being wholly annexed by a neighboring militant force. After liberating the old capital, the mainland nation helped force out pirates and raiders from the Khesed Archipelago and neighboring settlements, and the nation was born.

If you are seriously considering the idea of expansion, then be prepared to write a really detailed and well written storyline, with the reasons about the expansion, the costs to your nation and so on. It's also subject to approval by Loremasters of course.

What I usually say in these cases is to remember that roleplay isn't about having more pixels on the map or a bigger number in the Big Book of Numbers, but to have fun storytelling, both on your own and as a community.

Formally a part of Nalibia, the North seceded due to the belief that, royal rulers should have equal power, and an elected Head of State chosen from among the rulers for a term; That the Parliament be given more government power, and able to elect the Head of State of the Nation; That resources of the land should be controlled by the free market, and placed under the control of those willing to invest; That the Office of Emperor should be abolished, and no state religion recognized.

If anyone wants to collaborate, it can be like a North/South Korea where my nation was defeated by another nation then was liberated by a 3rd party alliance that divided Nalibia into a North and south. Now many years later the south has decided to reunify the nation back into one, or a North/South Vietnam where Nalibia was colonized by another power and only the South fought off the Colonial power. Many invasions by the North and South would have been fought since; in efforts to reunify, with now the south's invasion being the latest in a series of wars between them.

If created without collaboration this nation will be at war with Nalibia. During the build up of tensions and seizing of military control, refugees will have fled the North expecting retaliation from the legitimate power. Those whom are loyal to their province will have stayed allowing the North to still field a capable military. Both sides will have turned off, barred or destroyed Transportation Infrastructure connecting the two countries that they were not able to control, such as roadways, highways, rail transport, bridges and tunnels.

If no one collaborates and North Nalibia seceded than the legitimate power (The South), would have maintained most of, if not the entirety of its Navy power. Its northern Naval bases and thus much of it's supplies would be under control of the north, but I believe its ships would be mostly if not entirely under Imperial control. I believe this to be the case as Naval vessels would have been 1. moved out of northern ports as tensions escalated, 2. Unlike a soldier which can chose their loyalty and take their personal equipment with them, a ship is a whole crew with high ranking officers from captains and first mates to petty officers and even low ranking sailors not only would have come from both sides across the empire, but whom not all would  support a secession, 3. The taking of a single ship via mutiny or simply the changing of colors would have instantly alerted high command to take action against further such occurrences and to hunt down said ship(s). 4. It would take an unacceptable amount of luck for several captains and officers to keep a plan to steal several ships at once secret, not to mention the chances of the sailors who would have come from all over the empire not blowing a whistle on the plan. 5. The long term gain of a Captain and crew knowing that even if they took the ship they would be a hand full out of hundreds, it would be more strategic to stay loyal and hope to bring about a quick victory; rather than turn, guaranteeing death and a tarnished name while contributing nothing to the north except the south having a few less ships.

(I understand a proper war will last at least 2-4 RL years, and I'm willing to make monthly update post of shifting battle lines and detailed battle reporting.)
