We are happy to hear about any advice for maintaining our fisheries, securing our borders from hostile intent, and entering the wider world of sports. I will say that the Western Pacific has been most welcoming, despite a turbulent reputation. Because I am new to this world stage, I intend to run the government as a father who knows best, but we all know that sometimes that means sacrifices (all our chocolate is being taxed by the Western Pacific!) and conciliatory gestures ("if momma ain't happy, nobody's happy"). Therefore, our government has begun to get a reputation as an Inoffensive Centrist Democracy. This is simply NOT the case! We are not afraid to be offensive if we are being true to our ideals. We WILL allow the Nazis to speak just as we allow all religions. Anyone here who cannot come to terms with that can go lick a rabbit. We have a few regions we are looking at to ally ourselves with in the future. In the meantime, I have enjoyed the social experiment this planet has provided and for the opportunity granted us to live our lives as citizens of this great nation we call..Trevekkia. Please take a look at the Survival Guide. Although you speak like someone who has played before, there is a lot of West Pacific info in there. Also take the time to join our Discord server. There is a lot of action up there and you can easily get into good conversations with both region-mates and others. We are also running 5 D&D games on Discord if that is your thing. White Peppermint M&M candy, 2/3 box of Chocolate Candy Cane Truffles, and 1 Packet of Nestle Real Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa. I have never played before nor even heard of NationStates until 2 days ago when I started. I do indeed play D&D and have Discord already for Civ games and World of Tanks Clan Wars and stuff like that. Check it out! https://www.nationstates.net/nation=trevekkia Originally I was going to go with some K'un Lun Iron Fist type stuff, but I decided to go the Indiana Jones route instead, grounding my country a little bit firmer in reality, although the pocket dimension idea still appeals to me since my country is basically like northcentral Tibet but not as cold (hot springs DO exist in the area in real life so it's not that crazy). Calling someone a grouch when they are not in the mood is disrespectful. This doesn't mean we hate fun. On the contrary, we encourage funny and sometimes critical remarks. However, what you said to one of the Guardians was not only uncalled for, but disrespectful. You may believe I am just another "grump", but I experienced the same thing recently. I managed to learn my mistakes, and was re-accepted into the region. Everyone wants to be treated with respect, and if you can't handle that, then you should not be here. What I perceive is a lousy sense of humor when they kicked me out because I asked what the significance of having 3 guardians was because I was new and said as much. I'm done with West Pacific and will not be coming back. They have a bad reputation despite having a cool newspaper. I hung out in your Karaoke Friday night room and nobody came all night except one guy who was new to your Discord and I had to tell him how to change his setting to Push-To-Talk. You seem to get a kick out of belittling people who challenge your ideals of immorality and you aren't as funny as you think you are when you mock good people just trying to enjoy the alternative reality of a different world.
