How Good Are You At Geography?

Thank you, Hariko, for letting us know of this quiz!

I mixed up the flags of Colombia and Venezuela, and then pressed the wrong button for the other one.

That was a tricky part for me as well, but I always remember that Colombia has unequal stripes (bigger yellow), so that's how I got it.

Flags aren't geography, I could correctly label an entire world map with 99% accuracy.

Geography and vexillology — two of my biggest loves. :)

29/30 all because I assumed that the Chinese government wanted Beijing to be bigger than Shanghai....My 4th grade social studies teacher would be disappointed in me.

I made it to state in the National Geographic Geo Bee...

... Then the Indian kids wiped the floor with me.

The same happened to me...multiple times....

Flags are not an object that Geography studies (Vexillology and, more generally speaking, Heraldry do), but they constitute part of the Study of Countries.

The Study of Countries is not entirely Geography of the political divisions of the World, but its biggest part is indeed Geography.

Because kids are introduced to Political Geography through, in a big part, the Study of Countries, the flag-geography connection is rather strong.
