Westwind Posted February 28, 2015 Share Posted February 28, 2015 RIP Leonard. 'Tis a sad day. Way back when in the 60's when Star Trek was on and I was young, I wanted to be a Vulcan. I remember walking around the back yard trying to push the tips of my ears up to look like one. I was in first grade. By the time it was in reruns and I was in 3rd grade, I was making my own ships helm in the basement out of empty boxes and whatever could find to use to look like controls. (I later used that experience to build a control panel for a stage play when I was stage manager in high school, only this time I had lights and buttons for it) He was good as Paris in Mission Impossible too.
