Settings --> notification settings in the far right. You probably have emails enabled for notifications or you could remove your email address from your account.

Another option is to post in the admin request area and ask an admin to delete your account for you?

You must disable the notifications.  You will only receive email from threads you are following and if you also have your account set to send you email notifications.

Mia is correct that if you would like your account disabled, you need to make that request via PM or in the correct thread on the forum.
